visual studio code is microsoft most
popular development tool for windows and
it is an open source code editor to run
c programs and it is also used in game
development web development and many
more
so without further ado let's get started
with the installation process
first let us install mingw which
compiles the program to install
let's open google and search for mingwc
compiler
and now click on the first link
and here we see the download button so
let's click on this
as you can see your download will start
shortly
and once installed let's open and run it
in mingw installation manager setup tool
click on install
and it's a default directory so let's
click on continue
here as you can see download is in
progress so let's wait for it
once done click on continue
now in mnzw installation manager
let's install all these packages
to install right click on the package
and mark for installation
okay let's do the same right click on
the package and mark for installation
and once we are done with marking all
these packages
click on installation here
and click on apply changes
and now click on apply
it will take some time to install so
let's wait for it to get installed

so once installed click on close
let's go to the folder
and select the mingw path

so double click on mingw
and now
open bin
and select this path
ctrl c
and now let's add it to the environment
variable
at bottom
search for environment
variable in system properties click on
environment variables
and in system variables select path and
click on edit
and now in edit environment variable
click on new and paste the path here

let's search for visual studio code

now click on download for windows
