Transcripts

play00:00

hey guys I'm currently raising money for

play00:01

the bunge foundation charity event which

play00:03

is predominantly a Destiny 2 thing but I

play00:05

do have a Minecraft related incentive

play00:07

for people who donate $25 or I'll

play00:10

dedicate a statue to each person who

play00:12

does so in my upcoming hardcore series

play00:14

where I play Through The Dungeons and

play00:16

taverns data pack the link is in the

play00:18

description if you're interested and

play00:20

enjoy the

play00:24

video hey everyone welcome to my

play00:27

personal creative world and today I want

play00:29

to go over with you guys 20 plus vanilla

play00:31

friendly mods that I use every single

play00:34

day this isn't like one of those YouTube

play00:36

videos that just gets a bunch of

play00:37

different mods and just throws them in

play00:39

there because they're vanilla friendly

play00:40

no these are ones that I use every

play00:42

single day and I get a lot of questions

play00:44

about things like my resource pack

play00:46

shaders and just generally what other

play00:48

mods I use so that's what today's video

play00:50

is about so without further Ado let's

play00:53

get started the first thing I want to

play00:54

talk about is going to be my resource

play00:56

pack which is a modified version of the

play00:58

vanilla tweaks resource ource pack now

play01:00

the link to this will be in the

play01:01

description if you want the exact one

play01:03

that I'm using but some of the

play01:05

highlights are like changing the

play01:06

netherite helmet back to the classic

play01:08

texture of what you basically see every

play01:10

other helmet look like which is kind of

play01:12

funny because whenever it comes to the

play01:14

gold helmet I actually have the texture

play01:15

changed to a crown I'm a very big fan of

play01:18

the way that the crown looks and

play01:20

whenever I was little I always imagined

play01:21

the golden helmet being a crown anyways

play01:24

some of the other changes that I have in

play01:26

the vanilla tweaks pack is stuff like

play01:27

having no Ash at the bottom of camp

play01:30

fires because I kind of like to build

play01:31

with these sometimes and having the ash

play01:33

under them kind of makes it look a

play01:35

little bit ugly so that's one of the

play01:36

main changes that I have some other

play01:38

small changes that I have are of course

play01:40

my Crosshair as you can see it's a bit

play01:42

smaller than the vanilla one I also am

play01:44

using the different Bedrock texture

play01:46

because I don't know if you guys share

play01:48

the same opinion but the current default

play01:51

texture for Bedrock looks almost as ugly

play01:53

as the original netherite texture and I

play01:55

think this one looks a lot better some

play01:57

of the other changes I have are stuff

play01:59

like 3D ladders we have the 3D stone

play02:02

cutter I have varied bookshelves so they

play02:04

look slightly different 3D rails 3D lily

play02:07

pads and 3D iron bars that's not all the

play02:10

changes but some of the main ones that I

play02:12

feel like I can't live without next up I

play02:14

want to talk about my Shader pack now I

play02:16

get tons of questions about what Shader

play02:18

pack I use and this is complimentary

play02:20

shaders however this is a much older

play02:23

version of complimentary shaders because

play02:25

as you'll see it's just called

play02:27

complimentary shaders and nowadays the

play02:29

creator of the Shader pack has

play02:31

complimentary shaders Unbound and

play02:33

complimentary shaders reimagined and I'm

play02:36

not sure if you can get your hands on

play02:38

the OG version like I currently have I

play02:41

will have my settings down in the

play02:43

description for all of the changes that

play02:45

I made to this but from what I've seen

play02:46

complimentary reimagined is the closest

play02:49

that you can get to what I'm currently

play02:50

using you'll just have to make a few

play02:52

modifications to it moving on the next

play02:54

mod I want to talk about or mainly a

play02:56

resource pack is of course fresh

play02:58

animations now fresh animations is also

play03:01

going to come alongside two other things

play03:03

because if you are using sodium like I

play03:06

am instead of optify because well optify

play03:08

kind of sucks nowadays you are also

play03:10

going to need entity model features and

play03:12

entity texture features if you want this

play03:15

to run on something like sodium and in

play03:17

my opinion this makes the game just seem

play03:19

so much more alive it's one of those

play03:21

things that I truly feel like I can't

play03:23

play the game without because it just

play03:24

makes everything look so much nicer

play03:27

whenever the mobs feel alive and they

play03:29

feel feel less like just walking texture

play03:32

blocks now moving on the next mod I want

play03:34

to talk about is called 3D skin layers

play03:37

take a look at my current skin do you

play03:39

kind of see how there's a few different

play03:40

holes in my hair and it looks really

play03:43

really thin well if I enable this mod

play03:45

really quick you'll see that my hair

play03:47

looks actually full it looks kind of

play03:49

like hair you would see on a real person

play03:51

instead of just a really thin layer with

play03:53

some holes in it and that is what 3D

play03:55

skin layers does this is a very small

play03:58

mod but I feel like it makes my skin

play04:00

looks so much better than it normally

play04:01

does by default so I like having it

play04:03

around the next mod I want to talk about

play04:05

is called better F3 if you take a look

play04:08

at the top left you can see what my F3

play04:10

menu looks like and it basically has all

play04:13

of the information that I could possibly

play04:16

want you can see things like the current

play04:18

day ticks days played slime trunks how

play04:21

many monsters there are creatures aelott

play04:23

uh water creatures all that kind of

play04:25

stuff as well as the coordinates FPS

play04:27

everything in between and a lot of this

play04:29

information I have colorcoded you can

play04:31

customize this basically down to the

play04:34

very last detail and I think better F3

play04:37

at least for me is a must to get the

play04:39

specific information that I want without

play04:41

needing to search around too much moving

play04:43

on to something that I think you guys

play04:44

have probably already seen but you maybe

play04:47

have not noticed is called blur if you

play04:50

notice whenever I open up this inner

play04:52

chest you'll see everything else on my

play04:54

screen blur and the main thing that is

play04:56

of focus is of course the interner chest

play04:59

inventory

play05:00

just I don't know why I initially

play05:02

installed this but I feel like it just

play05:04

looks so much better and I feel like it

play05:06

should be like this by default maybe it

play05:09

is in Bedrock Edition I can't really

play05:10

remember I haven't played that version

play05:12

in a while but I feel like this just

play05:13

looks right to me and I really like it

play05:16

moving a few hundred blocks away we are

play05:18

now in a Cherry Grove biome and one

play05:21

thing that you'll notice about the

play05:22

Cherry Grove is of course the fact that

play05:24

leaves fall and they might be falling a

play05:27

little bit more than usual right now and

play05:28

that is because I am using the falling

play05:30

leaves mod and basically this brings the

play05:33

particle effects of falling leaves over

play05:35

to any kind of tree in the

play05:38

game which come on Oak Tree don't don't

play05:41

disappoint me here you're making me oh

play05:43

you see it there's a leaf yeah see I

play05:46

wasn't lying uh it's just not as much

play05:48

because the Cherry Groves kind of do it

play05:50

intrinsically and this is just part of

play05:52

the mod now this is something that you

play05:54

can uh change you can change how many

play05:57

particles there are and how often they

play05:59

spawn and stuff like that but I feel

play06:00

like stuff that Minecraft absolutely

play06:03

needs is the little things like this

play06:05

that kind of bring the atmosphere to the

play06:07

game I really like small stuff like this

play06:09

and it is just the perfect addition to

play06:11

the game because well you only have one

play06:13

biome really that does it right now now

play06:15

while on the topic of biomes doing

play06:18

things that other biomes don't do here

play06:21

we are in the basalt I fell into lava

play06:24

here we are in the basalt Delta and one

play06:27

thing that you'll notice and one thing

play06:28

that I notic as soon as I started

play06:30

playing the nether update is the fact

play06:32

that the atmosphere in this biome is

play06:35

insane the particle effects that go

play06:37

through the basalt Deltas are just

play06:38

absolutely unmatched and I really wish

play06:41

Minecraft would add this to more aspects

play06:43

of the game and fortunately for you this

play06:45

mod does that back in the Overworld and

play06:47

taking a dip into the caves you will

play06:50

notice that these caves have a very

play06:52

similar effect to the basalt deltas and

play06:54

that is because I'm using the cave dust

play06:57

mod I just was really in love with what

play06:59

moang did to the basalt deltas and I

play07:01

just loved the effect that it gave off

play07:03

and I'd like to see it more often and

play07:05

Cave dust I mean it just makes sense

play07:07

right it just seems like something that

play07:09

you would see uh in Minecraft by default

play07:11

and this again is something that you can

play07:13

customize you can get way more cave dust

play07:15

than what you currently see on screen

play07:17

but I don't like it to be too much of a

play07:18

distraction so I keep it to a minimum

play07:21

and it just really allows for the

play07:22

atmosphere to shine through whenever

play07:24

you're down here now moving on to the

play07:26

next mod I am going to absolutely blow

play07:30

your guys' minds you guys are not going

play07:31

to know what to think whenever I show

play07:33

you what this next mod does I'm going to

play07:35

go into this water right here I'm going

play07:37

to mine out some sand and put down some

play07:39

Soul Sand and what you guys are going to

play07:41

see is Bubbles that are popping yes I

play07:45

know absolutely gamechanging this mod is

play07:48

called make bubbles pop and you'll never

play07:50

guess what it does it makes bubbles Pop

play07:53

I don't know why bubbles don't pop

play07:55

currently and it's a question that

play07:57

apparently this mod maker uh you you

play07:59

know wanted an answer to so he made a

play08:00

mod about it and you know I just I I

play08:02

really like it I don't know what I would

play08:04

do without it now this next mod is

play08:06

something that is way way way more

play08:08

important than what we were just talking

play08:10

about and this mod is going to be called

play08:12

Mouse tweaks now this is kind of like an

play08:15

inventory management thing there's only

play08:17

one real reason that I use this mod so

play08:19

you guys know how you can hold shift and

play08:21

then you can left click and you can move

play08:22

stuff into your inventory right well the

play08:24

main reason that I use this mod is so I

play08:27

can do that that was just me holding

play08:29

left click once and just dragging the

play08:32

mouse over it while holding shift and

play08:34

this just makes Inventory management

play08:36

just so so so much easier I I don't know

play08:40

what I would do without this it ju it

play08:41

just makes moving things around that

play08:43

much better and of course while on the

play08:45

topic of inventory related stuff you

play08:48

can't talk about inventory related stuff

play08:50

without having the mod known as well

play08:54

give me one second without having the

play08:56

mod known as shulker tool tips and this

play08:59

is basically what it says and what it

play09:01

shows instead of needing to place down a

play09:04

shulker box to see what's inside of it

play09:06

you can just simply highlight it you

play09:08

could also hold left alt so you can kind

play09:10

of shrink it down um yeah this is just

play09:13

absolutely needed as far as inventory

play09:15

stuff is concerned especially if you

play09:17

have a lot of Shuler boxes in the late

play09:18

game and I feel like most people

play09:21

probably already use this but I figured

play09:23

I'd mention it now going from something

play09:25

that is fairly important to something

play09:27

that doesn't matter at all this next one

play09:29

is called not enough animations and as

play09:32

you'll

play09:33

see it just gives some minor animations

play09:37

uh to you the player now this really

play09:39

isn't that important to many players out

play09:43

there uh as a YouTuber I use replay mod

play09:45

from time to time and having the extra

play09:47

animations while looking at myself

play09:50

through the theater mode uh is kind of

play09:52

nice for uh a little bit of a cinematic

play09:55

effect uh is there a ladder in

play09:58

here well I guess that'll do uh one of

play10:00

the other animations that you guys can

play10:02

see is of course somebody climbing a

play10:04

ladder although this is really Jank

play10:06

because there's only one ladder in here

play10:08

uh but there's multiple different kinds

play10:10

of animations that you can see but one

play10:12

of the biggest reasons for me to get

play10:14

this is because I used to play a lot of

play10:16

console edition Minecraft and one of the

play10:19

things in the console edition was the

play10:21

fact that you brought your hand up

play10:23

whenever you ate food why this isn't in

play10:27

the Java Edition is so weird to me like

play10:30

even as a child I was always so confused

play10:33

why that wasn't a thing and this mod

play10:35

fixes that as well as adds a bunch of

play10:37

other stuff now the next mod that I want

play10:39

to talk about is going back to something

play10:41

that really doesn't matter all that much

play10:44

and this mod is called particle rain and

play10:47

it basically changes the way that the

play10:49

base rain looks uh as well as making it

play10:52

somewhat customizable and this isn't

play10:55

really a huge thing for me I'm going to

play10:58

be honest but but uh it's kind of nice I

play11:00

like the way that particle rain looks

play11:02

compared to the default rain and it's

play11:04

just one of those small things kind of

play11:05

like the cave dust and whatnot that just

play11:07

kind of add up and make me enjoy the

play11:10

atmosphere a bit more segueing on over

play11:12

to something that you'll notice a little

play11:14

bit more I'm going to kill this cow

play11:15

really quick and this next mod is called

play11:18

the pickup Notifier as you guys can see

play11:21

in the bottom right corner if I drop any

play11:23

kind of item and I pick them up it

play11:25

basically tells me what I just picked up

play11:28

because I feel like the game doesn't

play11:29

really do that good of a job about

play11:31

letting you know what you just picked up

play11:33

and having a little pickup Notifier at

play11:35

the bottom right is kind of nice and you

play11:36

can even see the exact amount of XP orbs

play11:38

that you pick up too it's it's pretty

play11:40

nice next I want to talk about visuality

play11:43

which is probably something that you've

play11:45

already seen thus far but basically

play11:48

visuality just adds these tiny little

play11:50

details into the game uh at at various

play11:53

little intervals as you can see right

play11:55

there uh you could see a little bit of

play11:57

shine on that amethyst Crystal right

play12:00

there and this applies to a few other

play12:02

things in the game if I equip some gold

play12:04

armor you'll see I have the exact same

play12:06

thing happen uh it also happens with

play12:08

diamond armor and it even happens with

play12:10

ores that you might be finding

play12:11

throughout the caves uh that obviously

play12:14

isn't the only thing that it does if I

play12:16

pull up a slime spawn egg and spawn a

play12:18

few of these guys you'll see that they

play12:20

leave uh a little bit of slime Left

play12:22

Behind after they jump uh if I spawn in

play12:25

a skeleton really quick which I should

play12:27

probably spawn him inside a here so he

play12:29

doesn't burn up you'll see that whenever

play12:31

I punch him Bones actually come out if I

play12:34

go up to this guy right here this

play12:35

villager and I punch him you'll see that

play12:39

well some emeralds fly out uh so it's

play12:41

just again one of those little

play12:43

atmospheric things that I like and um

play12:46

yeah doesn't really make that much of a

play12:47

difference in your day-to-day but it is

play12:49

still kind of neat the next thing I want

play12:51

to talk about is again something you

play12:53

guys have probably seen a bunch of

play12:55

already but you just haven't noticed it

play12:58

and that is something thing called tiny

play13:00

item animation do you see whenever I

play13:02

click on these boots they have like a

play13:04

little bit of an animation to them where

play13:06

they just kind of like jump out of my

play13:08

inventory and onto my mouse that's

play13:11

basically the mod it's something that

play13:13

you may have noticed something you may

play13:15

have not noticed many of these mods

play13:17

again are really tiny things but to me

play13:20

they all add up to make my experience a

play13:22

little bit better and this is just one

play13:23

of those silly ones that I really like

play13:25

moving on to something a little bit more

play13:27

important though and this is an absolute

play13:29

must uh that is zoomify as you can see I

play13:33

just press my c key and I Zoomed In And

play13:35

if I use my mouse wheel I can zoom in

play13:39

even more and you can get so close that

play13:42

you can see the animation on that

play13:43

lantern from all the way back here so

play13:47

it's basically a necessity I know a lot

play13:49

of people who used to use optify back in

play13:50

the day got used to zoom mods myself

play13:52

included but now with everybody

play13:54

switching over to sodium myself included

play13:56

Zumi is basically what the op the fine

play13:59

Zoom mod is but much much better so thus

play14:02

far we've talked about my resource pack

play14:04

we've talked about my shaders we've

play14:06

talked about a bunch of different mods

play14:08

so now let's talk about a few data packs

play14:10

with the first data pack being called

play14:13

all mob heads and this has got to be

play14:16

probably my favorite data pack in the

play14:18

entire game if we go to the advancements

play14:21

here you can see every single mob head

play14:25

in the game now it is a little bit laggy

play14:26

cuz there are just a lot of things here

play14:29

but this is kind of like I don't know

play14:33

it's kind of like a an extra objective

play14:35

that the data pack gives you while

play14:37

keeping the game feeling as vanilla as

play14:39

possible now it doesn't change any of

play14:41

the vanilla mob heads as you can see

play14:43

right here all of these are still

play14:46

obtained in their normal ways with some

play14:48

of them being uh through hr's Creeper

play14:50

explosion but every other mob in the

play14:53

game has a random chance to drop its

play14:56

head it'll tell you the base rate plus

play14:58

how how much you get per looting

play15:00

enchantment that you have and one of my

play15:02

favorite things about this mod pack or

play15:05

about this data pack is the fact that

play15:07

the warden will now give you a proper

play15:11

reward cuz I know that whenever this

play15:13

update first came out and the warden

play15:15

first got introduced and you know people

play15:16

started killing him realizing that he

play15:18

literally dropped nothing well this data

play15:20

pack allows you to get his head as a

play15:22

trophy kind of similarly to the fact of

play15:25

the ender dragon head even though

play15:27

traditionally you would find the in the

play15:29

floating ships uh on the end and so just

play15:31

to show you guys really quick uh just an

play15:34

example because I haven't gotten the

play15:35

warden head on this world yet I'm going

play15:38

to go and throw the warden into this

play15:39

water right here and just go to town and

play15:42

if you guys just give me a little bit

play15:44

I'll eventually come back with his head

play15:46

okay that took absolutely forever but as

play15:49

you'll see the warden drops his normal

play15:51

quote unquote reward the skull Catalyst

play15:54

that nobody cares about but more

play15:56

importantly we get the warden's head and

play15:58

as you can you can see in the top right

play15:59

corner you actually get an achievement

play16:01

for this or an advancement and of course

play16:04

we can place this down and use this

play16:06

however we want which I think is really

play16:08

neat and the fact that literally every

play16:10

mob in the game gets it is really cool

play16:13

and another thing that you'll actually

play16:15

get via this data pack is trophies

play16:18

because I I believe I if I remember

play16:20

correctly I ended up making a tiny

play16:21

little Trophy Room in this area um yeah

play16:25

so as you'll see this is one of every

play16:27

single parrot head in the game and if

play16:30

you get every single one of the parrot

play16:32

heads you will then be given a trophy

play16:34

which is the golden parrot head and

play16:36

it'll just spawn in your inventory once

play16:38

you get the final advancement and I

play16:40

think the small stuff like that is

play16:42

pretty neat if we scroll all the way

play16:43

back up you'll see that I got all the

play16:45

parrot heads and once I unlocked this

play16:47

advancement right here it gave me a gold

play16:49

parrot head which is kind of cool so if

play16:51

you're ever playing in survival you know

play16:52

you can make your little trophy rooms

play16:54

for it and stuff and it's kind of

play16:56

reminiscent of what the Banners are and

play16:58

Terraria where you can just get them as

play17:00

random drops and it's kind of like a

play17:02

little mini trophy you know except

play17:04

unlike banners these heads don't really

play17:05

do anything in Minecraft but you can

play17:07

wear them if you want to and you can

play17:09

even put them on armor stands too now

play17:11

moving on to a data pack that is very

play17:13

similar to the one that we just talked

play17:15

about and one that I actually made a

play17:16

YouTube short on we have something

play17:18

called wandering trades and what this

play17:21

basically does it allows the wandering

play17:23

Trader to be a bit more useful than he

play17:26

normally is because for most players he

play17:29

isn't and it basically allows you to

play17:31

trade one block plus one Emerald for a

play17:34

mini version of the block and again this

play17:37

functions very similarly to the one that

play17:39

we just talked about where these are

play17:40

essentially just reskinned player heads

play17:42

but I really really really like uh this

play17:45

data pack because as you guys may have

play17:47

seen earlier uh I have a little trophy

play17:49

room over here that I made and we have

play17:52

the little mini versions of the gold

play17:54

blocks the diamond blocks and the

play17:55

emerald blocks uh over here I even made

play17:58

made this little cart with the horse and

play18:00

you can see right here we have some gold

play18:02

nuggets as well as over here a TNT blast

play18:05

mine and little mini versions of TNT

play18:08

that even if I were to get stuff uh like

play18:11

a redstone torch for example I can't set

play18:13

these off because well these aren't

play18:15

actual TNT blocks and can be used just

play18:17

for decoration so the wandering trades

play18:20

data pack just like the all mob heads

play18:22

data pack they're both very similar but

play18:24

they're both an absolute must in my

play18:26

opinion because at least with this one

play18:27

you can use these for your building

play18:29

projects now the next data pack that I

play18:32

want to talk about is called ships and

play18:34

basically what this data pack does is it

play18:37

gives the pillagers boat Ai and allows

play18:39

them to kind of go around in little mini

play18:41

patrols and boats around the ocean and

play18:44

it also allows for some ships to appear

play18:48

generated in the ocean which I feel is a

play18:50

definite I don't know it it just feels

play18:52

like something that should have been in

play18:54

the game already because we have sunken

play18:56

ships and these are just non sunken

play18:58

conversions and they are sailed by the

play19:00

pillagers and as you can see if I were

play19:02

to get on here I can actually go down

play19:05

here and we can find loot and a lot of

play19:08

this loot can of course be things like

play19:10

treasure maps uh we can go over here and

play19:13

we can find just their food and supplies

play19:15

and some of the stuff that they've

play19:17

gotten while they've been sailing and I

play19:19

think that this would be a really cool

play19:20

thing to come across and survival now

play19:23

what I will say is it does kind of tank

play19:25

your FPS just a little bit as the

play19:27

creator of the data pack said because

play19:29

the Pillager boat AI is kind of

play19:31

experimental but I still think that it's

play19:32

really neat and the fact that you can

play19:34

find these at random are pretty exciting

play19:37

now the last data pack I want to talk

play19:38

about is actually one that I dedicated

play19:40

an entire video to and that is called

play19:43

Dungeons and taverns and basically what

play19:45

this data pack does is it adds a bunch

play19:47

of vanilla friendly structures randomly

play19:49

generated throughout the game for you to

play19:51

find now what we're looking at right now

play19:53

is called the witch Villa and this is

play19:55

essentially uh the Pillager mansion

play19:58

version of The Witch uh kind of side of

play20:01

the game and it basically just functions

play20:03

as a very rare structure similar to the

play20:06

Pillager Mansion uh but with witches

play20:08

inside and you can see a bunch of

play20:10

different stuff take place here uh a

play20:12

bunch of different things that you can

play20:13

find I'm kind of just going to leave it

play20:16

at that but if I go ahead and pull up

play20:17

the locate command here uh this is what

play20:20

all of what this data pack adds to the

play20:22

game there are just a ton of randomly

play20:24

generated structures a lot of which are

play20:27

super rare to come across and it just

play20:28

kind of makes exploring throughout the

play20:30

game much more enjoyable or maybe not

play20:33

more enjoyable but more exciting you

play20:35

know what I mean and with all that said

play20:37

ladies and gentlemen that is going to do

play20:39

it for me today those are 20 plus

play20:41

vanilla friendly mods SL resource packs

play20:44

SL shers SL dat packs that I use on a

play20:47

daily basis and I kind of made this

play20:49

video just so I can send people to it

play20:51

whenever I get questions in my comment

play20:52

section so yeah I hope you guys did

play20:54

enjoy if I ever do end up installing

play20:57

more vanilla friendly mods uh which I

play20:59

probably most definitely will in the

play21:00

future I will probably eventually make a

play21:03

part two to this video but as it stands

play21:05

these are all of the vanilla friendly

play21:07

mods that I currently use in the game

play21:09

right now so thank you guys so much for

play21:11

watching I really do appreciate it and

play21:12

I'll see you guys next time
