practiced herself she practiced it
herself um but she also U accomplished
great things on that subject yes would
you tell us about it ws and and the
other things that she went over while
she was leaving
here well I can tell you back up a
little bit before she lived here is that
I I was never an Adventist being raised
up but I when I read her writings I
heard the voice of God and especially in
in health and when you read her writings
you're going to find that yes she she
took things from different people but
almost like the lord gave her what was
correct for instance and what wasn't
correct for instance uh James White
smoked a big cigar for help and uh also
uh U they thought one time that at that
age that they blood let right that's
going to heal you so she was shown by
the Lord just the right things for
health so that's why I love reading her
writings and U I want to share with you
a book that I
love um this is a book called Ministry
of
healing and I used to always in my life
go through a dark time and winter I I
love the sunshine I hate clouds I'm from
Phoenix Arizona in the desert and I
couldn't understand why would I get
depressed I started reading this book
and I read so much about how to stay
healthy mentally and physically during
my winter time um
so that's why I love Ministry of heing
especially the chapter on mind cure and
especially the chapter on
nature you can't read her books without
having her go back to Nature how
important we don't we don't worship
nature but we see the love of Christ in
nature right it's true so U like with
nature it says there's a chapter and
with god um even in the book steps of
Christ she starts out about nature and
very very important besides the Bible of
course um then she talks in here about
everything dealing with nature U the The
Physician the educated helping the poor
U home her mother and a lot of good
things she finished writing his this
book here right she finished in here
yeah if it's that shelf it was she
finished in here yeah um and she also um
have established a lot of umit
in clinics around here too right she did

girl of what fourth grade education uh
the Lord used her in an amazing way she
helped establish santen hospital that's
just uh a few blocks from here yes were
you up there yeah okay I love s the
hospital because I've had three
surgeries there so it helps save my life
um but besides St Luna hospital this is
what's amazing to me in
1904 and she she only been here for four
years she helped establish uh glendel
Adventist Hospital uh that's near
glendel at which is outside of Los
Angeles she helped establish the
Paradise Valley Hospital which is uh San
Diego same year right same year which
she was a busy lady and then then also
Linda University then there was a
hospital there l hospital Lind hospital
is probably known by every
California everyone knows L the hospital
a reference yeah yeah it's a very well
known and um it's it's I used to work
there for a while and as a chap so it's
it has a lot of uh good reputation in
America here she is dedicating that l in
the
hospital I tell people that
as famous as as Linda is all over the
world Mrs
White actually was the one who pushed to
have that
hospital in fact she uh if it wasn't if
it wasn't for Mrs White there would not
be a woman in the hospital because she
saw in Vision that besides all these
places we needed to have a sanitarian we
need to have a hospital in a city called
Redlands and uh she encouraged her
brother to uh buy a a hotel
up there it was on sale for $85,000 and
then it went down to 45 and she said by
buy it now she wanted the to buy this
place the land and not even to uh not
even to uh wait take to committee
and
have always good to follow the lord
that's probably the
yeah she followed the Lord wherever she
went that's why I
love all new to me when I
was have you been up to St l hospital we
passed by
