sorry it's been a long time since done a

video uh but first of all guys if you

what I'm about Mista 2 has been out for

quite some time now it was released on

the 31st of March uh 2020 uh so it has

had a lot of significant update since

then there's been a lot of patches a lot

of DLC and since the release of the game

uh there's been a huge following uh of

automobilista 2 the new and current Sim

Racers loving it for its outstanding

Graphics uh and not to mention the

graphics and VR and the VR performance

just Second To None uh it is the title

NVR uh which has the best performance in

my opinion and this is quite impressive

considering they're using a Madness

engine uh which is uh getting very dated

now also want to mention quickly guys

that um all these opinions are obviously

just my opinions and nobody else's so

not reflected by anyone or anything so

the big question we're going to answer

in this video is uh should you buy uh

automobile Isa 2 and is it for you so

we're going to start with the bad things

first and get those out the way cuz

there isn't a great deal really I'm

going to start with multiplayer uh

obviously multiplayer needs a a really

good overhaul uh be really nice to have

a really good dedicated service system

uh with some really good tools uh that

people can use uh websites like low fuel

Motorsport can use to set up uh proper

championship for automobilista 2 would

also breathe a lot more life back into

automobilista 2 not saying that it's uh

not a popular game at the moment it

definitely is uh but multiplayer lets it

down definitely needs a lot of work we

all know that so up until uh patch 1.5

onwards uh the physics have been very

hit and miss for a lot of people uh I've

always said my videos uh that I do enjoy

automobila 2 even when the physics were

not the best uh I still enjoyed Auto m

blissa 2 because I mainly play in VR and

Auto maissa 2 is exceptionally good in

VR uh so I I do like playing all Sims

for their different characteristics for

a lot of people physics was the big

problem for automobilista 2 and the the

great slidy feeling uh well really now

uh recently uh a lot of that has been

fixed I mean obviously there's people

out there that still don't agree with it

but for a good part of automobilista

life uh previously physics uh were a big

problem uh for a lot of people

definitely not saying that physics are

bad now because I really really enjoy

the physics now uh but it was a big

negative for a lot of people for the

most of automob List's life up until

patch 1.5 the next thing on my bad list

uh was Triple screen setup um it might

not be too bad for people that know how

to set triple screens um have been doing

it for a very long time uh but for the

non-te Savvy uh it is very awkward to

set up triple screens for the non-tech

Savvy um it is quite awkward to set them

up I mean it is definitely possible to

get it perfect uh but there are

different uh ways of going about it and

they don't make it easy uh it needs to

have some kind of tool uh in in game uh

in menus to set multi multiscreen up

properly

uh it could definitely uh be a lot

easier for people to set it up um it it

is okay uh but that is one of the bad

points uh it's one of the one of the

reasons why I put uh this on my bad list

is is just not easy for a lot of people

now guys we're going to go straight into

the good things and I'm going to start

by number one at the top of the list

graphics and VR Graphics um the and and

this is also with the excellent VR

performance I've always said this before

uh automobilista 2 really does have

outstanding VR Graphics uh this probably

one of the best VR Sim racing titles out

there still probably the best uh but the

graphics in Auto to even considering uh

it still uses the old dated Madness

engine uh the graphics and automobil to

just uh are very outstanding they have

uh good all round uh weather effects uh

new updated rain effects in the

windscream uh storm effects are

fantastic with the lightning and thunder

uh the sounds of the rain storm effects

in automobilista 2 are fantastic and

they've just gotten better when you hit

that lightning strike is just absolutely

uh mindblowing uh especially in VR when

you see that uh kind of makes you jump

and I guess it would make you jump if

you're driving a real race car uh

pouring down rain lightning bolts are

just going to make you on edge I reckon

they've updated the rain effects too um

so that plays a big part in the whole

Graphics package for automobilist

and that's why it's at the top of the

good list uh it's one of the really

great things about automobilista 2 a big

part of automobilista 2 um are for

people that love to play uh race against

AI uh and they have been tuning the AI

for quite a lot of years now uh and um

even up until the last patch version

1.5.5 point5 I believe it is uh even

more AI tuning has happened in this

patch uh makes the AI even better again

uh there have been issues with AI uh but

not the issues that you get with other

other SIM titles um overall the AI and

autom two uh Second To None it really is

good could also got a race Department

people have um modified AI uh for

different classes uh they're definitely

worth checking out guys if you check

them out um that that can tune the AI

even more and make it even more

interesting talk about false feedback as

well guys uh is one of the best aspects

of automobilista 2 uh even since

1.5 the the force feedback has really

blown my mind and I haven't even used it

my new uh DD plus yet Club sport still

waiting for that to come as we all are

uh but even on the CSL DD um and the

thrust Master which I used previously

and even the Logitech uh the force

feedback always seemed to feel quite

good with automobilist 2 uh but since

version 1.5 the order force feedback is

just outstanding the detail how you feel

now on your wheel doesn't even matter if

you got Logitech uh or fitech whatever

uh the details in in the force feedback

is just excellent and obviously it's

going to be better with direct drive

wheel I'm really looking forward to

getting that DD plus but um with the CSL

DD it's been fantastic I've really

enjoyed it but with patch 1.5 onwards uh

force feedback is even better again it

is excellent force speedback in ams2

allo my 2 here we track a lot of single

player races out there and I can

understand why because it uh really easy

just to set up a really really awesome

race the perfect race basically you

might be thinking about you know really

good uh place to race and what weather

you want to set it it's very easy to to

set up the AI uh set the weather uh the

time of day uh it's very very easy to

set up the perfect race and you can get

those perfect races I've done plenty of

videos of uh really good car track

combinations uh along with weather uh

and AI skill it it is very easy to set

up a really good AI race and that's one

of the big highlights with automobilist

to ams2 has a good selection of cars and

tracks uh their tracks have uh they have

a really excellent selection of tracks

now especially with uh the new lemon

track uh it's probably one of the best

lemons out there in the Sim racing uh

it's fantastic it's just got that um

well factor that everybody loves in

racing um very high speed uh long

straights and uh fast corners but ams2

has a lot of really really good tracks

and some of my favorite tracks in Sim

racing uh Red Bull Ring is one of my

favorites in

automobilista uh looks really fantastic

with the excellent Graphics I love it um

a lot of these tracks you know in the

late afternoon you know the sun's

setting and you got the sun in your eyes

I mean even though that bothers your

eyes it still just looks fantastic in in

the Sim it's one of the highlights

there's also um fairly good mod support

Now with automobilista uh it used to be

a bit of a pain uh to add mods to the

game it was very hard but now with

someone's created the content manager

makes it very easy to install mods to

automob blister uh and they're coming

out thick and fast as cars and tracks

out there guys I've um done videos on a

few of them some of them are absolutely

outstanding so the big question is guys

should you buy it well the absolute

answer is going to be yes especially if

you like uh a lot more single player

racing uh if you like racing in VR uh

with great force feedback and ongoing

updates bringing uh far greater content

vehicle physics tracks um it's all going

up in the world with that auto blissa

too so you it's definitely worth buying

uh it's just great fun to set up a race

do whatever you want jump in a car and

just drive race and have fun anyway guys
