bringing you guys yet another probably
not bait build but you never know type
of thing basically I'm going to tell you
guys what my least start plan is
and talk about what I actually plan on
doing throughout the entire like League
start step by step my entire plan it's
gone pretty well last couple leagues but
this one this one might be a little
spicy so my plan this time around is to
play lead Gladiator that's not the spicy
part bleed Gladiator
retaliation the retaliation is a new
type of gemm which requires you to well
it has different requirements but one of
them the one I'm going to use requires
you to get hit and block on block and
you have to use the shield so you block
and then your retaliation skill becomes
usable it has a cool down you can't
always use it when you want to but
there's a lot of ways on the tree to
make it usable for longer and chance to
not consume the charge we'll get to that
later you have to be getting hit and
then you do big damage burst big damage
ability and hopefully it does really
good bled damage now the skill I'm
looking at specifically is eviscerate
it's not in pu yet so we're mostly
looking at thunder thunder is a
placeholder I probably will actually use
Thunder for clearing though assuming the
retaliation skills aren't always up we
have to see how that plays out you might
not even need a clearing skill there's a
lot of things that kind of like chain
your retaliation skills together you
might just be clearing with like Shield
charge and just chaining your
retaliation skills that might be the
place though but going into it I'm
assuming that you probably want some
sort of like clear skill the one I
decided on is sunder you could probably
play Bladestorm or earthquake as well
and I'm taking a step further and I'm
going to try a level with it in the
campaign I'll go through the entire
leveling trees there's a lot of trees I
made an entire leveling tree for two
hand Thunder two hand Thunder will
probably be the safest way to level and
I made my own like what I'm doing
specifically down here this is going to
be potentially risky is the way I'll put
it the twoand Thunder will be very safe
though this is just the way most people
level melee characters now bleed has
this new mechanic called aggravated
aggravated is basically bleeding that's
doing damage as though the target is
moving so Olden staring Arrow built into
Gladiator
flash on the tree bad is going to be
very interesting this league and most
builds will not be going Crimson dance
most builds will be scaling one bleed
and trying to make it as high as
possible this does mean we're going to
be attacking kind of slowly it won't be
too bad like we'll be Shield charging
around super fast Shield charge is very
fast and yeah it's occasionally you'll
be popping your big retali skill I think
the play will actually be pretty fast we
have to see how it plays out though not
too worried about the attack great that
is something to keep in mind though um
and yeah the new Gladiator just gets
easily cat block you get C block with
like super little points on a tree it's
like I can show you real quick actually
let's say we're in like cruel lab am my
cruel lab po level 58 I have 68 62 block
I'm capped block and almost C still
block at 58 this is just what the uh the
new nodes they got buffed up quite a
quite a bit actually you have a lot more
block chance on the tree vers talk
combat is actually quite a bit better
now minus 10% Max block instead I think
it used to be minus 25% or minus 20 they
made it quite a bit
better I'm actually kind of impressed
with how much block you can get early on
now especially and this is without the
Gladiator node there's another Gladiator
node that gives you 50% block while
you're wearing a shield which is quite
nice as well anyways we have some
clusters setups here clusters would be
pretty nice for building your gratuitous
violence um and on bossing so I'm
probably going to end up dropping rudus
for bossing and running War
patrici this is a new gladi node you
deal 1% more damage per second you've
been in the presence of a unique enemy
this is crazy especially for leak
starting and especially for Budget
characters it's very strong I think
it'll be nice for Pinnacle bosses I do
not think you'll be taking this for
mapping this will have limited use for
mapping your two silence is definitely
the play there for Ubers he 17s
Pinnacles just hard content like that I
can see War retri being very strong
though and yeah this is the tree here um
we actually don't really have that many
retaliation nodes we have a lot of trees
by the way you want to take a look at
the Pu there's leveling trees like I
said before for the Sunder leveling with
retaliation and then like different
endgame setups cluster noncluster more
damage basically dropping
Marauder I'll go through some of these
real quick so this is what your tree is
going to look like with Uber lb as you
can see on the tree I only have a couple
retaliation skill notes allocated
currently the notes at the bottom might
end up being really good prob T gives
you increased speed with retaliation
skills I don't really know how good this
is without actually playing it these
might be points you want to pick up
later though CDR is also potentially
really strong to stack there's a new gem
which works the retaliation skills which
has a lot more CDR and it'll make it so
you can use them more often now for
bleed you really just want one really
big hit but having more chances to apply
a big bleed because the damage range is
pretty large especially if using
volatility which I probably won't but
I'll probably test it out volatility and
Risa will end up being it's going to be
a thing where you want to have as many
retaliates as possible having CDR might
end up being the way to go for that I
will probably be using the new retaliate
gy just because 80% it's like 88%
CDR and just it yeah it's going to be
really good I think and I think it gives
you more duration or more or more time
to like use the retaliate skull as well
on the gym looks very strong I'll
probably be using it in my four or five
link um but yeah that being said I have
a couple nodes on the tree there is 60
AOE passive which I mean AOE is good you
can get 40 AOE here now as well just for
everything but the passives and
masteries for retaliations do seem
really strong 80% duration of ailments
inflicted by retaliation skills this is
very solid I'm going to pick up as soon
as possible probably over here there's
also a couple other ones like 10% chance
when you use retaliation skill for a
different one to become
useful this is very interesting I
probably actually rotate crushing fists
and invis state just to potentially get
more up time on it SL close speed we'll
test them out and see how it looks
definitely something to consider you
definitely want to take measure
retaliation if you're if you're actually
specked into retaliation skills early on
the thing is you're not really going to
have JGA technique if you're doing it
this way Dragon technique would be
really strong normally because aggravate
on this the initial bleed you have to
other ways to aggravate like on the tree
you have 10% chance here on hit and you
have vulnerability with quality as 10%
we might end up having to use something
like Bladestorm to trigger or aggravate
there is a passive though I I want you
guys to take a look at though it is
attack hits which aggravate any bleeding
targets which are older than 4 seconds
this is potentially really strong for
bossing or just in during the campaign
on like bosses if they not dying super
fast you take this and you just make the
duration higher we have 50% duration
here we have 80% duration here this
means our bleed Baseline on a vate will
be about 12 seconds 13 seconds not
including any any faster bleed we have
this will be pretty solid up time on
this as well for the
aggravate this node is actually
underrated I think but there's really no
way to fit it into our current build
unless you want to drop Lucky Block
which definitely don't want to do that I
think it's really strong it's giving us
uh we can see on P here it's like 23%
effective block so block the thing is
you do have to block to get the lucky
block so you want your like your initial
block to be pretty high as
well uh we did Squeeze In suppression
and endurance charges you guys are not
aware endurance charges are quite good
now they give you la mitigation on top
of fiz mitigation almost every build is
stacking them apparently in the
we are anointing this endurance charge
we might end up anointing the
retaliation secret node though which is
basically just uh worst version of
gladiator node so we'd have 70% chance
for the uh retaliation skills to remain
useable this basically means you have a
chance like to spam it if you want to
you get lucky which is pretty nice we'll
have to see how it plays out might not
need this node we might go for it later
I'll definitely do some testing
though I guess I should talk about how
I'm going to level the character like I
mentioned before there is a couple ways
to level the safest way is suer I'll
quickly look at the Thunder tree but
it's just a generic th tree the only
thing is we are going bleed so I take
the bleed noes early on and we're taking
Spirit of War I do recommend this
actually the five Mana per second
Mastery you can get it like level 14 or
something this will solve all of your
Mana problems you'll have Mana Lee
you'll have reduced Mana cost it'll be
insane you won't really even have to use
a Mana pot for a while I think
end game we are actually going blood
magic I didn't really talk about that
but that's our plan end game it's just
because the termination got nerfed and
all we really need is pride anyways and
we can still run Vitality off our life
so it just seems like a good idea to go
blood magic and save a couple points and
only run one or instead we're going to
be pretty gemm starved running multiple
retaliation skills and like clear skills
so this makes a lot of sense I think to
go blood
magic the opportunity cost is pretty
high to not go blood magic
and there isn't really any other great
ores other than termination anyways so
yeah so we're leveling it's like a
generic tree I did end up going
Onslaught early on in this tree here
they they moved Hatchet Master it's
quite a bit further over to the right
here so there is a little bit of
traveling around to get this this is
what I'm rushing though pretty much on
the th
tree and yeah I guess let's just talk
about the labs my current plan going
into it is normal lab will be either
gurus violence or measure retaliation
you're playing ther
to silence you're playing retaliation
which I'll talk about in a bit here you
get the meas retaliation for sure and
then second lab if you're playing ther
jagga technique will be very strong and
then Merk lab now you should be going
measure retaliation by Merk lab and Uber
lab I just Dro like drag technique at
that point I'll show you guys some
footage of my shield run I did I did
Shield stuff till like level
40 and I did a sun run to like level 40
I basically wanted to see how a shield
build like shield crush SL oneand ther
would do early on before the Buffs and
before retaliation just to see if I
would enjoy the play style and I was
actually really surprised Shield charge
was one-shotting most of the mobs with
my tree and shield crush was actually
quite a bit more damage than I
expected so I actually think I'll be
going for the retaliation tree early on
this is a lot riskier than Sunder my
plan is to either use spitting steel or
shield crush from level one and then put
a shield on right away you get crushing
fist to level four that's the first
retaliation skill you get now the only
thing is you probably aren't going to
proc retaliation very often early on so
our main goal for leveling this way is
to get as much block as possible I am
taking Spirit of warell because Mana
will be annoying and I am taking some
bleed nodes man to bleed will help a lot
for shield charge and your main attack
skill now the cool thing about Vis is it
has 100% chance to bleed so you don't
necessarily need for that but we do want
the aggravate and it is always nice for
Shi charge to bleed because basically
will one shot trash mobs while leveling
those are the goals while leveling here
it's 23 tree this is normal lab slash a
little bit higher than normal lab we
take measure
retaliation and tuso now it is actually
important to note that when you block an
attack you get stunned based on how much
how the duration of like if the hit
actually did damage you so for example
if you get like a Savage hit and you get
stunned for like 4 seconds or whatever
this is super long duration if you block
that hit you'll still get stunned for
the same duration the unwavering becomes
really strong in game and early on block
recovery becomes really strong otherwise
you get sun locked by just blocking and
it's pretty annoying so these ns are
actually pretty important and they also
have life on block which is very strong
and of course we get Hatcher Master for
Onslaught the ax Master for bleeding
faster endurance charge on block
all this good stuff we're going to have
cat Block in The Campaign which is crazy
cat block and solock at 58 this is kind
of ridiculous honestly and you'll be
really tanky it'll be a lot tankier than
normal I do take as the mountain early
on this is before we get determined
Survivor because this is just a bunch of
extra block here which will help us when
you get determined Survivor you end up
dropping this point you can eventually
drop a couple of these points and
eventually I do drop tuso and go and
wafering for the tanky tree that's just
because we we want Max anyways and more
life and Marauder playing softcore at
the end game will end up dropping all
that stuff though and just getting
clusters instead and then you still want
to rely on this Locker cover here which
everything I want to talk about the tree
um there's a lot of different variations
here just mapping bossing cluster setup
both leveling trees a lot to take in if
you want to take a look I spent a lot of
time in this um yep have some notes here
like I said we are using retaliation for
for sing Target so it will be the six
link instead of suer I have the
currently in the links is
sunder but it's just cuz it's not pu yet
I will update the P whenever they get
put in and War Banner War Banner is a
bit different now it has this thing
called Valor which you stack up by
attacking enemies and killing
enemies and you basically just pop it on
bosses when you get 50 saacks and it'll
give you like a big damage buff see like
the damage here I'll take it off it's
just a bunch of more damage like more
his damage so basically you you fight a
boss you get 50 sacks you get your vist
rate up you pop War Banner pop your vist
rate make sure the boss is cursed and
hopefully um V will do probably about
over double Center so you'll have like a
40 million bleed damage attack and then
you just run around in circles when the
mob just dies so the damage looks a
little bit lower in P but bleeds always
kind of uh not the full story because
you don't really have to be attacking
right you have full damage up
time get that one big bleed you don't
really have to be hitting anymore a lot
of builds have like way higher damage or
DPS but they have to have full up time
and they have to have all the Buffs up
bade will be really consistent at the
very least I'm not too worried about the
damage p7s might need clusters and like
really good gear but we'll we'll see how
it plans out I'm I think a vis will do
really good damage I'm excited and this
tree is very tanky like the way I built
it for mapping was kind of for hardcore
so we have all the endurance charges we
have suppression that block and cell
block pretty good HP and good armor it's
going to be tanky it's going to be
really tanky plus you have really good
close speed with the gratuitous violence
which is super STIs thing overall I I
think this will be a strong Le starter
but like I don't want to bait people
into it or anything I'm just you
know it's retaliation skills you have to
get hit you have to block to use your
big skill we'll see how it plays out it
might be a bit
clunky I'm excited though I think it'll
be good yeah that's my game plan going

everybody into a bad build that that
would never happen end up good I promise
