Transcripts
how many clients would you say you take
on and how do you manage multiple
clients at a time
some clients will prefer that you don't
take on any other jobs and so it's
always good to be honest with them and
for them to be honest with you
but the thing for me because i know i'm
not able to handle uh 40 hours a week or
something like that i look for jobs that
are like 5 hours a week maximum or 10
hours a week maximum and how i choose my
clients is dependent on the job so how i
start is i start one by one so i started
with one client who just needed me to
transcribe work and subscribing i'd
probably take probably a day out of a
week or two days out of the week and
transcribe then i realized actually i
have three more days where i'm doing
nothing so i can get on another client
and so i apply and look for other
clients and when i find one who probably
says i need someone to probably help me
schedule meetings and check my calendar
and just respond on behalf of five hours
a week i'm like okay yes i take it on
and i realize okay this is something i
can handle and i just keep on adding
slowly by slowly until i know i have
enough one to sustain me and pay my
bills monthly but also not to strain me
especially because of my illness if i do
too much i'm down for a whole month or
something
