Outlines
🔧 CIC Cockpit Integrations Overview
The script introduces the Integrations page of CIC Cockpit, a platform for managing data flows, reference tables, and downloading CIC Studio. CIC Studio is a data transformation tool for cloud-based data processing, with new versions automatically available to tenants. Reference tables are essential for transformation processing, allowing for the conversion of incoming values into system-compatible ones. These tables can be viewed and modified in the CIC Cockpit and are referenced in CIC Studio for lookups. The speaker demonstrates how to view and interact with reference tables, including adding new entries. Data flows are explained as connections between endpoints for unidirectional data transfer, with the script detailing how to view and manage these flows, including setting up schedules and creating new data flows.
📅 Creating and Managing Data Flows
This paragraph delves into the process of creating a new data flow in the Integrations page. The user is guided through naming the data flow, selecting endpoints, and choosing a schedule for data transfer. The example given involves setting up a data flow from an 'agent inbox' to the 'Cleo portal'. The script explains how to add the data flow to a schedule, with options ranging from minutely to monthly, and the importance of selecting the correct time zone. It also covers how to save the new data flow and provides an overview of deleting data flows when they are no longer needed. The paragraph concludes with a summary of the Integrations page's functionalities and a prompt to visit the Solution Center for more information.

let's take a look at the Integrations
page of cic
cockpit the Integrations page allows you
to create data
flows work with reference
tables and download cic
Studio let's start with Studio
download the cic studio is a data
transformation tool you'll need for
transforming data in the
cloud when you click the studio
download you'll see the latest version
available for
download new versions will automatically
be available in your tenant as they are
released to download the studio you
would simply click the download
button let's move on to reference tables
reference tables are are used during
transformation processing to convert
incoming values into values your system
can use by defining your table in a
specific way you can also make it
available for viewing and modification
in the cic
cockpit these tables are referenced from
cic Studio to perform lookups so these
tables have been created all the
configuration has been done in C cic
studio and the projects that they're in
in cic studio have been deployed out to
the server so I can see my reference
tables here I can actually click on a
reference
table I can click on the reference table
here to see information about this
particular reference table so this one
if I click the question mark next to the
name it tells me that this table is to
view customer information
I can see the columns and rows in this
reference
table and if I wanted to I can make a
new entry in this reference table as
well I'm going to click back on the
reference tables sub page to see the
other reference tables that are out here
I can see one called error
codes this is pretty valuable again if I
look at the information about this
reference table it's telling me that
this is to view error codes of
transformation so if I would happen to
get this code I would know that the
error is a wrong ship date whereas this
code is an incorrect
discount the
p004 error means that it's a duplicate
PO number and again I can delete rows or
edit rows right out here in cic cockpit
I can add a new entry if I wanted to
just by clicking that add row
button let's move on to data flows a
data flow connects two endpoints
enabling data transfer between them in a
single
Direction the data flow page displays
information about each data flow in your
cic
system a data flow consists of a from
endpoint and a two endpoint so if I
click on a
particular data flow let's just click on
this one I can see my from endpoint is
the Cleo
portal and my two endpoint is
transformation so I'm sending something
from Cleo portal to be transformed
whereas let's take a look at another
endpoint let's take a look at this state
of
flow the from is a sample
endpoint the two is cleop Portal so I'm
sending something from a sample endpoint
to cleop portal and anything that's
already out here I'll be able to see so
any kind of advanced commands I would
need to do I can can do right from here
if I wanted
to if a particular data flow needed to
be on a schedule this one looks like
it's on a schedule of every minute I can
take a look at that schedule I can
change it if I want it to right from
within this data flow
menu so let's go ahead and create a new
data flow I'm simply going to click the
add data flow button to open a new data
flow
page I want to name my data flow for
identification throughout the system I
know I'm going to be deleting this so
I'm just going to call
this heli
demo data
flow I can select a from
endpoint so maybe I'm getting something
from our agent inbox so I'm going to
select that by clicking it and then
clicking the select button
and then my
two end point I'm going to click Cleo
portal I'm going to send that to Cleo
portal and I'll need to select a folder
uploads not available it would be
download on the two
side if I wanted to I can add this to a
schedule again I can do it by minute
hourly daily
um you can do it every day or every
working day at a specific time
weekly monthly or you can create your
own Advanced
schedule again your time zone is up here
and it can be selected we
are currently in this time zone so I'm
going to let that
selected but I'm not going to add it to
a schedule just yet so I'm going to
unclick that to turn that schedule
off then I would save this data
flow and I should see it out here if I'm
finished with the data flow and I no
longer need it maybe I just set it up to
do some data movement testing I can
click on the checkbox next to my data
flow and then click the trash icon in
the upper right hand corner and that's
going to delete my data
flow in summary the Integrations page is
where you download
Studio View and maintain reference
tables and configure and maintain your
data
flows for more in information about any
