hello my name is robert with occupancy
boost
i wanted to give you guys a quick tip on
corporate lodging
clc very important channel i know how
important it is for
for many of the hotels out there that
are involved with it it's a consistent
stream of business
and it's even more important now that
you get business from this channel
uh just because of the pandemic and all
the competition that uh
is involved with clc now there's a lot
of hotel probably more hotels than ever
are now part of the clc program because
of the pandemic they've lost a lot of
their corporate business they've lost a
lot of their leisure business so they're
trying to make it up in a little bit
lower rated business
out like contract business that clc
offers and actually clc has actually
increased the amount of volume that
they're producing in the united states
right now so i'm going to show you guys
a quick
tip that's often overlooked by hotels
uh very very important it's going to
help you increase your sale
sales on clc
okay well if you have a clc account
you're going to log in
you're going to look at a screen like
this to log in and then it's going to
take you to another screen to log in
again just to verify your information
and then once you log in you're going to
get to this page right here this is
your account page basically it's your
extranet for clc it's where you go to
pay your bills
all that good stuff if you go down here
to this section here my account this is
often overlooked excuse me by most
hotels
and the the hotel information now what
let me let me click on this hotel here
if you go to this page
a lot of hotels that we've helped out or
we're helping out partnered with
that are on sale excuse me they're on
clc they leave they don't realize this
page is here and they leave this
information blank
clc is not going to fill out this
information for you all they're going to
do is they're going to get you to sign a
contract
they're going to display you on their
website but you're not going to be
your website you're listing on your
website's not going to have all your
information in there unless this
information
is filled up by the by you by the hotel
and a lot of like i said a lot of hotels
overlook this i'd say probably eight out
of the ten hotels that we work with
overlook this information and don't have
this filled out
and one really really it's very simple
information by the way one really
really important part of this is a semi
truck parking
now unless you go in here and fill this
out and if your hotel has semi truck
parking
you've got to answer these questions
we've had we have hotels that we work
with
that are members with clc and we've gone
on here
and they have room to park semis but
they don't have it listed
in their hotel information section they
didn't they didn't check it off and they
didn't list it
so on clc they're not listed as a hotel
that's got semi-truck parking
this is a really really important uh
feature
that you if you have it you need to
advertise it to these folks that are
booking on clc
um if not you know they're not going to
pick your hotel because most of the
people
probably over 50 percent of the people
with clc that are booking rooms
want to park a semi so you're missing
out on a lot of business if you don't
have this checked and there's a lot of
information on here too
uh but most of us just clicking boxes
i'm not gonna get into it right now
but i hope this helped you guys if you
got any questions feel free to leave
them
in the comment section and like like
this video if i helped you
and please subscribe to us as we got a
lot more videos coming out
to help you hotel owners and operators
uh succeed and grow your occupancy thank
you
