Transcripts
welcome i'm the deadwood jedi this is
going to be another rage shadow legends
video and today we are looking at
another hellcat team i've gotten a lot
of requests from you guys looking to see
how helicat works with particular
champions i'm gonna try and get those
out for you in the next week or so here
takes me some time i'm not on test
server anymore so i have to actually
build these myself but i will try to get
some more of the variations of using
hellcat on your teams for you guys with
various champions the one i want to look
at today though is one a lot of you have
been asking about and it's ninja and
there's a great reason why people like
to use ninja in their teams he's an
amazing damage dealer amazing damage
dealer may be the best for all of clan
boss the hard part of course is he has a
turn meter boost on his a1 skill so if
you don't make adjustments for it it's
going to throw things off so we are
going to do the slow hellcat team the
basic hellcat team but this is obviously
going to be the ninja hellcat because
we're going to use ninja in this team
and in order to do that we have to make
a couple small adjustments to his kit in
order for it to work but these are
things you guys always got to remember
if you're going to use champions like
ninja champions with the turn meter
boost you're gonna have to build that
team specifically around them it's very
rare that you can just drop you know
plug and play drag and drop those
champions into these types of teams so
if ever you run across the champion that
is any kind of turn meter or speed boost
make sure that it's talking specifically
on the tune about using them or that you
definitely double checking the
calculator to see if it would work at
all don't just go up to speeds on my
video it's really important that you
guys take the time and go visit my
website w deadwood jedi.com right you
got to go there you got to see the speed
tune and you got to use the calculator
just to make sure the thing works it's
going to save you a lot of time headache
and silver so i just want to throw that
out there for you guys and i have to
give a big shout out to thiago titan my
clanmate for letting me get on his
account he built this team showed it to
me i was like perfect i definitely
needed to show one of these i didn't
want to have to build one myself though
i was probably going to at some point um
and so this just saved me a lot of time
and effort and i'm able to get this
video out to you guys that much sooner
so wins all around and then of course
before we jump in i do want to remind
you guys if you don't mind if you have
the time please go ahead hit that
subscribe button hit that notification
bell about half of you watch my videos
aren't subscribed and that is the
easiest way to support the channel and
it doesn't cost you a dime so definitely
if you can do that it makes a big
difference to the work that i do here
and of course if you enjoyed today's
music we do have that soundstripe link
down below in the pin comment and
description of this video and again
check out the website you're going to
like the stuff that we have on there so
let's go ahead and look at the team
setup how it's built and then we'll go
ahead and jump into the run
so let's start off by looking at hellcat
obviously the linchpin of this team
making us unkillable blocking all the
damage that we're gonna take either with
the block damage buff or with the
massive shield that he places and
essential part of this team we have
hellcat going at 254 speed and the range
is pretty tight like 254 to 257 this is
the big difference between this build
the ninja hellcat and the slow hellcat
team is that speed of hellcat himself
that's pretty much the only change here
right um but gonna be fantastic for this
comp we have enough accuracy we have
enough crit damage and crit rate to get
good damage out of them nothing really
crazy going on with the sets or the
masteries we're just trying to do as
much damage as we can and keep everybody
alive
and then of course we have the cleanser
of this comp the one keeping us affinity
friendly and i'm talking about doom
priests now doomfreeze is going very
fast for this comp at 186 feet it's
actually not really fast speed but in
this comp going to be one of the fastest
champions and will be going at the top
of the turn order generally we'll be
able to cleanse the stun and the
affinity debuff on all of your champions
for the entirety of the fight and then
we have a champion i know so many of you
are going to be excited about i'm
talking about dark kale one of the very
nice doom tower champions here who can
do a lot of damage put up a lot of
poisons and activate a lot of poisons
and in this team it's going to be a
really nice champion to bring in now as
far as his speed goes he's going at 177
speed we have good crit rate damage
accuracy all that stuff just like i was
talking about is all prevalent here in
dark kale the sets aren't really going
to matter there's no relentless going on
here we don't need toxic sets or
anything like that he's going to be
really good just with some general
general sets mixed sets are going to be
fine with him as well now of course if
we want to utilize dark kale we've got
to make sure that we're bringing in
enough poisons so that we're not
actually so we're not you know dropping
poisons on the boss himself and so we
have frozen banshee in the team and
frozen banshee is going to work
perfectly with dark hail because dark
kale will place that poison sensitivity
allowing frozen banshee just to place
poisons every single turn on every
single attack you can see the speed 172
definitely going slowest in the comp and
this is where you want to put a block
debuff champion like an underpriest
brogni like a tattoo or hide would go
perfectly into this slot right here um
those will work brilliantly right quite
frankly now you can see the accuracy on
frozen banshee 283 really nice probably
overkill we have crit rate we have crit
damage again overkill but we'll take it
because what why not we're going
unkillable let's build it up if we can
but of course this is the ninja hellcat
team so we have to talk about ninja one
of the strongest damage dealers in all
of raid across any spectrum just an
absolute beast of a champion especially
on clan boss now you can see here we've
got
you know going 173 speed so the key with
ninja you got to be faster than the
slowest champion but you can't be
faster than i think 176 speed so it's
kind of a tight window to make this work
but what's going to happen is you're
going to be able to make sure that that
turn meter boost on the a1 isn't going
to be enough so that he goes faster than
your cleanser he'll be able to stay in
sync and won't throw your team off at
all that's really important we have
enough accuracy for the hp burn to land
and activate that's important and of
course we have good crit rate and crit
damage as well the other thing that you
really have to pay attention to when it
comes to ninja
is making sure that we prioritize the
skills right we have to have the a3 the
first priority the a2 the second
priority because ninja likes to use the
a2 skill first but it's on a different
cooldown than the a3 alright that gets
reduced in the cool down duration what
that means is that if we're going at a
4-3 ratio if we're going out a one-win
ratio the timing of the skills is gonna
be kind of all over the place and we
need that terminator boost to be regular
so that we can stay in sync if we know
when it's happening and it happens there
every single time then we can build the
team around it which is what we've done
here so that's going to be really really
important you do have to use the skill
priority for your champions but that's
the champions that's the setup that's
the gear let's go ahead and look at the
run
so let's go ahead and jump in the run
here uh this is gonna work on full auto
we don't really have to do anything to
change it it's gonna work just off the
jump because we do have those skills
prioritized right we're starting with
that a3 ability from uh from helicat and
then we're gonna follow it up with the
a2 after to make sure we have that
massive shield just right there for the
stun itself and that's gonna keep this
team working now the great part about
this team and this is one of the reasons
why i love the slow hellcat is it's real
easy to be affinity friendly doom priest
is a great champion for this she gives
you an attack up buff which is massive
um definitely something i recommend
right so you can bring in doom priest
make your team stronger and cleanse all
the debuffs which it's just the simplest
way to do it you can also use a block
debuff champion like i was saying
earlier like it's a tour rime height or
an underpriest brockney will work great
and you'll notice here that because of
the cleanse we're actually able to
take the stun as well it's not going to
affect our timing of our skills if that
isn't an issue if you don't have a doom
priest if you don't have a brony or a
two-term block debuff champion you can
absolutely get away with using someone
like a mausoleum mage or using a
grizzled yarl who has a one turn block
debuff on a three-turn cooldown just
make sure to prioritize that skill
and then basically what you need to do
is you need to make sure that whoever's
taking the stun can lose that turn right
so in this team ninja you don't want to
take that stun right definitely can't
take it now because we're cleansing
doesn't matter ninja can take it just
fine won't be an issue even uh uh
hellcat can take it just fine it's not
an issue in fact hellcat is the stun
target in this team and because we have
doom priests going first being able to
cleanse that's not going to be a problem
right um but there are adjustments and
you have to be aware of how that stun
works
on nightmare
doom priests will not be going ahead of
tatura all the time to cleanse the stun
so on nightmare we either need to block
that debuff or make sure the stun goes
to somebody else that's gonna be crucial
and we could do that right we have uh
three blue affinity champions in here if
we made one of them green and put them
in the lead instead of hellcat they
would be taking the stun instead that
would allow us to stay affinity friendly
we would still be able to cleanse
and so there are some adjustments that
you're going to need to make depending
on the stun targeting how you want to
deal with that but there is a lot of
flexibility with it right the key thing
is we're not dying to it we can still
you know whether we tank the stun or
whether we block that debuff or whether
we cleanse it that's a choice but the
big thing is that we're not dying to it
the other big thing is making sure that
we're affinity friendly so using a
cleanser to cleanse the affinity debuffs
or using a block debuff champion to just
not let them land either those are
wonderful options and much more
important i think than even worrying
about the stun in that case um but
what's interesting about this team right
like i said we have tatura taking the
stun here and so if we want to make this
you know if we wanted to you know change
that up or if we're going against a bad
affinity when doom precision works we do
need to bring in that block debuff
champion or a different stun target
but everybody's going to be in great
shape here you can see we're getting
plenty of debuffs out there this is
where i think using kale and frozen
banshee together is a wonderful option
i'm not a big fan as many of you know of
champions like dark kale or like venom
age who will burn the d buffs early
right he'll activate those poisons or
those hp burns early i'm not usually a
fan because we actually struggle more
often than not that to fill up the
debuff bar of the clan ball so you can
see we dropped down a lot but the good
thing about dark kale is he puts up
three points the good thing about frozen
band she's she's putting up two every
turn so it's not actually that hard for
us to get that back up they make for a
really nice combination and if you're
going to use a venomage or you're going
to use a dark kill i highly recommend
using someone
like frozen banshee that doesn't have to
be her but someone like that who's going
to put up a lot of poisons to do it
consistently
but you can see we do really good damage
the gear is solid everybody is built
well but it's not insane stats no one's
got 300 crit damage hellcat i think only
has 5200 attack i don't even think
anybody or fits you on a defense i don't
think anybody on this team has over 4500
attack even um these are especially when
you consider the vault guardians and you
know the possible you know geared sets
that are out there these aren't crazy
crazy numbers i'm not saying everybody
can get there but they're pretty
reasonable and we're still doing over a
million damage per turn really
remarkable team and this is why it's so
good when you bring in four damage
dealers it makes for a very fun comp and
a very damage heavy one even when you're
going slow even without fantastic gear
on you can still probably two key pretty
easily so this is fun i'm glad again we
get to bring in some new champions we
get to see ninja in this team and i know
a lot of you been asking about that so
let's go ahead jump towards the end of
this run we'll let the play you can see
the final results and we'll talk about
the team afterwards
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Applause]
there you go 56 million that's a really
good result uh i'd be really happy with
that if that was my account i know that
thiago is really happy with this on his
account so that's a really great result
i mean really smart team very simple
really you know we just made small
adjustments to allow ninja to be in the
team and it worked um really great so i
absolutely love this uh i think this is
really great if you want to use somebody
like a roche card the tower and a skull
crusher you can absolutely do that in
this team with these speeds just put you
know skull crusher in for frozen banshee
put tower in for hellcat and that would
work just as well right the system works
the same because the cooldowns are the
same the speeds are the same that's not
really going to change anything and so
this is how we would do it utilizing
ninja so that's ninja in the clan boss
team that's the ninja hellcat right
there i think it's a pretty awesome team
quite frankly and very simple to do so
if you have an engine you're really
trying to use them for clam bus this can
be a great option now of course you
realize dark kale did sit 13 million
frozen banshee did 17. you can get away
without you don't need a ninja just a
tukey right you're gonna get plenty from
doom priest and hellcat you can really
bring in a war boy if you wanted to and
actually do a two key damage with those
other four champions and that's what's
so beautiful about this kind of a team
is the better the champions the better
the gear you can easily do a one key not
easily easily is a little bit of a hard
statement but you can definitely do a
one key team with this kind of setup at
these really low speeds which is pretty
remarkable so it's a fun team i
definitely encourage you guys to try to
build one of these hellcat teams this
run took 10 minutes which is pretty fast
i'm sure we can get some one key 10
minute teams out there that's something
i'm probably going to be looking to do
at some point i think i am going to end
up building one of these for myself here
as well just to kind of see what i can
do with it after i get a few different
builds up for you guys but yeah
hopefully you guys enjoyed this uh i'm
definitely enjoying hellcat enjoying
doing these builds and i'm glad you guys
are enjoying it as well so if you have a
moment go ahead and hit that subscribe
until next we meet
on the deadwood jedi
