locations in game without just running

around

luckily the official interactive map

does list where to find each kind of

fish and thus you'll know where the

fishing locations are i'm going to cover

these spots for the fish you need to get

the catch pole arm and its refinement i

fishing locations you're going to need

those other fish types to trade in for

the area specific fishing rods which

make fishing easier when used in those

corresponding regions

let's start with the rime angelfish

which is only in one location apparently

you will need to take a boat to the

shipwreck south of the cougar encampment

in this electrified water will be the

rhyming angelfish you're gonna need to

deal with the electro bismage and the

ice slimes if they bother you you then

need to wait till night time which is

when these fish will appear you need

false worm bait to catch these and they

are struggle a lot you need six rhyming

angelfish to get to catch parm initially

and then 12 more for the max to find for

the kois and pufferfish these don't

necessarily overlap but if you're gonna

refine the catch you might as well farm

both at the same time we'll just go down

the line from monster to leeway and then

inazuma both the koi and the puffer fish

bite on the fake fly bait so that's

convenient if you need horsetail which

is used for this bait you can buy 10

from the booboo pharmacy every three

days you also need sakura balloon from

inazuma

10 of each will make 100 fake fly bait

which means 100 fish to catch since you

don't lose bait unless you hug a fish

find your own way to these areas fishing

spots are designated by the big ripples

in the water which are quite visible if

off fishing is really generous and

really nothing and you will see fish

ignore certain bait types if you can't

catch them with it you just need to

experiment with the different baits to

see which types of fish bites each one

for the fish response you should be

aware that there are only certain fish

that appear during the day or during the

night generally speaking though you

should just catch everything in the day

then change time to night and catch

whatever spawns then do this for every

fishing spot now while fishing is pretty

simple there is a respawn time of

apparently three days for each location

from fishing all these spots for the

catch i was able to get almost half of

the needed fish for the porn but i

believe there is also rng on what fish

show up or how many of that fish type

are in the area

this means it may take up to three

respawns of fish to get the weapon so

for the average player this is going to

take a bit of time now people have

gotten the catch on day one because you

can fish in co-op if you have some nice

friends or old accounts you can improve

your fishing intake however the catch is

looking like an insanely good free

weapon so a lot of players are gonna

want those fish for themselves i also

admit fishing does take a bit of time so

don't burn yourself out for some other

fishing tips you can see when an

ornamental fish is in the area these are

actually counted differently and you

can't use them for exchanging for the

catch if you see a blue glow above the

ripple in the water that means an

ornamental fish is there and when you

see a fish jumping out of the water then

that is the ornamental fish itself if

you're having trouble catching some of

the tougher fish like the rhyming

angelfish then i recommend you just tap

the real button constantly instead of

holding it down

what i do is i tap the button when it

reaches the lower half of the zone since

the mark jumps a bit each time you hit

the button before we end i do want to

reiterate that you should fish each

location at day and at night you can

miss out on some fish if you don't and

you need a lot of fish to get your

rewards
