being said let's get started so to grow

on instagram you need to have good

content and the best way and the fastest

way to grow on instagram is to have

viral content now this video is mostly

aimed towards people with theme pages

but it is

also very useful for people who have

their personal pages that create their

own content if you're a theme page this

video is going to help you speed up your

instagram workflow and boost your

overall growth and then if you're a

personal page this video is going to

help you understand what a viral content

is

because once you know what content works

on instagram and what content works

on social media in general it's game

over for your competition and with that

being said

let's jump in so first of all what is

viable content so according to the

internet viral content is online content

that achieves a high level of awareness

due to shares and exposure on social

media networks news websites aggregators

email newsletters and search engines

so basically viral content on instagram

is content that gets a lot of likes

views comments and shares now if you're

making content from scratch and blindly

reposting content within your niche

hoping that it goes viral you're doing

it wrong you need to do some research

you want to find and study viral content

now there's two ways you can do this so

the first way is to do what you've most

likely always been doing and what most

people do and what i've done a lot in

the past

is to go on your instagram app study the

content within your niche so for example

let's say we're going to use a page that

i've spoken about millions of times

before on this channel

my bedroom goals to find viral content

all i'm going to do is head over to the

explore page

and now what i'm going to do is

basically just browse and have a look at

a bunch of different content now this

can take a lot of time but when i'm

looking for content what i do is just

mainly browse

through my main explore page and i have

a look at most of the content here now

not all of this is viral content but a

lot of it is content that works

because we are seeing it on the explore

page now

let's say i want to go more in depth

what i'm going to do now is type in

bedroom decor and i'm going to go to the

hashtag bedroom decor

and as you can see now we've got all the

top posts for this hashtag

and as you can see here we've got a

reels here which is a piece of viral

content or it's looking like a piece of

viral content because it's at the top

video content does do very well now it's

very hard to find viral content and to

quickly compare all of these stats for

each post

to see which one does best and each post

was most likely posted on a different

account

so everything is always going to vary a

little bit and it's very hard to kind of

put all this data together

but that's how i would go about finding

content for my page i would go through

have a look if i see that it's got a lot

of engagement it gets a lot of comments

i might be like okay this is great so

for example

uh nearly eight thousand likes 128

comments if i have a look at their page

they've got 186 000 followers and i'm

like okay this content is good

however it's not viral because they

haven't got a huge amount of engagement

on it now let's say i go and take a look

at this reel

right here let me just turn off the

noise as you can see 218 000 likes and

if i take a look at the page

1.5 million followers now they do have a

lot of followers however

218 000 likes is absolutely massive and

this is also thanks to the reels

algorithm that this post has done so

well

but that's how you go about finding

viral content it's very tricky to do

within the app

but that's how i go about doing it

that's how i found most of the content

for this page in the past

however there is a faster easier and

better way to do this

it is a paid tool i do want to mention

but you can test it out for free and

this tool is viral spy what i'm going to

do now is just jump onto my computer and

show you viral spy and how i would find

content a lot

it looks pretty basic

however we can actually do a lot with

this so let's say again we're going to

go into the bedroom the cornish i want

to find

some viral content within the bedroom

goals niche so what i'm going to do is

actually

select hashtags here and i'm going to

quickly type in a bedroom decor

just like this and then i always suggest

turning up the max depth

search to at least a thousand however

you can make it three thousand

i would go minimum of a thousand and

then once you click go it will start

scraping instagram for the viral content

the bigger depth you have

the longer the search will take now as

you can see here we have some more

filters and things we can sort the posts

by we also add a minimum amount of likes

a minimum amount of views

a minimum amount of comments and you can

also only choose posts that were posted

before a certain date or after a certain

date so just to show you a quick example

if i leave this on a thousand and i

click go right now i'm not going to

touch any of the filters just yet so if

i click go

and as you can see we've got this little

loading wheel and it's slowly scraping

instagram

and getting all of the data and

information for us now as you can see

we've already got some of the results

such as the average likes the average

comments the maximum amount of likes

and the max comments however wait until

it's finished scraping so you get the

most accurate data and the best viral

content so i highly recommend just doing

something else that takes you 30 seconds

to a minute and then just come back to

your laptop

okay so that's about three minutes

describe a thousand posts so if you bump

it up to three thousand

it's going to take roughly 10 minutes

which isn't that long considering the

amount of posts it scrapes and just

pulls all the data and information

automatically for you

without you having to look at every

single post to compare everything so now

as you can see if i jump onto the

computer

for the search on the hashtag bedroom

decor

as you can see we've got the engagement

so the average

likes is roughly 961 per post

the average comments 33 the average

video views 30 000 and we also see the

max

one of my two favorite things is we can

also see the most

used hashtags on these posts so

obviously the top one is going to be

bedroom decor because i want all of

these posts to have the hashtag bedroom

decor

and as you can see we've also got

bedroom inspo which is

used a lot we've got interior designs so

this tool can also be used for your

hashtag research

and then on top of that we can also see

dimensions

so as you can see if i just click on

this it says basically this is the list

of usernames and how often they were

mentioned in the post

just like the hashtags so looking at

this this kind of helps you get an idea

of who your competition is within your

niche and

in that hashtag so for an example let's

just say plant lifestyle

right here if i'm to copy this and then

i'm just going to head over to instagram

slash put the username this is going to

be some kind of interior design page

so as you can see yep this hashtag or

this page will be using the hashtag

bedroom decor

so this i could consider this page as

one of my competitors

now if i go back to viralspy and if i

scroll down

this is where we can see all of our

viral content so

now right here we can sort it by the

like so we currently have it sorted by

likes

and as you can see at the top we have

the post with the most likes for this

hashtag so in bedroom decor

the max amount of likes is 18 000. so as

you can see if i go back to the top it

says the max amount of likes is 18 000.

so i might think of this first post with

the maximum amount of likes for this

hashtag as a viral piece of content

however what i highly recommend doing

is if i open it in instagram just by

clicking this button right here and i

check

out their page as you can see they've

got 2.7

million followers so it's only normal

that they're getting this amount of

likes so what we're going to do now is

just completely forget this post

so now i'm going to keep on browsing and

looking through the top pieces of

content

and what i might want to do is adjust

some filters so now

if i only want to show videos so if i'm

looking for video content let's say to

post on reels i can

select videos and then what's going to

happen is variable spy is going to go

through

and just show all of the videos so i've

just done that

and now as you can see all of the

content we see here is

video content and let's just say i

decided to click on this one i do open

in ig

right now and then i press play

so as you can see this is a bedroom

decor

influencer showing off her room and this

is the type of content that would work

really well on my page and it looks like

it's the type of content that's worked

for her so now this maybe wasn't the

best example of a hashtag to show you so

let's say if i go back

to search another viral and this time i

want to find the best viral content from

a specific page

so let's say i type in my bedroom goals

and i select username this time

and then again here i'm just going to do

the mac search depth 300 so on the last

300 posts i'm going to find the best

viral content so now

again what i want to do is sort it by

the amount of engagement overall

and then we're going to do a minimum

amount of likes of 10

000 just like this and then i'm going to

go minimum

comments we'll go 20 because i want

something that engages so now if i

enter this and i click go again viral

spy is going to scrape all of the data

from instagram from this specific page

and bring me all of the best content so

now as you can see it's started

here it's scraping still so again we're

just going to wait for this to finish

but the data has already begun appearing

we also get the engagement rate for the

page

on the amount of posts that we've

scraped so currently

on the 150 post that we've currently

scraped i've got an engagement rate of

1.32 it's now going down we've scraped

the last 200.

so now if i scroll down i'm starting to

see some of the best content on my

page right here so for example the best

post

if i open this in ig i think this might

be a carousel post if i'm not mistaken

as you can see this is one of the most

viral pieces of content i've had so far

on my last 200 posts

so if i go back to viral spy

as you can see we have our top

performing content here right here at

the top

so let's say i want to use this on my

own page so what i could do is just

start selecting them right here

so let's say if there's multiple that i

want to download i can select them

and then i just click zip download right

here however i want to download a

specific one

i can just choose this one and i need to

click download as we can see this now

opens

up and then i can right click and do

save

image as or if i just do this right here

i click zip download for the ones i've

selected so i've got three posts

zip download and as you can see this is

opened up i now have a zip file with all

of that viral content that i've just

selected so that is how to quickly and

easily find viral content so for example

now again if i only wanted videos

however i don't post many videos on my

page if i decide to only have videos i'm

going to remove

the minimum just like so and then

enter now all of the content we're

seeing is video and if we take a look

viral spy tells us

these are videos so as you can see this

one got a quarter million views the next

one got over 110

000 views then 88 000 views and this is

the top performing content so i would

then want to go and

take this content post it on my own

personal page and you can do this for

any type of niche it could be

skateboarding it could be cars you want

to go and find your competitors and see

what content

they're posting themselves and what

content is doing well and if you don't

know

how to find competitors if we go here to

find

similar users this is also a great tool

so let's say i decided to put

my page in and i'm looking for my

competitors with the my bedroom goals

page if i select that and i click

go as you can see now we are searching

for similar users and viral spy

is basically going to pull a bunch of

users that are also in the same niche as

myself and now as you can see we have a

list of all these different accounts

within the same niche as me and what i

can do is if i click copy all to

clipboard right here and then what i can

do if i go to instagram again this time

i'm gonna head into

my dms if i just paste this to myself in

a dm i can now go through and look at

every single one of these accounts

easily and quickly and see what kind of

content they have themselves

or directly on viral spy i can click on

each account

and then i get the analytics and i can

also scrape the content the viral

content on their

page and that is how to quickly and

easily find a bunch of different viral

content to

use or to inspire yourself from for

instagram

and i did mention that this video was

going to be helpful for people that are

also running

personal pages and not just theme pages

where you're reposting content

when it comes to your personal page you

also need to be

posting viral content but because you're

not taking it from somewhere else you

need to make this viral content yourself

and

to make viral content you need to study

viral content so i highly recommend

going through and looking at the top

content on a bunch of different pages on

the explore page the top content within

hashtags

and then take that viral content and

basically recreate it and put your own

spin on it for an example again in the

bedroom to cornish

if videos of people showing off their

bedroom are doing really well

try and do the same style of video

with your own spin on it it could be

just the fact that it's your own bedroom

you could add a funny twist you could

add some personal music

but study viral content to make viral

content and that

and that's pretty much the video now
