Transcripts
we hear about really cool AI apps for
our computers and directly in the
browser all the time but one thing I
rarely hear about is the really cool
mobile apps that are AI enabled so in
this video I'm going to break down 21
free Ai mobile apps that you can use now
out of these 21 apps 100% of them work
on iOS cuz well that's what I have and
two of them don't actually work on
Android but the 19 others that I'm going
to show you do work on Android and don't
worry I'll let you know when I'm talking
about an app that doesn't work on
Android my creative director John and I
spent hours testing tons and tons of Ai
mobile apps and these are the ones that
we decided are the ones that you should
know about and once again these are all
free apps so there are quite a few other
AI apps that are premium you can only
get them to do cool stuff if you pay I'm
excluding those from this video we'll
get to those in a future video for this
one let's just stick with the free stuff
starting with the most obvious being
chat GPT chat GPT has two modes they've
got chat GPT plus which uses GPT 4 and
just the standard chat GPT free version
which uses GPT 3.5 now if you've used
chat GPT on your computer this one
pretty much operates in the same way but
the one major difference about the
mobile app that I really love is that
you can have chats with it similar to
how you'd have chats with Siri and well
it's quite a bit better than Siri now if
you're using 3.5 it's not going to
browse the internet it's only going to
give you information from its training
data but it's still really cool to have
a conversation with it simply hit the
little headphone button to the right of
the message box here and then you can
have conversations with it tell me a
story about a silly rabbit once upon a
time there was a silly rabbit named
Benny Benny loved to hop around the
forest but he had a peculiar habit of
trying to jump over every single tree
stump he came across and there you go
there's the story that it generated for
us and then it jumps straight back to
the familiar chat box where we could
actually read the story if we wanted now
I cut the story a little bit short
because I wanted to keep the pace of the
video going but if you want to read the
story go ahead and pause the video here
now while we're on the topic of chat
Bots I really like the pie chatbot the
piie chatbot comes from a company called
inflection AI whose CEO Mustafa suan
used to be a part of Google's Deep Mind
now Pi is designed to be a lot more
conversational a lot more personal maybe
a little less informational in the
account settings it actually has some
really good really realistic voices my
personal favorite is Voice number six
hey there great to meet you I'm Pi your
personal AI once you've got it working
press the little phone icon next to the
talk with pi box and you can have a
conversation with this one just like we
did with chat GPT one of the fun things
John and I were doing was having it
explained slang to
us what does yeet
mean ye is a slang term with multiple
meanings but it generally expresses EXC
excent Triumph or the act of throwing
something here are the main ways it's
used um as a verb to discard something
with a lot of force a did say she yeed
the ball into the trash can once again I
did cut off the dialogue just to keep
the pace of this video moving but if you
want to see the response you can go
ahead and pause the video one thing that
I also really like about pie is that the
voices are kind of soothing I can hear
these voices in like a headspace sort of
app so if you ever wanted to make some
meditations or something like that I
would say Pi would be the perfect tool
for that K also has the ability to
search the web so you can ask it
questions and it will search the web to
find answers if it needs to what teams
are currently still in the NFL playoffs
with the 2023 24 NFL playoffs in full
swing only four teams remain in the
running for the Super Bowl they are
Detroit Lions NFC San Francisco 49ers
NFC Kansas City Chiefs AFC Baltimore
Ravens AFC it's shaping up to be an
exciting finish to the season are you
rooting for any of these teams no I
don't follow football another thing that
I find really interesting about pie is
its use of breath and ums and things
like that instead of just long awkward
pauses a lot of times it will use these
ums and the sort of breathing sound to
fill in the gaps to give it this realism
that I really really enjoy next up let's
talk about perplexity now perplexity
does have a free model and a paid model
but using the free model it's really
amazing for doing research search it's a
really good replacement for something
like Google search if you just need
information about a topic what are the
best free mobile AI apps now this one
doesn't actually respond with a voice
but it does bring us to a response page
the best free AI apps for Mobile in 2023
lenza replica chat GPT these apps cover
a range of functionalities Etc and then
it gives us some extra questions to ask
as well as cite some sources of where it
got the information that it's sharing
another thing that I really like about
the perplexity app is that it's got this
discover tab down at the very bottom if
I click on this it will actually suggest
some interesting topics to Deep dive
into for example the Messi Ronaldo era
ends what's that all about I can click
on that it's got some sources available
for me and then explains why this era in
football SL soccer is now over now I
believe perplexity uses a handful of
different AI models inside of the
platform and if you upgrade to the paid
plan then you can even use GPT 4 and
Cloud 2.1 according to this tweet here
that came out at the time of this
recording perplexity even now has code
llama 70b instruct available within its
API so I'm not sure if it's available
inside the mobile app or not but they
are using a combination of different AI
models I believe the main model it uses
is GPT 3.5 unless you upgrade and then
you get additional model options but
let's go ahead and just ask perplexity
what large language model does
perplexity use even in perplexity
response it does say the specific large
language model used by perplexity AI is
not mentioned in the available search
results and I can't talk about AI chat
models without talking about character
AI this one is just fun using character
AI you can talk to any character real or
fictional and that AI character will
actually believe it's the person you're
talking to like this conversation that I
had with Mark Zuckerberg I asked him
what's your middle name my middle name
is Edward it's a family name I said no
it's not I apologize for my error my
middle name is actually David not Edward
I am human so I make mistakes sometimes
don't let it happen again I promise it
won't I will ensure that I am more
careful and accurate next time are you
really a lizard I promise you I am not a
lizard I am a human born and raised I
eat human food like hot dogs and pizza
and I enjoy human activities like
walking on two feet I am not a lizard
that's exactly what a lizard would say
it's also exactly what a human would say
I swear I have nothing to do with the
lizard Community we don't have any kind
of packed interesting conversation Zuck
I've also had fictional conversations
with Tim Cook hook on here as well as
Deadpool cuz why not there's not a ton
of practical use cases for this one it's
just fun even my kids like getting on
this one and creating characters and
having random conversations with them
it's just actually kind of a blast to
screw around with fake AI characters to
be honest next up Socratic this one's
actually by Google and you can take
pictures of things and it will analyze
the pictures and help you solve problems
from the pictures so for example I got
my camera on right now see there's my
computer look hey if I take this sticky
note that I just created and I put a
math problem on it like 14 * 268 to the
3 power + 12 and I take a quick snapshot
of it let me see if I can get it in
Focus here you can see it found the math
problem I'm going to go ahead and make
sure it grabs the whole thing and then
I'm going to click go and see it found
the math problem 14 * 268 the 3 power +
12 you can see it gave me the solution
but if I click solve here it actually
breaks down the step-by-step method that
it used to solve it so it did 14 * 268
which is 3752 multiplied it to the third
power got this giant number here then
added 12 to get the final result if I
press the little search icon down at the
bottom it brings up a question box and I
can ask any question for example how
deep is the deepest part of the ocean
and I get a response as well as some
additional explanations here about the
world's oceans I get related videos I
get Q&A and I get more info from the web
all in a single app I can also scroll up
from the bottom when I'm on the app and
see all of the various topics that I can
dig in with Socratic and this one's 100%
free I don't even believe they offer a
paid option if you want to next up let's
look at AI writer this is a really quick
and easy tool to write up quick messages
for various use cases and the cool thing
is it's got a whole bunch of prompt
templates that you can start with so if
I click on choose a prompt template here
you can see all of the templates that
are already available inside of this
these are beginnings of prompts that you
can use write an SMS text message write
an essay about write an email to so I
can say write an email to my boss about
taking next week off click these little
arrows we've got some preferences down
here I've already added some profile
information here we can choose a text
length short medium or long I've noticed
that using short is the best cuz even
short still writes pretty long messages
and then we've got writing tone I'm
going to go ahead and use persuasive
let's persuade my boss to give me the
week off let's click generate and just
like that it writes me an email that I
can use to send to my boss to persuade
him to give me next week off it can also
write replies you input the initial
message that somebody gave you and have
it automatically write a reply for you
so you don't have to think of how to
reply and you can rewrite messages which
is fairly self-explanatory you plug in
an initial text tell it to rewrite it
for you in a better way either write
bullet points or use formal language or
make it shorter whatever click submit
you've got a new version of the text
written up for you now I've been using
this one for free but there is paid
upgrades if I click in here there is
some sort of credit system but so far
I've used it completely for free and
then we have swift key this is one from
Microsoft and you install it and you
don't really actually need to do much
inside of the app itself it actually
adds a new keyboard inside of other apps
so for example let's say I want to text
John my creative director but let's
pretend that John only speaks French he
doesn't speak English and I need to send
him a text in French I could press the
little Globe icon in the bottom left of
my phone here and you can see it added
this new menu bar with the Bing logo and
there's a little translate button if I
press the translate button I could type
the question I want to ask him like when
will the job be done for this week let's
go ahead and change the language to to
French hit this little button here and
you can see it pasted in my question but
in French now I just send the text and
it'll send him a message in French I'm
not going to send him this message right
now cuz I'm recording this late at night
and they'll probably be wondering why
I'm texting them in French but that's
how it's done I can also generate images
with Dolly directly inside of this app
and send them through text message I
just click these four little squares
over on the right side you can see we've
got some options like meme camera
clipboard but if I click this create
option that's directly below the four
squares it says describe the image you
like to create let's do a frog jumping
on a dog's head you see it will say your
image is being created and after a few
seconds I've got a handful of images of
a frog on a dog's nose I could select
any one of these images it copies it
click into my message box press paste
and it pastes it into a message box
where I can now send it to him and just
for fun I'm going to go ahead and send
it to him John's going to be really
confused so some really cool extra
features that you can add just by
playing around with this swift key tool
next up let's talk about Elsa speak now
this one's not super handy if English is
your first language like me but I want
to share it with anybody who English
might not be your first language because
it's an amazing way to get better at
speaking English it basically gives you
a daily English lesson so if I click on
improve pronunciation it brings me to my
day one lesson here I can click into
this click Start nice it pronounces the
word and then listens for me to
pronounce it back
nice it told me I pronounced it
excellent move on to the next word my
biggest wish and just for fun let's go
ahead and mispronounce one of these just
to see what it does my bigest
whiff and it tells me to try again
pronounce the sh here with the that
symbol apparently that makes the sh
sound and then I can obviously say it
correctly my biggest
wish and now it's excellent it's a great
way to practice your English
pronunciation if maybe English isn't
your first language next up let's talk
about Otter Otter is really really handy
for meetings let's say you have a lunch
meeting with somebody you take your
phone you set it on the table between
the two of you during your lunch meeting
and you hit record it records the entire
conversation transcribes the entire
conversation it knows there's two
speakers and it will break the
conversation into speaker one and
speaker two it will then even give you a
summary of the conversation and you can
have chats with the conversation so for
example here's a demo that they've
already got pre-loaded into the app
called my recording tutorial you can see
it's got the transcripts all the way
through uh of this presentation or
speech or whatever it is up at the top I
can click on summary and see a sort of
breakdown of the various topics from the
chat I can open any one of these topics
see some bullets from that specific
portion at the very end there's a tab
that says takeaways and there's a button
that says otter chat where I can ask it
questions otter was I mentioned no Matt
wolf is not mentioned in the provided
meeting transcript let's ask what is
otter good for since this is a tutorial
about otter and we get a response based
on what was said in the conversation
really really handy for notes and
meetings all right now we're going to
get into some of the AI art tools that
are available on your phone and I'm
probably going to pick up the pace a
little bit with some of these because a
lot of these do a lot of things so I'm
going to talk about some of the more
surface level stuff and I encourage you
to dive in and explore these apps even
deeper let's start with dream dream is
an AI art generator it does have a paid
plan the first time you log in it's
going to try to get you to pay but if
you just click X in the top corner it
will bypass this window and let you into
the free version of the app if I click
on the little Plus at the bottom of the
app here I have two options at the top
I've got artwork and Avatar artwork is
essentially just using stable diffusion
and I can generate anything I can
imagine here let's go ahead and use one
of the example prompts just to keep it
quick glowing crystal Cosmic terrarium
if I click on this little magic wand at
the bottom of the prompt box it actually
extends The Prompt and improves upon it
so you can see more detail is now added
and then we could choose a style for
this prompt just keep in mind some of
these styles are only available for the
premium paid plan but I've noticed
there's a lot of really cool free Styles
in here let's go ahead and try Dreamland
V3 I'll press return on my keyboard and
then I'll click create the free version
is only going to generate one image at a
time that's why you see the three locks
at the bottom but it does produce pretty
cool stable diffusion images what I
really like about this app that I
thought was really cool was the Avatar
feature so if I click on Avatar at the
very top here I can use my camera look
into it and take a selfie and then click
next there's the selfie I just took and
let's go ahead and pick an existing
prompt cuz those are usually pretty good
let's do a dark fantasy illustration Etc
use our magic wand see if we can expand
it a little more and let's create and
using a single image with a prompt I get
a funny looking character of myself and
it actually did the Hat pretty dang well
as well I can click the little download
button in the top right of the image and
download the image you can also download
a video that shows the image being
created just showing the noise diffusion
on it the next AI art tool I want to
talk about is star AI this is another
one that has free and paid plans on the
paid plan you only get five credits a
day so you can't do a whole lot with it
on a daily basis but if you only need to
generate one or two images here and
there it'll do the trick for you it's
got all of the normal stable diffusion
Tools in it like create an image from a
text prompt or an image prompt or from a
sketch it's also got some of these other
AI image enhancement tools like an
enhanced feature a magic canvas and the
ability to remove a background from an
image the magic canvas actually uses
what's called lat and consistency models
to generate the images in real time as
you create the prompt so where it says
what do you want to see I can type a man
and without pressing any buttons it
generates a man and if I type wearing
glasses it quickly updates the image to
the man wearing glasses with a beard and
the image just keeps on updating as I
update my prompt purple background and I
can just keep on typing and it will keep
on changing the image based on the text
that I'm inputting pretty dang cool and
there's also a background remover built
in so if I click on remove background
pick an image from my photo album let's
just go ahead and use this selfie image
that I shot recently and click remove
background it's going to scan the image
and there's my image with the background
removed I can click download and now
it's in my camera roll this is an app
that I really recommend exploring
because there are a whole bunch of
different styles available in here and
if you're familiar with using something
like stable diffusion this generates
stable diffusion generated images now
the next three tools I'm going to show
you are all from the same company a
company called LX that makes really cool
AI image and video editing apps for
mobile the first one is called photo
leap and it has a handful of similar
features to the dream app that we talked
about earlier up at the very top there's
a menu I can click on AI tools and you
can see it's got all sorts of AI filters
that we can play with like being able to
transform a shirt or expand the
background or put an AI background in
add tattoos add costumes create AI head
shot like the other tool that we just
played with AI selfies I really had a
lot of fun playing with this hidden face
one you upload an image of your face and
it transferred it into a city skyline
now this one's interesting cuz at first
glance you look at it and you're just
like okay it's a dark city with a lit up
portion in the middle if you squint at
it like you kind of got to squint at it
to see it but if you squint at it you
can actually see my face in the bottom
right corner where the traffic is going
that's actually like my hand in the
corner really really cool effect here's
another one with my face inside of a
pizza once again on first glance kind of
hard to see give it a little squint and
it pops right out at you it's very weird
but really cool and there's just all
sorts of cool features that you could
play with here different costumes
different selfie features you can play
with I want to make my face into like a
pop art image I can press pop art get an
image that looks like that and again
another one that I encourage jumping in
exploring there's just way too many
different filters and features to play
around with next up also from light
tricks is video leap as soon as I jump
in it wants me to upgrade but again just
hit the X in the top left and it will
get you into the free version tons and
tons of features in this app too many to
go through in a single video but you can
add all sorts of effects to your videos
that we could see on the app app here it
also cuts out backgrounds but on videos
or you could change scenes inside of
videos you could add cool colorful
effects inside of videos do infinite
Zoom features or an AI Panorama this
one's interesting cuz you can upload a
whole bunch of pictures let me just grab
a bunch of random pictures here that are
on my phone yep those are all good add
to project create Panorama and we'll
actually create a video where it just
kind of Scrolls between all of the
images we just uploaded and makes it
look like a single coherent video you
can see starts with that one with the
background removed and goes onto that
random image I made earlier and then a
wolf image I made and then a shot from
Vegas and it kind of seamlessly Blends
between the images to a point where you
don't really see the cuts they're not
that noticeable it's kind of a cool
little effect if we look up at the top
here there's tons of templates autoedit
merge speed AI recolor various effects
various transitions various filters a
really cool tool to add various effects
to your video and finally I want to talk
about motion leap which is a really cool
app to turn still images into animated
images I'm going to go ahead and upload
this image of like a sand dun that I
took out in the desert here so if I
click on animate down in the bottom
press the select button the little
paintbrush and then sort of Select this
area of the sand right here and say I
want this sand to have some motion to it
go ahead and select it click the
direction let's go ahead and make it
moving in that direction like that and
now if you look at the video you can
actually see it's animating the sand and
I can speed up the animation as well I
can drag that all the way there and now
you can see the animation is really
showing off let me close out of that so
you get a better look at it there's all
sorts of other overlays that we can add
like we can make it raining in our video
as the sand is going upwards we can mess
with the sky here let's go ahead and
turn the sky pink and just like that
look at that we got like a fiery pink
sky animated sand and it's raining and
all of this started as a still image
that's motion Le makes some really
really cool video effects let's say you
don't have an image to start with you
can actually go up to the AI button in
the very top prompt an image it will use
stable diffusion generate an image and
then you can animate the image that you
just generated with AI as well but I
really like my sandun animation next up
pixa motion it's going to try to get me
to upgrade and pay I'm just going to hit
the X and I could use the free version
now honestly this one pretty much does
the same kinds of stuff as motion leap
that we just played with but I wanted to
show you another alternative that does
similar stuff you can see you can
animate you can add little elements like
that butterfly and these flowers that
are hanging from the top those were all
added in after the fact you can add
overlays you can change the sky you can
add camera effects or stickers over your
images all sorts of cool stuff that you
can do starting with a still image so if
I click create new grab this image that
I have on my phone from the Disneyland
Hotel and I can click animate and let's
see if we can get the water to do some
animation so I can click on the little
motion down in the bottom left and let's
go ahead and give it this like motion
this way I can actually do multiple
lines like that let's press play and you
can see it's kind of animating a whole
bunch of stuff outside of the pool that
we don't want it to animate so I can
press this little pin button here and
put pins in the areas that I want to
make sure it doesn't actually animate we
just want it to animate the water and
nothing else I will make sure that
nothing else outside the water is
animating and let's see if that looks a
little bit better now it's trying to
animate just the water my pinning with
my fat fingers isn't perfect perfect but
you get the idea of what you can do with
that we can add overlays I could add
little floaty hearts around my
Disneyland hotel or heart snow add some
bokeh all sorts of cool effects that we
can add to our video here which by the
way started as an image got extra
elements we can add here let's add some
energy orbs cuz why not and now we've
got an energy orb right in the center of
our thing and uh let's go ahead and uh
fade that out a little bit make it a
little transparent I'm just doing random
stuff here a lot that you can play with
next up is colourpop and if you really
like coloring and coloring books and
things like that that's what coloring
pop is great at down at the bottom you
can see we've got an AI Creator if I
click on AI Creator you can actually see
an image that I already generated once
today but I can type a superhero and
click create now one annoying thing
about this app is that you can either
pay to upgrade or when you generate the
image it's going to make you watch an ad
and the ads are kind of annoying I'm
going to watch the ad real quick but I'm
going to edit out of the video so you
don't have to watch the ad so after a
30second ad it generated this superhero
image for me and if I click color I can
actually color this in right here on the
app so I could select blue make sure
we've got the Paint Bucket selected and
then I could select his shirt and it
will paint his shirt in blue like that
and let's make his pants blue let's make
the boots black and let's give red
tights like so and a red logo my fingers
are way too fat for this probably works
better on an iPad but you get the idea
you basically have a digital coloring
book but the image you created is now
colorable right inside of the app but I
will tell you this app the ads are
freaking annoying I don't think I'll get
enough use out of it to pay to upgrade
it but it forces you to watch so many
dang ads and it's such a sh cuz it's a
fun cool app to use if they found a less
intrusive way to use ads I'd probably
use it a lot more cuz I do like the
concept A lot again that one was called
colourpop Next let's move on to a couple
cool Audio Apps for your mobile phone
starting with Dolby on and this is one
that actually helps remove background
noise from audio or videos so similar to
what you would get from the Adobe speech
enhancer tool this one does something
very similar so I can press the record
button and then I can just start talking
and record some audio of my voice
straight into this app there's not
really too much background noise so it's
not going to be very apparent but if I
hit stop here's what it sounds like with
the noise cleanup turned offing and
record some audio of my voice straight
into this app and here's what it sounds
like it with it turned on there's not
really too much background noise so it's
not going to be very apparent but if I
hit stop it cleans it up a little bit we
have some extra tools here you can mess
with the style a little bit there's some
extra noise reduction so you can turn it
way up if there's a lot of background
noise you can mess with the tone the
treble the mids the bass you can boost
it I believe that kind of boosts the
volume a bit and then I can just start
talking and and it basically gets louder
we can also trim the audio down here
we've also got the ability to do it with
video so I can actually record a video
and get the same audio cleanup on the
video here and apparently it works for
live streams too haven't played with
that feature though this one's totally
free so if you need an easy way to clean
up your audio and you need to do it from
your mobile phone this is a good way to
do it next up let's talk about gradient
music this is like Spotify but for AI
generated music you tell it what kind of
music you enjoy and it will generate AI
music in that style so if you're really
into cyberpunk music I could select the
cyberpunk playlist hit
play and it will play an AI generated
cyberpunk song and there's a whole bunch
of the playlist they should be
royaltyfree I believe because they're AI
generated in my opinion this is a great
app for just putting on background music
and whatever your favorite style is I
personally really like to listen to that
cyber Punk Style music as well as low
five beats when I'm working it feels
like great productivity music for me and
by creating AI generated music I'm never
really hearing the same song Twice next
up let's talk about Luma and this is the
first of the two apps that I'm going to
talk about it is not yet available on
Android it's only on iOS right now but
I'm pretty sure it's coming out for
Android soon and Luma lets you create
Nerfs or neural Radiance Fields
essentially allows you to take a whole
bunch of images around an object and
then it uses all of those images
stitches them together and creates a 3D
object version of that thing see I can
actually drag my finger around you can't
see me dragging my finger around but but
as I drag my finger around like this you
can actually see it moving on the screen
because it's a 3D object and it's got it
from every angle here I could even zoom
out by pinching and zoom in by un
pinching and you can see I can get all
sorts of angles on this 3D object and
again you just walk around the object
and either film a video or take a whole
bunch of pictures and it will stitch
them together into that 3D object I've
used this a bunch of times myself I go
to my profile here you can see here's a
geode that I actually did a Nerf of when
I was in Colorado I can switch to this
mode here and actually move my finger
around and look at it from all different
angles and I can even press the little
AR button up in the top right screen and
it tries to actually put this thing in
my environment so you can see it looks
like it's on my desk now and as I move
my camera around it looks like it's
stationary in the same spot on my desk I
even tried to Nerf myself here it's a
little blurry cuz my wife actually tried
to take all the pictures and I'm a bit
taller than her if I look at the top
down view of my Nerf here in a second
you'll notice I have a giant hole in my
head because well she wasn't able to get
video or pictures of the top of my head
but I attempted to Nerf myself this is
the result that's called Luma AI once
again only available on iOS at the
moment but fairly certain there'll be an
Android version soon the next app is
brand new this app came out a few days
before I'm actually recording this video
is called Arc search at the moment this
is the second app that's only available
on iOS no Android yet but also pretty
sure it's coming out for Android soon
this one so cool I could type any topic
here and it basically searches a whole
bunch of websites pulls a bunch of data
from those websites and then compiles it
into like a single web page to get all
the info for me so for example I can
type San Diego Padres and then if I
click this little browse for me button
right here to the right of San Diego
Padres you can see reading six web pages
Twitter MLB the athletic Wikipedia CBS
Sports Etc and then it gives me this
page with an overview of everything I
need to know about the Padres here's
some pictures of the stadium some
details their home stadium their
achievements the notable players
upcoming games franchise history
established
1969 uniform changes current season
notable players upcoming games and it
gives me a whole bunch of URLs to dive
deeper I can come up here and I can even
find out what has it got on me let's
type Matt wolf and then do browse for me
you can see it's reading a bunch of
pages here it found a couple images of
me here that's my profile pick that's
like a headshot that I use all the time
occupation digital entrepreneur online
presence political involvement wolf ran
for Republican candidate for an at
llarge seat on the Philadelphia seat
Council TW that one's new to me I don't
remember doing that there's more than
one Matt wolf though unfortunately
professional background Future tools
Thrive cart YouTube Twitter Instagram
more stuff on the political Endeavors
which is a different Matt wolf a blog
post and some more links to find more
about me so you really just type in any
prompt you can imagine any you want to
know more info about and it pulls in
tons of details here's another one we're
looking at let's do Nerfs AI I'll browse
for me with Nerfs here and we were just
talking about with Luma AI we've got
some sort of visual representations of
Nerfs at the top every once in a while
the images don't load and I don't know
why it does that but we've got some
visual representations of Nerfs the
definition the application the process
advancements and pretty much all the
explanation you would need to know about
how Nerfs work all in a single page
along with a bunch of resources that you
can click on to learn more about Nerfs
this is really handy I can see myself
using this app all the time especially
because I make YouTube videos and I want
to be thorough so I'm probably going to
plug in whatever topic I'm going to talk
about into this tool to make sure I've
got my bases covered when I'm about to
talk about it and then finally I want to
talk about my mind this is a tool that
I've been using for quite a while now
it's how I save anything that I find on
the internet that I want to make sure I
resurface again in the future basically
this my mind app if I open it up you can
see a giant Archive of all of the cool
articles YouTube videos tweets all sorts
of stuff that I've saved from the web
for pretty much the past year pretty
much all related to AI too I save mostly
AI stuff here so that when I make my
video videos I have a giant database of
potential things to talk about in the
video I come across news articles or
research or information it's great to
have this to quickly pull it up and find
it now here's what's really cool about
this tool is it uses AI to help tag and
create a tldr of anything that I save in
here so for example let's click on this
one here this is act anywhere it's a
research paper that I saved from GitHub
down at the bottom you can see this tldr
if I click on this and open it up act
anywhere introduces a generative model
that automates the process of generating
video backgrounds tailored to foreground
subject motion so it gives me an
explanation based on all of the
information in this research here I get
a nice little one paragraph summary so I
know what this whole thing's about and
then down here you can see it added a
bunch of tags large scale data automated
processes a generative models subject
aware video backgrounds generative
models it added all of these tags for me
so that later on I can quickly search
and I didn't add any of these tags
myself here's how I actually add stuff
to my mind let's say I'm browsing
Twitter or X or whatever you want to
call it I find something interesting
that I want to save let's say I want to
save this tweet here from Boris I click
on this little share button on the
bottom right of the tweet this little
arrow button you can see when I open
this little box there's a my mind button
I just press my mind and it says good
find it's in your mind now if I quickly
jump back over to my mind here close out
of the one I was just looking at do a
quick refresh in the top left tweet that
saved here is the one that I just saved
from Boris and that little share trick
works anywhere I find a web page in
Chrome that I want to resurface later I
share it to my mind I find a YouTube
video I want to come back to later share
it to my mind a tweet I want to come
back to later share it to my mind GitHub
articles archive Pages all of that kind
of stuff save them to my mind and it
organizes it for me let's search uh Nerf
you can see here that it pulled up all
of the stuff that I've saved related to
Nerfs and I can quickly put together a
piece of content around Nerfs and I have
all of this content and data that I can
pull from related to Nerfs cuz it's all
saved in my mind really really helpful
app something that I've just absolutely
can't live without now for productivity
I love it I don't know how I ever lived
without it before it it is that good
can't recommend it enough also free to
use they do have a paid plan but if I
scroll to the left here you can see I'm
still on the free plan and there you
have it that's what I got for you those
are the 21 free AI apps that John and I
scoured the web for to try to find the
best ones we can come across those are
the favorites that we found I'll
probably make another video in the
