[Music]
hello everyone and welcome or welcome
back to a new episode of a better you I
am your host Fernando Ramirez I am
actually coming at you in a different
environment I am in my new
apartment I don't know if you guys knew
this already but I moved Apartments I'm
still currently living in Vancouver but
I have a whole different apartment with
a different view I'm in a little bit of
a different area I have been in the
moving process for the past 2 weeks that
I don't necessarily feel settled at all
in my new home so I'm just kind of
taking days as they come and doing my
best to feel at home to be honest I feel
like that's super normal and common to
happen when you are moving I mean if I
was a little crab and I was switching
shells I'm sure that transition process
would not be easy or simple or
comforting and that's kind of what I
feel like I feel like a little crab with
no shell I'm confused my belongings
aren't up my little Trinkets and things
that make me feel like me are not up in
my home therefore I'm like who even am I
the reason for why I don't have my stuff
up yet is because when you are a
YouTuber and you're trying to do a
moving series it's not as easy as to
just move and just put everything up I'm
like purposely waiting to put things up
on video and if I don't have time to
film I don't want to put things up so
it's like a constant cycle of not
unpacking because I want to film it but
not filming because I don't feel ready
to film and I've just been so busy and
honestly I don't think I can really
complain or say that it was a bad
decision because everything with the
moving process happened so seamlessly it
was was almost like it was meant to be
also I'm not sure if my first moving
diary has gone up yet on my YouTube
channel or not but I highly recommend
you watch that video if it's already up
and if not to look forward to it because
I put so much effort into that video and
it's like a full movie there's a
beginning a middle an end a lot of
backstory a lot of footage filmed from
when I first came to view the apartment
from when I'm packing all my things from
moving there my Reflections on how I
feel about moving I hope that you guys
join me for this new Journey because
it's going to be one that is very
exciting and very authentic it's raw and
it's me navigating my 20s so I'm excited
for that I am going to New York this
weekend I'm going to govball music
festival I've been talking about it for
a while but it's finally come the
weekend where it's happening I've got
VIP tickets for me and all my friends
and I'm so excited there's so many good
artists coming to this festival and I
just can't wait to get my freak on I
want to dance I want to have fun I want
to laugh I just want to make memories
with my friends and I'm really excited
to be going with my friend group that is
not influencers which I it's it's just
such a different vibe either you go with
influenc and it's so fun cuz you get so
much content and everyone's there to
like take photos and like get the
aesthetic Vibe but then also there is
like my hometown friends were like I
just have such a good time with I have
known them for like 10 years and I just
can never have a bad time with them I
think my vibrations are raised my mood
is lifted I think you guys can even feel
it through the screen which is kind of
crazy so I'm excited to go to this
festival with them and just have so much
fun and not worry about anything other
than having fun and I am going to fully
Vlog it for YouTube in previous trips
that I've gone on recently I focused a
lot on content and creating short form
content and like Instagram photos and
whatever and some cool trips that I've
gone on and cool experience have
actually been for work and a lot of the
work that I've been doing has been short
form content so I feel like I've been
prioritizing that over making my long
form YouTube videos I'm super excited
I'm most excited for post Malone siza
Fay Webster PESA pluma Sabrina Carpenter
sexy red Renee rap like you're joking
it's it's everyone that I love literally
21 Savage I'm excited for him too
anyways let's get into the episode today
we're talking about everything you need
to know to have the best summer yet
summer 2024 about to be a movie and I'm
not even joking when I say that I feel
like a lot of people are feeling that
way and me specifically I'm feeling like
this is my healing girl summer summer of
home a summer of healing a summer of
getting into routine and and balancing
my cortisol but I hope for you guys if
you're journaling if you like to write
stuff down if you like to just Ponder if
you like to write in your notes app
think about what the vibe is for this
summer I feel like I used to do that a
lot more where like I set intentions for
like different seasons and then when you
get so busy you just kind of don't even
do that you're just living the days
you're doing your job you're going to
school you're doing work like you don't
really give yourself the time to set the
vibe for how you want the next few
months to go and so I think before
summer since we're at like the perfect
time it's the beginning of June in fact
I don't even think summer officially
starts until the 22nd or something so we
have a little bit of time we're actually
a little bit ahead Vancouver weather's
actually been super sad and like super
rainy the past two weeks so I've not
been feeling in the summer mood but
today's the the first sunny day since
weeks or days so I'm feeling summer Vibe
already and just to point out guys the
place that I moved to is like on the
water on the grass on the park and like
it just feels summer Vibes around me
like I see everyone out and about and
going on walks and it's it's giving me
jealousy cuz I want to go over there
before we get into summer get inspired
figure out what kind of energy you want
to have this summer what kind of Summer
you want it to be and I think the two
biggest things to ensure that you have a
great summer is to one plan ahead and
two stay flexible whenever I'm able to
sit down and organize my activities and
my trips in advance I just know that
that summer is going to be great because
I have those set things to look forward
to I also feel like a big thing in the
summer is a lot of the times people get
into their sad girl hours and it gives
you a lot of time to kind of sit at home
and Ponder and reflect and think but
almost to the point where it gets a
little bit unhealthy where it's like
okay now we just overthinking and it's
not a Vibe and so in order to kind of I
feel like eliminate that or any sort of
like kind of sad Vibes or anxiety Vibes
I think having things and activities and
trips and all of that planned ahead of
time gives you something to look forward
to the summer is actually going to pass
by faster than you even expect it which
in that same way because it passes by so
fast I think having those planned
organized activities is the best thing
you can do so that you don't end up
missing all of Summer and say what the
heck did I just do this year so
definitely plan ahead ask your friends
ask your family ask your significant
other plan with yourself what are the
things that I want to do make a little
summer bucket list I think that's one of
my favorite things to do and you can get
super creative with this and like you
know get pens make it on a big board
make it like a painting make it like a
journal like whatever format you want to
make it put some creativity into it and
then once you have that set ask those
people around you if they want to do
those certain activities with you and
figure out who is the best person for
each activity once you've planned that
all ahead and you're left with extra
time I think it's also a good kind of
mindset to go into the summer with a
little bit of a flexible mentality
knowing that you have stuff planned but
leaving room for spontaneity I think is
the best way to go about it if plans
come up that you didn't have already
planned but they seem just like your cup
of tea maybe we can say yes maybe we can
reorganize what our schedule looks like
and just have a good time have some fun
I feel like sometimes I get into the
mindset of like I should be working more
I should be more consistent I should be
in more routine I should like you know
get myself in order but at the same time
we are the youngest that we're ever
going to be right now so if you get an
opportunity presented to you that you
know is going to create memories and you
do have the ability to create time and
space for it I would 100% say go for it
without a doubt and honestly some of my
best adventures and best memories
happened when I kept kind of an open
mind and just let things happen one of
my favorite things to do when I'm trying
to curate A vibe for the summer is to
make a Pinterest board and I think
that's kind of a kind of a basic one
like I think if if we're talking about
how to make her best summer ever your
first thought might be to make a
Pinterest board but I always have so
much fun when I do this I'm looking at
at my Pinterest right now and the vibe
that I have is outside the vibe that I
have is I'm going to be outside this
summer no matter what it is in fact I
don't even want to be in my home that
sounds kind of horrible considering I
just moved but I just mean like I want
to be out whether that is walking
whether that's at a coffee shop whether
that's meeting a friend for a picnic in
the grass like I don't want to be Doom
scrolling I don't want to be on my phone
I don't want to be constantly waking up
late I don't want to be doing home
workouts to be honest I want to be out
in the gym trying new workout class
just getting out of my comfort zone and
trying things in my city that I haven't
tried before and some of those might
even be becoming more of a nature girly
Vancouver in the summer is actually the
best season and the best time ever and
to live here and to not ever ever ever
ever in my life go on a hike is kind of
just offensive I personally have not
been on one and I don't know why that is
I think I'm just like I was not raised
by really naturey parents nor did I do
that a lot when I was younger so it's
just out of my comfort zone to
definitely go on a hike or something but
a lot of my friends are big hikers big
nature people so I definitely want to go
on more hikes recently I went to the
vanen gardens which is like a big
Botanical Garden here in Vancouver and
you can just go for the day and like
literally go alone and I don't know why
I've never done that before why I've
never considered that but I definitely
want to go one day alone and just like
bring journals bring books bring food
and just hang out by myself in these
beautiful gardens that feel like magical
even so that's something I definitely
want to do I also want to go to like
little waterfalls and swim in cold
Waters I definitely can be a little bit
of a wussy when it comes to being in
cold Waters I never want to jump in I
was definitely the girl back in the day
when I was in like swim lessons that
would take the longest to get into the
water I'd always be like dipping my toes
in and just being so annoying being like
do we have to and it's like girl you
signed up for this but it wasn't really
me it was my parents that signed me up
but anyways I am traumatized from cold
water but I think has a 22- year-old
it's time to reclaim that and actually
jump in get my hair wet you know why not
get my face sweat every once in a while
and not be annoying on the side and
being like my hair I want to be in the
sun more and wear cute clothes feel like
me and my friends have really been into
styling outfits like very cool girl
recently rather than just dressing up
pretty basic um which there's nothing
wrong with a basic style but a lot of
the times basic is kind of the default
when you don't want to put an effort
into your outfits and I think recently
we've been all trying to accessorize
more layer more wear things that are out
of our comfort zone Thrift more and I
think our person Styles have all been a
little bit more developed as of recently
and it's been so much fun going out and
like picking out the perfect outfit so I
definitely want to have fun with it now
that summer is approaching and wear
things that I normally don't wear I feel
like that's on my Pinterest a lot just
like cute little outfits cute little
hairstyles trying to go on boats having
cute little summer cocktails ooh I have
a little photo of strawberry picking
honestly I don't know if it's strawberry
season but going berry picking could be
really cute also going swimming my new
apartment that I just moved into has a
pool so I should definitely take
advantage of that but I also know that
there is so many outdoor pools that I
never go to in Vancouver so that could
be also really fun and yeah my Pinterest
has a lot of friends a lot of people
eating fruit a lot of people with no
makeup maybe that should be another
theme of The Summer just enjoying our
natural bear faces and yeah the other
things that I love to do when I'm trying
to get into the summer spirit is to
change the things around me to feel like
summer if I have sweaters around my home
that make it feel very dark I like to
switch those out for little ting to I
like to change my outfits for summer
pieces and wear a lot of color I love
changing out my bed sheets for more
floral and light Linens rather than um
having a lot of blankets and like warm
fuzzy things I also love making all my
playlists very summer themed and
listening to music that gets me in that
good Sunny mood as well as changing the
wallpapers on my phone to more summer
wallpapers I want to tell you guys about
my current summer favorites or my
favorites going into summer starting off
with a mindset favorite which I'm going
to say that my summer mindset is be
where your feet are I want to be present
I want to feel calm I don't want to feel
anxious about what's coming next or what
I haven't done I want to be where I am
and feel unapologetically present so
that's a huge thing for me right now
bikinis I know bikinis are huge
obviously everyone wants a bikini and
everyone wants to know where to get them
from so these are my top favorite stores
we've got strawberry milk mob a
Vancouver classic got to give her a
shout out Frankie bikinis fourth 37
Monday swimwear Turks swim black bow and
I think those are my top favorites as
for beauty I've been absolutely loving
the brand nude sticks I've recently been
using their cream bronzer and their
cream blush and I love the way that they
look on my face another Beauty favorite
that I've been loving is the Lancome
serum concealers they are super dewy and
are really natural on the face as well
as I think it's called The Makeup
Forever HD skin tint I've been loving
that and I just feel like it makes my
face look super glowy and natural so
that's kind of like a full cream face
there same with the Kostas concealer I
absolutely love that and then the next
thing I wanted to talk about was beauty
treatments and high maintenance to be
low maintenance beauty treatments I
guess that's all I can say the first one
and a huge one that has been different
to me and something I've never done
before is I got lip blush if you don't
know what lip blush is it is a permanent
lip tattoo it kind of lasts like 3 years
I believe and you're also able to get a
touch-up every once in a while so you
can kind of keep getting it done but it
is basically a tattoo on your lips that
is the color of whatever color you want
like any color of lip product it kind of
looks like you've got lip tint on that
just never comes off you might be
wondering why would anybody need that
but there's times you know when you wake
up in the morning your lips look super
pale it makes you look pale it makes you
look kind of like sickly I feel like
sometimes my lip liner comes off and my
lips look pale and it bothers me or I
have to keep reapplying lipstick or lip
liner on and so when I got the
opportunity to collaborate with Amber
stencils here in Vancouver I said yeah
why not let's do it and basically I had
to bring to her my go-to lip combo and
so I brought a color that almost matches
the color of my natural lips and it was
the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip
liner and lipstick and she did the she
did the tattoo on my lips it didn't
really hurt it took like 2 hours and the
healing process is 5 days but they're
officially healed now and I'm wearing a
little bit of lip product on right now
for the visual Watchers but I've been
loving it I feel like without makeup I
look a little bit more done up and it's
just a little addition that is super fun
and I don't know I just felt like
getting of course you don't need to do
anything to your face you don't need any
treatments I honestly didn't need this
it was more just kind of like I'm down
to do it and why not try it but that was
super fun and then as for treatments
that I normally get on rotation I love
getting lash lifts and brow laminations
and tints for both my lashes and my
brows I feel like that always makes my
makeup process go a lot easier and the
Lash lift really helps when you're not
wearing mascara I also recently just got
a chemical peel facial um the one that I
get is called the jester peel and I
absolutely love getting that I feel like
it makes my skin look so great and kind
of just helps with so many things
whether that's fine lines pores or
pigmentation or acne scars or current
pimples it just helps a lot so that is
another facial that I love and then of
course getting my nails done I currently
don't have my nails done and I
desperately need to but I love getting
those done especially for summer there
are so many cool nail trends going on
right now like jelly Nails bow nails 3D
nails like there's so much going on so I
definitely want to get those done soon
and then recently like last week I went
to an oriental spa which is brand new in
Vancouver their Instagram is Revo body
hair and I got an oriental scalp
treatment and an oriental ear cleaning
so random but they offered the services
and I was like I'm so down to try them
both so the scalp treatment was to like
help your scalp health and they kind of
did like a deep cleanse and they got a
little camera and went like in on my
scalp and showed me what my hair
follicles look like and give you some
context loky they told me that I could
go bald that's horrifying and I don't
know why they said that to me she looked
at my hair follicles and she said that
there should be two or three hairs
coming out of each follicle and some
follicles only had one hair on my head
and she was like this could lead to
dandruff and potential balding so I was
super terrified and she told me that
basically I need to stop using dry
shampoo and to just pay attention to my
scalp a little bit more probably go in
and get more treatments so anyways that
was super cool and interesting and it
left my hair feeling super clean and
then I also got the Oriental ear
cleaning which honestly I couldn't
really feel it was basically just like a
massage on my ear and they had all these
little like fuzzy tools and they kind of
did some like massaging around your ear
I've never gotten anything like that
before and it was pretty fun I would do
it again the last treatment that I got
last week was a full body scrub at Lush
I don't know if this is like everywhere
but Lush recently just opened up their
first spa at the Robson location in
Vancouver and so they invited me to come
in and I got a chocolate body scrub it
was called the comforter treatment
basically they poured like hot chocolate
smelling scrub on my body and scrubbed
my arms my chest my legs my back and
they ended up using like moisture like
melt and like massaged my skin and it
was super luxurious I felt so calm I
literally fell asleep and it was very
different from any treatment I've ever
gotten before because they had like
Galaxy light on the ceiling and like
Willy Wonka music literally but yeah so
those are my current favorite beauty
treatments and then as for clothing
items Trends accessories all of those
things I have been loving charm
bracelets and charm necklaces I think
they're super trendy right now and I
feel like everyone is going to be
wearing them this Summer I've also been
loving my Pauline sign bag I know that
just sounded like gibberish but there's
a brand called Pauline they sell like
high-end and high quality bags they're
from Paris and I've been to their store
a couple of times I have a few of their
products now but there is this one bag
that is going viral on like Instagram
Pinterest Tik Tok for all the aesthetic
girlies and it's kind of like a big bag
that fits your laptop and it fits like
so many things in it and it's spelt c y
m e I believe or maybe that's the shade
I don't know if that's s or Kim but that
bag is super popular and it's been my
go-to bag these days whenever I'm going
to a coffee shop and I need to bring a
bunch of stuff with me it fits so much
and it's so aesthetic my current read
going into summer is called the creative
act it is um a book that I've seen go
viral on like all different sorts of
platforms but it's all about creativity
and harnessing that Creative Energy that
you have inside of you and again that is
my energy for this summer I want to be
creative I want to use my ideas and I
want to turn turn things into something
from nothing I definitely think that
that book could be an interesting one
for you if you haven't heard of it or if
you haven't read it before it's also
super aesthetic just to add in there to
add on to the trends that I had listed
before some that I feel like are huge
right now are Bloomers everyone was
wearing Bloomers at Coachella and so
many people were wearing them in La so
I'm definitely going to wear some
Bloomers this weekend at govball also
mini shorts are huge right now also
wearing those at the festival jerseys
have been a thing for a while now I feel
like since last summer but the jerseys
are super cool and you can get a bunch
of them at the thrift store um also
colorful sambas sambas in general are
such a big Trend but I think the
colorful ones are really in right now
also just the cottage core aesthetic and
the cowgirl aesthetic I think are huge
right now they're both giving Hannah
Montana summer and I'm here for it to go
along with those Trends I think cowboy
boots are huge right now as well as
riding boots there's a very specific
riding boot that I'm thinking of from
Steve Madden that has buckles all down
the side and I've seen so many people
wear those with shorts or with skirts
and I'm definitely going to be wearing
that a lot this summer another Trend
that is huge right now is Jorts jean
shorts long jean shorts oversized jean
shorts those are huge and all my friends
are wearing them the other things I have
listed down are cheetah print huge you
guys already know I feel like it's
everywhere and Lace skirts SL seethrough
Fabrics as well as belts and light
fabrics and flowy Silhouettes those are
my 2024 summer Trend predictions or not
trend predictions kind of more Trend
analysis Trend summary I guess also I
feel like a big Vibe trend for this year
is the 2014 La aesthetic I don't know
why I just feel like everyone's saying
like 2024 feels like 2014 summer which
is just a summer of fun Good Vibes good
music friends and like Instagram
filtered photos and just having a lot of
fun I feel like that's the vibe the last
thing I have on my summer favorites
right now is my mini ins list in for
summer our road trips making new friends
nature walks cool girl outfits and
experiences those are my current ins now
speaking of prioritizing experiences and
travel opportunities if you guys were
looking if you guys were thinking of
what you wanted to do this summer I
wanted to tell you guys about some of
the places that I've been to before that
I think would make the perfect
destination for a summer vacation or a
summer little weekend trip week trip
just a little bit getaway for one if
you've never been to Vancouver before I
highly recommend coming here in the
summer 100% there are times I may
complain about Vancouver and I may be
down on it whatever but I think that
just comes with growing up anywhere
usually when you grow up somewhere
you're kind of ready to travel anywhere
else or just to experience something
else but if I was coming to Vancouver
for a vacation for a weekend getaway for
a getaway in general I would love it
it's honestly so beautiful there's so
much to do here so much to see so much
nature to explore the weather is
beautiful everybody's in a good mood in
the summer the sun is out the green is
green in the blue is blue in like it's a
super saturated City honestly I feel
like walk around and I'm like no the
brightness has definitely turned up here
like I I can see everything so I would
definitely recommend Vancouver if you
wanted a little trip there's so many
restaurants coffee shops hikes walks if
you're into outdoor sports like biking
rowing to give you a picture of what I
see looking outside my window right now
I see people playing basketball I see
people playing spikeball I see people
playing soccer people are on walks
there's people using electric scooters
biking tanning having picnic like
there's just people doing stuff all the
time whenever it is sunny so the only
thing I would say is Vancouver doesn't
have the best night life but if you like
cool bars and like cool places to get
drinks or like girls dinners like
there's so many places it's just like if
you're trying to go clubbing the
clubbing scene is not it's not here on
the other hand I would highly recommend
going to Montreal which is another place
in Canada it is a city in Quebec and it
is so much fun I went like 2 years ago
and I went by myself and I went with my
boyfriend andom was like the perfect
place to solo travel to they just had so
much to do and it was such a walkable
City they also had great nightlife and
my boyfriend really loved it so that's
two of us there of course you guys know
I love la I love New York those are
great destinations so much to do last
year I went to Costa Rica and that was
literally iconic like I want to move
there so I would highly recommend going
there specifically to Tamarindo La
Fortuna and Manuel Antonio if I was to
go back I would 100% go to Santa Teresa
also Mexico always a fan favorite of
mine I love the food there I love the
people there I love The Vibes it just
makes me so happy so that's a huge one
and then of course everyone's on their
Euro summer trip I've yet to have a Euro
summer so I'm a little bit foming I
don't think I've gone to Europe in the
summer since maybe 201 like8 so I would
love to do that I think my top travel
destinations as of right now are Italy
Croatia Spain and Portugal in fact my
friend actually just invited me to go to
Portugal in September so that may be in
the cards for the future and then just
to tell you guys some of the travel
destinations that I really want to go to
I think high high high up on my bucket
list is like anywhere in Asia
specifically South Korea Japan and Bali
I think I would thrive in all of those
locations but literally anywhere I think
Asian food is my favorite type of
Cuisine so if I was there I would just I
would be too happy I wouldn't even know
what to do with myself so that's
definitely on my bucket list coming up I
also think something that's really cool
about traveling is that you get to
experience different kinds of cultures
and I think that if you don't have the
ability to travel but you still want to
get those cultural experiences this
summer and just feel like you're doing
something that is going to impact you or
the way that you think maybe I think
even trying new restaurants could be a
great idea maybe attending festivals
there's always big festivals in my city
and I'm sure there is in yours also
maybe visiting museums or art galleries
of a certain culture if you are
specifically from Vancouver I just found
out that there is a garden here here
called the Dr Sun yatson classical
Chinese Garden and it's in Chinatown and
it is a park that just recently got
reopened and I'm dying to go there so
that's also on my bucket list but yeah
just to summarize that I think if you
have the ability to try new music and
food and cultural festivals in your area
or to be educated on new things that you
haven't been educated on before I think
summertime is a great time to do that I
also think this summer I really want to
prioritize going to like amusement parks
randomly like I haven't been to an
amusement park in so long and I think it
could be really fun to go with friends
and to kind of have that inner child
Feeling Again of like going on rides
that'll give you that thrill or maybe
even if you guys have Disneyland near
you or or you have the ability to go to
Disneyland like playing into that inner
child Vibe I would love to do that I
also just want to remind you guys that
this is the perfect time to try new
hobbies or new activities or things that
you've never done before whether that be
something a little bit more adventurous
or something a little bit more wholesome
I just think try trying new things is
completely the vibe for the summer I
think for me I really want to try to go
rock climbing I've said that quite a bit
but now that I'm more going to be at
home when I come back from this trip I
really want to prioritize that and I've
been wanting to do that with my
boyfriend for a while so hopefully we
can actually do that I also think that
it's a perfect time to like take a class
learn something new if there's something
that you've been interested in don't
just talk about how you want to do
something so bad actually sign up for it
and hold yourself accountable to it if
you're going to be at home in the summer
I think taking like online courses or
just you know anything like that it's
it's just truly the perfect time I also
think that summer is usually the time
where I prioritize my health and
wellness the most just because it's
sunny you want to go outside you're
active you're drinking more water and so
if health and wellness is something that
you want to prioritize this summer just
know it is the perfect time to do so
there's so many ways that you can
exercise even Outdoors you can go on
more walks you can go for a runs you can
practice yoga you can play sports with
your friends and all of those ways to
stay active that don't even really feel
like you're working out or actually
being active if that makes sense I've
definitely been in a walking phase the
past few months and I definitely think
that the weather getting better has a
big thing to do with that and I just get
actually so excited to go on walks now
that I'm like looking forward to the
next walk and in fact when I don't go
outside I feel like claustrophobic at
home since you may have a little bit of
time freed up as well I think it's the
perfect time to prioritize the
friendships and the bonds that you
currently have and figuring out how
those can be strengthened and how you
can have more quality time with those
people around you it is so important to
not only have good friends on your side
and know that the people around you are
supporting you but it's also important
to be a good friend back to those people
and being a good friend may look
different to you as it looks different
to me but a big thing for me in terms of
friendship is I really like having
FaceTime with people like not on the
phone FaceTime but I mean face Toof Face
Time quality time time where I can
actually be with that person in person
and if that is one of my I guess top
core values when and I'm trying to be a
good friend I want to make sure that I
do that more often and so this summer I
want to like plan one-on-one dates or
hosting events or going out to dinner or
going out for lunch or going out for
breakfast and just things where I can
actually like talk to that person
oneon-one and get to really see how
they're doing and be a good friend for
them as well since we want to be treated
the way that we treat others and the
last thing that I want to say is
recently I've been coming up with a few
ideas on acts of kindness because I got
presented with an opportunity to make a
video on acts of kindness and since I
was brainstorming a lot for this video
and like Concepts that I could do I
realized how many ways you can volunteer
and help other people and be kind to
your community and even though that's so
obvious and we all know what we should
be doing I feel like when you really get
down and like research organizations and
Foundations and like ways that you can
help you realize how much help there is
to be done or how much help you can
actually do for other people and it may
seem obvious but I feel like I know that
I'm not alone in this situation where
you kind of forget about those things
and so as I was planning down and
brainstorming ways that I can help I
researched so many different like
foundations and organizations that I
definitely want to do this summer and I
think that's going to be super fun not
only for me but if I end up making that
video you guys will hopefully get some
inspiration from that but some ideas to
give you guys if you guys want to do it
as well this summer is to make
sandwiches for the homeless and then go
out and hand them out or work at a soup
kitchen um I'd love to get products and
like feminine things for the woman's
shelter also just going out into the
street and like handing out flowers
handing out sticky notes handing out
compliments maybe paying for the person
behind you and kind of doing that chain
effect where the next person's going to
want to do that next act of kindness or
maybe it could be a beach cleanup a
forest cleanup going to visit the
elderly in a home and like writing
letters to them spending time with them
maybe it's reading at a children's
hospital etc etc there's literally so
many things you can do so that is going
to be the end of today's podcast I hope
you enjoyed it there's so many things
that can do to make this summer a great
one and I hope that you guys really take
the time to plan it ahead of time and
also to try to actually embody the
energy that you say you want to embody I
think your word is so powerful and if
you want your summer to turn out the way
that you do and you say that out loud
make an effort to follow through with
that and to make your actions align with
what you're saying so anyways I love you
I will be going to a Festival this
weekend so I won't see you but if you
want to see me I'm Fernando amirz on
every single platform and I will be
posting so much so make sure to stay
tuned and I hope you guys stay tuned for
all the moving content and everything to
come I feel like I'm in a very
transitional period of my life right now
and I'm so excited for the future and
I'm excited to take you guys along with
me so I love you and I will talk to you
soon
