Transcripts
hello everyone welcome back to the
channel yes I should have reacted to
this video a long time ago for to those
who say that black culture was has been
popular in Japan for a long
time yes um I remember in few of my
videos that I I was speaking about the
Yas situation but yeah that that that
has mostly died down since Ubisoft um
apologized and put out that four-page
statement you know that non apology yeah
that that's the best you're going to get
from a corporate on a Corporal company
you know but yeah that aside I said um
that I I don't remember which exact
video I said it in but I said that um
Japan is a very homogenous country you
know and they value that that um that
tribal you know that closely knit
community of fellow Japanese people and
anyone from the outside will be will
feel will be
feeling feeling that they are being
ostracized you know at least from a few
half Japanese YouTubers half black half
half Japanese YouTubers um they felt
this they even felt racism firsthand
yeah yes and I know that not all
Japanese people are like this but there
are some
and there are um situations that these
people that shape these people's lived
experience that um that people like
Thomas lley and Ubisoft are trying to
invalidate you know so this dude I'm
going to react to this video it was
recommended by one of the the persons
that uh commented on one of my Yas
videos I don't I don't know where
exactly the the comment is and as you
can see I've renamed the channel to Wolf
summer KN wolf summer to you know you
know I want to learn learn Japanese so
bad bro but yeah it's proving difficult
for me but um definitely that aside um
let's get into this um right now I see
subtitles and so I am going to be have a
hard time keeping up I'm going to try to
read as fast as I can to catch what he's
saying and then pause uh like in
particular instances in the in the video
and um to give my opinion
so I see if I'm getting his
understanding or getting his point or
understanding his point not being a a
Japanese speaker so let's go people like
subscribe to the channel share the video
you know it's wolf
and I I I'll try to get you at least two
videos this week h two or three however
many I can um I see that the the the
freaking controversy coverage is not
doing very well so I'm going to stick to
my gaming
controversy coverage you know I might
sprinkle in a few anime related videos
that is that's if I find any news or
decide to spout an opinion about an
anime or how I feeling about an anime
episode that I pre I've recently watched
you know so yeah guys let's get this
this wolf like And subscribe to the
channel follow all the socials links in
the description follow the twitch even
though I I haven't streamed in a while
[Music]
yeah oh my
gosh I I hear some idiot is saying black
slaves are originated in Japan
[Music]
oh [ __ ] no this case should make me a
half Japanese half black man
Angry or some reason
[Music]
okay okay th those images were were well
the the the freaking black family in
Japan were debunked you know they didn't
even have cameras back then it would
have to be a painting but yeah
[Music]
sick okay he's talking about the Thomas
lley situation where he falsified
Wikipedia and that he was an employee at
ni University or something yeah yeah the
lie that there were black samurai in
Japan has been discovered and has become
a problem
yes that he's saying that back in the
warring State Spirit oh it was it was
popular for Japanese Dao to have
freaking
black
slaves to freaking improve their social
standing I'm telling you if if that were
true I know there would be descendants
of those black slaves in Japan today
so yeah let's go
[Applause]
oh my gosh this is what this is where
this is what I was talking about in the
intro if only there had always been a
black culture in
[Music]
Japan then why do I get unusual looks
everywhere I go in Japan and this is
something
that I I I was saying that Japan is a
very H homogenous country and yes some
people look at you in awe like you're
you're not from here and and it might
think it's cool but some people look in
fear and some people look in disgust and
some people look like in like in
aversion like they do not want you here
so but that's not that's mostly rooted
in the older generation I I think I
think because I know that uh the younger
generation coming up with social media
and and and the internet they they're
being exposed to more um diverse culture
opposed to their own so they probably
have at least a somewhat of a more open
mind when comes to different
cultures when time it comes when it
comes to different cultures yeah yeah a
little bit of my language just slipped
into the slipped into the English right
there you know so
excuse me if you don't understand this
the the the the the broken English from
Jamaica is coming coming through you
know the let's go
[Music]
[Music]
yeah yo the Alien Nation that I felt
growing up the fre the the the the the
feeling of you don't belong would be
much less less common if if that was
true and that is what I was saying that
Thomas lley and people like him are
invalidating the experience of half
Japanese half black um citizens growing
up in Japan they're in in invalid
invalidating their Liv the experience
and it's just freaking brushing aside
the cause of of people who experience
this this this in in Japan you
know and separately this is me being
this discrimin discri
[Music]
when they see this they'll say that they
when they see this they'll say that
Japanese people are not
discriminatory I'll tell you that
much don't be ridiculous
okay the translations in the subtitles
are not as not too good but he said that
um the distance and he gets this feeling
this air of people are keeping their
distance from him yeah um like and he
should go out of his way to keep his
distance or something like that but dude
say he's been he's he he was treated as
an freaking anomaly that's that's
that's okay got
a oh my gosh like when kids are at the
coolest like when they're in
kindergarten or Elementary School
than oh my gosh like
poop guys poop is brown you know
yeah yeah we understand but whenever is
when when it's children and they
freaking make fun and freaking cool they
they they they don't have any
filter
oh they going to stab at that most
deepest parts of your soul bro I
understand
that I'm going to beat your ass I'm
going to beat your up I'm going to KI
your ass put the bus that's okay that
translation did not translate to what I
freaking I freaking understood from
anime I'm going to beat her up beat your
ass whatever
oh my gosh stot
[Music]
[Music]
oh my gosh when it gets when you get
older F further down you get more
attention from people that that are
seeking to goow abroad and where they're
interest interested in hip-hop and
freaking stuff like that stereotyping
you know because you're you're black
like I and this right here like I've got
a black friend by my side you're there
as a novelty dang and that that that
previous part like um people are
disappointed when you're black
they they think that you must be
athletic you know because that's what
the they're consuming like mostly
American Media so what they get is
hip-hop um basketball or stuff like that
you know athletic sports and stuff like
that yeah and
um yeah yo they're disappointed whenever
you're not bro and you can if you if
you're if you keep
quiet you you might be included as like
a distant friend you're not fully
included included in the circle
Bang Yes just like
decoration I follow this perfectly
[Music]
[Music]
I'll beat you hope people you piss me
off bro yo yo in reality when I was
younger I was I had a a big uh a better
physique than most so yes I felt
invincible so when they were picking on
me
dang y I'm not I shouldn't be laughing
but the the way how he's bringing it
across yes it makes it entertaining but
dang I'm telling you this dude a lot of
people who do not who are from the West
they do not understand that most mix
mixed children go through go through
this type of struggle whenever they're
in a a country that values the
homogenity or I don't know if homogenity
the
homogeneousness of their culture of
their country that I don't know if
imagin how imin it ah break that word
yeah well yes you you know what I'm
saying when they value tribalism so much
of their country you will feel
ostracized as in his case and a lot more
um Japanese uh um individuals um I'm
going to look for one video and and
react to it so you guys can understand
that this is not this is this is not
just a him problem althor japane half
Japanese um individuals experience this
but some of them don't experience it
because they probably have H skin
unfortunate isn't it but yeah yeah but I
don't live my life being a victim you
know
it's always been an isolating life and
people whenever they see him doing like
YouTube they they they think it's easy
they don't think they don't see the
grind that you they don't see the hard
work that you have to put in what people
don't want don't care people don't care
I'm going to let you know right here um
people do not care like cuz if you do
make it big you you will be end up
making more than what a normal um
minimum normal person makes at minimum
wage if you do make it and that's a
pretty big if yeah you have to put in
all sides all sorts of work the timing
got to be calculated you got to be
calculated you can't just go with the
flow like how how I am doing it you know
cuz I'm just going with the flow um
whatever feel like reacted to I react to
and whatever video I Feel Like Making i'
make but if I want to freaking blow blow
up on YouTube or get become successful
on YouTube um I would have to be
planning videos and timing the release
of videos and uh treating it like a
freaking job and that is not what I want
to do on YouTube you know I just want to
have fun I want to enjoy my time here
enjoy the videos that I make and whether
it's on this channel or my main Channel
you know
so yeah people if I do happen to make it
big I I will be grateful I I will be
very
appreciative but I will not make it seem
like a seem like a seem like it's harder
than freaking a regular
job I will never make it seem like that
you know some people have done that you
know and got backlashed rightfully so
[Music]
[Music]
say I've been struggling with feelings
of alienation and isolation all this
time
that oh and that's why I'm here that's
why who I am who I am today and I love
me now okay that's wonderful for you bro
that's wonderful that's yo yo yo yo big
UPS to you respect yeah
dude dude said he wouldn't have it any
other way he would freak he he is ah
he's even though it was horrible it was
a struggle yeah those that struggle made
him who he is
today that's
exactly yeah yeah
things like Thomas L and the poly gloth
I don't know I don't know who's that who
the polygo is I might I might look it
up they make fun of my life that I'm
living in Japan today
oh why do people have to unnecessarily
emphasize on that black people are poor
and discriminate and discriminated
against um in some cases they are and
it's a reality but not in all cases and
they like
to because of the westernized mindset
and nature and uh the adversity that
black people have faced in the western
culture most of that is a learned is a
learned behavior and learn
um mentality to think that you are
always less fortunate like you don't
have all the all the same opportunities
um that other races have when they when
you are starting at the same means you
know cuz I understand that people are
born with inherent advantages over other
people people are not equal you know
they want you to think that people are
equal but it's not some people end up
developing a victimhood mentality and
feeling like they're they have worse
opportunities than other um races or
other ethn ethnic groups so when all of
that has been popularized in in Western
media that's why you get people
emphasizing on black people being some
black people being poor and
discriminated against cuz right now I'm
I'm poor I'm just working to try and try
and change that you know because I have
uh certain things that certain other
people might not have and I'm trying to
make the best of it you know but that's
me aside I know I'm just trying to
explain the thought process that I feel
that is C is causing this type of um
mentality I'm not going to let you
people direct my life with with tears
bro
yo yo he said he's been discriminated
and why is he still here because he's
learned to he learn to deal with it he
shaped who he is built some um rigidity
in his personality so that he can cope
with it it's not the good situation I'm
not saying it's good but it's what
shaped him to be who he is
today because
if you want even within the same race
yeah we all have different circumstances
right
yeah what
[Music]
your political correctness makes fun of
people who stands up to their Cur um to
their
circumstances they they they want you to
feel like a victim that is literally
saying that he's saying politically
correct next but it's um like the W
culture of the West is wants you to
adapt that victimhood me mentality and
say that you can't rise above the
circumstances that you're in
they want you to feel weak they want you
to stay weak you know they don't want
you to become stronger through that
adversity that you're facing right
now but yes fabricate a culture people
for their own reason yeah
have a nice
what okay it's true these days blacks
are being held up as a spearhead for
political correctness and I have to say
I'm not surprised
let's give him prerenal treatment wait
wait wait that's went by so
far let's give him professional
preferential treatment because he's
black let's use him yes and a lot of
black people do not realize that they're
being used they're being used to push a
message being used for for work agenda
and um it's not going to get any better
until um black people realize that the
people that are using you they don't
care they they they they really do not
care and it's not going to get better
unless you realize that
[Laughter]
[Music]
ah yo yo yo I get what he's saying I get
what he's saying he's saying that even
if a black person were to succeed and
were to be successful because of
political correctness they would say
like it's only because of this um woke
agenda or political correctness that's
why you're able to reach where you're at
and to totally invalidates all the hard
work that you had to put in all of that
it it would make you upset and angry
that people are freaking um disregarding
the hard work that you put in to get
where you are today that's
crazy don't reduce
[Music]
oh my gosh the rainbow's colors are
different and beautiful because they
have their own boundaries they don't all
get mixed
together I understand what you're saying
you can appreciate each
each each race for their own qualities
and you don't have to force them to mesh
together yeah some people might say that
might say that um you're an agent of
segregation you know instead of bringing
people together you're you're putting
them apart but that's not what he's
saying that's not what he's getting
getting at but I can see how that can be
misinterpreted
[Music]
[Music]
what y that ended abruptly bro but yeah
the dude the dude went on a the dude
went on a entire rant about the fact
that Thomas lley and the polyglot I
don't know who the polyglot is is trying
to invalidate the lived experience of
half Japanese citizens living in Japan
that have faced the Discrimination that
they faced and alienation that they
faced over the course of their life
living there uh because Japan is a
country that is very homogeneous yeah
they will they they they um they are not
used to having um um a lot of different
races in their country it's not a
cultural Melting Pot like um let's say
America
or Jamaica or freaking um England or
some place like that so they're judging
from their bias and just placing their
world beliefs on um individuals that are
living in Japan but yeah guys this this
is a video for people who do not
understand and do not live there if you
were well I don't I'm not going to use
anime as a full um as a full um example
but this is the only reference I've got
and uh there is alienation even if you
are not even if you are you are Japanese
in In Living in Japan and I've seen that
from from some of the video some of the
YouTube videos and some of the anime
that I've watch that yeah if you're not
a part of a a particular click or a part
of a particular group you will be
bullied ostracized or something like
that so yeah people that is it if if you
enjoy the video you know subscribe to
your channel um if if you if you if
you're new to the channel subscribe also
if you're subscriber I appreciate you
and thank you and I'll see you in the
next video you know it's peace out it
take let's get this yeah later people
