evening we became aware of an allegation

against one of our co-founders guy beam

innocence and began speaking with

parties involved and in order to

maintain our principles and standards as

a studio and individuals we needed to

act for this reason we are terminating

our relationship with Guy beam

immediately while these facts are

difficult to hear and even more

difficult to accept it is our duty to

act with dignity on behalf of all

individuals involved especially the 55

developers and families we have employed

along with our community of players Dr

help and this would possibly be the end

minor isn't necessarily something you

can come back from this is a serious

crime that usually needs to be taken

seriously it's not like he said a super

hot take or showed his schlong by

accident on camera he messaged an

underrage girl had intentions to meet up

with her and kept this a secret for 7

years this isn't cancel culture being

too sensitive it's people trying to get

rid of a predator if this was Kept

that people were completely overreacting

defend the fact that since she was on

completely fine listen a man trying to

date a girl that's less than half his

to take advantage of a young girl that

did not know any better that's just

then he had a wife and a child going so

far as to betray your loved ones just to

and I'm not really a gamer but stories

like this always disgust me and this is

no exception being a streamer is a dream

career for many many people getting

millions of dollars to quite literally

play video games is a dream come true

there are many streamers that you've

never heard of that have put years of

their life into trying to make it in the

streaming world and have never made it

and probably never will Dr disrespect

was one of the very few people that was

lucky enough to make it into the

streaming world and he clearly did not

appreciate it enough by doing what he

did it's just a spit in the face to all

the people that would kill for his

position and for all the people that

supported him now where that girl is is

unknown her identity was kept private

and for good reason ironically she's

actually old enough to probably be a

college graduate by now considering this

happened all the way in 2017 so wherever

she is I hope that she moved on from

this but his family is the one that's

going to have to carry the burden on

this for the rest of their lives his

wife who stayed with him during the

hardest times of their marriage is

probably just finding out about this now

and who knows how she's reacting to this

more disgusting that young girl's life

is now going to be be staying forever

being a predator YouTube demonetized the

dog pretty shortly after the news came

about so now even the income he did have

is basically going to go completely down

it's also ironic because Lally a month

before all of this he was offered a deal

from kick for $10 million a year to

stream on their platform it's a it's a

shame a man who won the genetic Lottery

has a loving family a dream career and

millions of dollars gave it all up for

something stupid and gross but the one

thing that most people are not talking

about that I want to mention is why

exactly did twitch keep this secret for

so long why was this only being revealed

4 years later after he was banned if it

happened in 2017 then why did they also

ban him 3 years later after that

happened they had accesses to the

messages so did they not know what was

going on what were they hiding and what

else could they also be hiding were they

really willing to let a scandal like

this go under the rug for so long just

to protect their biggest star did they

intentionally not say the reason of the

band to possibly not expose their lack

of action it's a lot of suspicious

activity on twitch's part that is not

being questioned enough I guess time
