Q & A
What is the main topic discussed in the video transcript?
-The main topic discussed in the video transcript is the changes in Dubai's tax-free status and the implications for individuals and businesses considering relocating or operating in Dubai.
Why was Dubai initially attractive to businesses and digital nomads?
-Dubai was initially attractive to businesses and digital nomads due to its 0% tax policy, which promised significant personal financial freedom and low operational costs.
What has changed in Dubai's tax policy in recent years?
-In recent years, Dubai has introduced a minimum level of taxation, moving away from the complete tax-free status it once had. This change was a result of the government's promise of full detaxation for 50-60 years, which eventually led to the implementation of taxes like a 9% value-added tax (VAT).
What are the implications of the new tax policy for residents and non-residents of Dubai?
-For residents, the new tax policy might be acceptable if their intention is to live and work in the UAE. However, for non-residents or digital nomads, the new tax policy makes Dubai less attractive, as they may face additional costs and complexities without the benefit of the previous 0% tax status.
What are the potential issues for Italian digital nomads who move to Dubai with the intention of avoiding taxes?
-Italian digital nomads moving to Dubai with the intention of avoiding taxes may face issues if they receive a tax challenge from the Italian tax agency. They would have to prove their residency in Dubai, which could be complicated if they only have a business or remote worker visa without actually living there.
What are the costs associated with setting up and maintaining a business in Dubai?
-The costs associated with setting up and maintaining a business in Dubai include administrative and bureaucratic expenses, license renewal fees, and accounting audit costs, which can range from €10,000 to €15,000 per year, depending on the business's size and activities.
What are the alternatives to Dubai for businesses and digital nomads?
-The alternatives to Dubai for businesses and digital nomads are other locations that offer simpler, more cost-effective options with fewer bureaucratic hassles. These alternatives might be more suitable for those looking to maintain flexibility and explore new investment opportunities.
What is the speaker's advice for businesses and individuals considering Dubai as their base?

They should only choose Dubai if their primary focus is on living and prospering in the UAE, and they should seek guidance from a knowledgeable financial planner or advisor.
What is the speaker's opinion on the future of Dubai as a business and investment hub?

siga Ciao sono Luca laat da oltre 20
anni mi occupo di pianificazione fiscale
internazionale con l'obiettivo di
massimizzare le libertà personali
fiscali e finanziarie dei miei clienti
Eh vorrei fare qualche piccola
senso neanche andare a cercare tutte
allora spoiler spoiler Alert esistono n
alternative che sono più semplici più
economiche e con meno seccature di Dubai
che oggi sta diventando anche
particolarmente cara infatti Molto
determinato livello D'altro canto
esistono una normativa antiabuso e una
normativa sull' esterovestizione quindi
O continuare a incorporare società
sanno perché tutti incorporano a Dubai
davvero negli Emirati Arabi rimane 100%
quello che secondo me sta diventando
Dubai stanno diventato gli Emirati che
restano un ruolo cruciale nello sviluppo
economico del pianeta il Middle eist è
assolutamente un Place to be però
