almost draft season for Fantasy Football
let's just cut to the chase who are the
guys that could be League winners this
year at every position we're gonna give
them to you let's start things off at
the quarterback position Arc will be the
most important Chris who's the guy that
you're eyeballing here at quarterback
you know we've been talking all off
season about going Elite QB getting the
QB early but sometimes it doesn't work
out right sometimes you miss out on
those Elite early QBs and if you do I
think it's okay because you can just
take Anthony Richardson with one of your
last picks and I really think he has the
potential to be a League winner this
year and I already know what people are
saying or thinking in their head they're
thinking oh my gosh he can't throw he's
not very accurate he's not going to give
you anything through the air and guess
what I don't care I said it with Jalen
hurts I don't care Justin Fields last
year I don't care Justin Fields
literally had a horrendous throwing year
last year 2200 yards and 17 passing
touchdowns that's terrible for a guy who
started almost every single game and
he's still ended up as a top five QB
because of what he did with his legs
over 1100 rushing yards and eight
rushing touchdowns Anthony Richardson is
quite possibly the most athletic QB we
have ever seen he just broke the combine
he's an athletic freak and the Colts
drafted him with the number four pick
he's gonna start right away and I don't
think the Colts are gonna throw him out
there and say Chuck it around 35 or 40
times they're gonna let him run wild
they're gonna let him do his thing he's
going to put up monster rushing numbers
this year and if he does it doesn't
matter what he does through the air can
Anthony Richardson reach 2200 yards and
17 touchdowns I think he can because
almost anybody who starts every game in
today's NFL can reach those terrible
numbers so for me Anthony Richardson if
I miss out on the elite QBs I'm grabbing
him every time give me that rushing QB
who can absolutely not only win me
championships but win me weeks over and
over like Justin fields did like last
year Anthony Richardson is that guy this
year absolutely right I mean almost have
to have a guy if you were looking for a
potential League winner someone take you
to that next level you have to have a
guy who can get you some help rushing
the ball too and so this leads me to my
pick and no not a late round quarterback
but this is a guy who is going to be one
of the top rushers maybe the top rusher
at quarterback and also he can throw
pretty well he's won an MVP doing it and
that's Lamar Jackson so I'm gonna say
look you don't have to go with the early
quarterback strategy but unless you're
gonna wait and take a shot on a guy like
AR I will say I'm gonna go for Lamar
because I think everything's falling
into place for him a lot of people are
gonna be disappointed because of last
year and that's fine you should be he
missed some games with injury he wasn't
great you know early in the season
because he had nobody to throw to look
he finally got paid he's gonna be happy
he finally got some help at receiver he
got several guys in fact to help him out
at receiver and so he also got the most
important thing here is a new offense
I've been saying this over and over
again I think we're going to be amazed
at how different this Baltimore offense
looks under Todd monkin I mean that old
offense that we've been seeing where it
was just you know run first down run
second down between the tackles you know
scramble on third down and hope Lamar
makes a play that's gonna be gone it's
gonna be a lot more creative he's going
to have a lot more freedom under this
offense to both run and throw I mean
Lamar could be in store for his best
season yet and yeah I think that would
qualify as making him a League winner
now at tight end we've been saying look
you take Kelsey early or you wait and
take a shot on a guy but we have a
couple of guys in mind we think are
definitely worth those shots who is your
picket tight end yeah call me a glutton
for punishment or whatever a sucker
whatever you want but I'm going back to
the well with Kyle Pitts this year as a
rookie Kyle Pitts had ridiculous hype I
mean he was over hyped I think you and I
were even telling people like he is way
over hyped this year but he was good as
a rookie a thousand yards just in scorny
touchdowns didn't put up big fantasy
numbers last year still was pretty hyped
up he was going as like a second maybe a
third round pick really disappointed of
course then had that season ending
injury but this year finally he's not
being hyped up anymore he's routinely
falling to the sixth seventh sometimes
even the eighth round of drafts and at
that point I'm gonna gamble on the
talent of cow pits every single time
this is a guy who we know is one of the
most talented prospects at the position
we've seen in years and again a thousand
yards is a rookie that might not sound
like a big deal but Travis Kelsey didn't
hit a thousand yards until year three in
the NFL he did it as a rookie now he's
entering year three in the NFL this is
prime breakout year for tight ends and
say what you want about this offense and
Desmond Ritter they're gonna throw the
ball more than last year no they're not
going to be one of the past heaviest
teams but if you they can even reach 30
pass attempts a game that's enough
because who did they're throwing it to I
mean Drake London cow pits and I don't
even know Mac Hollins
Alameda Zacchaeus you know Bijan out of
the backfield like this is a very
shallow target tree cow pits is going to
get a ton of targets and unlike with
Marcus Mariota last year who is one of
the most inaccurate quarterbacks in the
entire NFL Desmond Ritter will at least
be good enough so to me Kyle Pitts with
his upside with his ability in the sixth
seventh eighth round of drafts I will
gamble on that every time definitely
worth a gamble you know some people
might say well how can London and Pitts
and Bijan all thrive in that kind of
conservative offense I guarantee you
those three guys will probably have like
90 of the target share on that offense I
think they can all go off they went late
round quarterback you know I'm gonna go
late round tight end and this is a
player who may not even be drafted in a
lot of redraft leagues I'm gonna take a
shot on Greg dulcich in Denver and so
I'm slowly you know getting a little bit
of trust in this Denver offense I think
Sean Payton can make things happen I
mean it it has to be better than last
year like that by default we know that
all right Russ has to be better than
last year also I think Peyton is very
smart because one thing he does is he
finds what a player's strength is and he
utilizes it so he'll do that okay and
for Russell Wilson it's not necessarily
chucking the ball deep every time when
you don't have a go-to Target that
worked when you hit Tyler Lockett maybe
DK Metcalf it's not the strength of his
Broncos you know receiving core and the
fact that they don't really have an
alpha you know we talked about that
maybe Jerry Judah will be fine but he's
not really a true Alpha at least he
hasn't shown that he will be Court in
Sutton it doesn't look like it either
there will be plenty of targets for Greg
dolsage we've talked about this also you
know Greg Dulce has been pegged for that
we call Joker role in this offense
Peyton finds a guy that he think is
versatile and it can move around
different formations you know take
advantage of match-ups he has identified
dosage for a reason he's an athletic
tight end he really showed some flashes
last season he will be used in this
offense and one thing we should know
about Peyton you might know all the way
back to when you started coaching he
started out as the offense coordinator
for the Giants so he oversaw if y'all
remember Jeremy's Shockey and his great
rookie season started him off on a great
career and then when he went to New
Orleans you know he was the coach when
there was another former hurricane tight
end that had a pretty good career that's
Jimmy Graham I think he's shown that he
likes to use tight ends and if dolsich
is going to get that kind of usage he
will absolutely be a League winner when
you can draft him in the final round
before we get to running back and wide
receiver let me remind you that this is

flockfancy.com endgame all right now the
fun positions let's get to running back
who's the guy you're looking at right
now yeah I keep talking about JK Dobbins
but I can't help it because this is a
situation where talent and health
should finally meet opportunity because
that's been the big issue with JK
Dobbins is the health it's not that he
doesn't have the talent this guy was an
elite Prospect coming out of college
remember 2 000 yards is junior year over
20 touchdowns he's drafted in the second
round he was expected to be a stud
running back and when he's been healthy
he has been a stud running back if you
look at his career he's averaging 5.9
yards per carry and what I really liked
last year I was telling people last year
you're too high on JK Dobbins he's
coming off a major knee injury don't
draft him in 2022 draft him in 2023 when
people aren't on him anymore because he
just got burned by him here we are
they've been burned by him you can
routinely get JK Thomas in the fifth
round sometimes even the sixth round of
fantasy drafts this was a guy over the
last five games last year you know
averaged over 100 yards per game and
like you said that was in a terrible
conservative offense without Lamar
Jackson not to mention JK Dobbins wasn't
even close to 100 in those games I mean
he had horns coming out of his knee he
was running with like a limp in his gate
now he's going to be 100 healthy we talk
about it all the time ACL running backs
you want him year two not year one this
is year two we're gonna have a fully
healthy JK Dobbins by the way who's also
playing for a potential contract this
year so you know he's going to be
motivated kind of like uh maybe Josh
Jacobs was last year and they're gonna
be like you said with Lamar Jackson this
is going to be a totally different
offense with Todd Monken it's going to
be a more Dynamic offense it's going to
be an offense it's going to have way
more opportunities to score and Pro
Football Focus has the Ravens ranked as
the fourth best offensive line right now
I feel like everything is pointing to JK
Dobbins having a massive season this
year and nobody cares because he burned
him last year even though you shouldn't
have drafted him last year you know I'm
on board with that pick is what I said
about the Ravens Lamar Jackson I have a
player in mind who has a lot of
similarities so let's see if we can
figure it out uh eight playing for a
contract this year you know you talk
about the Ravens having the what fourth
best offense in line this team had the
best offensive line last year this is
also a guy that has been a little bit
underachieving a lot of injuries but is
ready to finally explode I think and
don't let it be said that we are
stubborn that we don't change our minds
on guys that we have anything personal
no because you were not touching JK
Dobbins at all last year and neither was
I I was completely off of DeAndre Swift
last season and now I think I'm all the
way in I'm trying to get him more and
more because this is not only a great
value where you can get him a guy who is
the lead running back on one of the best
teams maybe the best offense at least in
the NFC if not all football
and so why would you not want to trap a
guy who is one of the most talented and
in one of the best positions because
he's finally away from Detroit where
whatever the case was it seemed like it
was almost a personal thing right you
didn't have the trust of the coaching
staff they always always banged up all
running backs get banged up all right I
think Philly got him they're gonna use
him he's gonna play for that contract
he's going to play to prove himself and
he's going to be in the perfect
situation he doesn't even need to get 20
plus touches a game his efficiency as
he's shown over the years is going to
make up for it so I will gladly take a
chance on a guy like this who could
finally meet his massive ceiling because
it's definitely going to be worth it and
it's time for wide receivers so many
choices but who's the guy who's really
caught your eye yeah there's there's a
lot of potential candidates here but I'm
gonna go with rookie Jordan Addison he's
a guy I just I every time he's on the
board I'm drafting him I think he's
gonna be the best rookie wide receiver
this year maybe not long term but this
year he will be he landed in the best
possible situation for him because he's
not a guy who you would want to be like
the number one alpha wide receiver you
want him to be a one number two wide
receiver and the last time I checked the
Vikings have a pretty good number one
wide receiver so that part he checks but
also this is a very good player and this
is a team top five in past attempts last
year if you look at Adam thielen the old
dusty guy he's replacing Adam thielen
was top five in route's run last year
that's going to be Jordan Addison this
year he's going to run a ton of routes
and defenses aren't going to go into the
game thinking we need to shut down
Jordan Addison no they're going to still
Focus all of their attention on Justin
Jefferson Jordan Addison is going to be
out there running against second string
Corners you know the number three
corners getting soft matchups layup
throws he's gonna be Kirk Cousins kind
of like okay Justin Jefferson's triple
team where's Jordan Madison there he is
let me hit him that's who Jordan Addison
is going to be this year I think he's
going to lead all rookies and receptions
I think he's going to have a big yardage
season I think he has touchdown upside
we see it you know we've seen it a lot
recently rookie wide receivers come
through especially in the second half of
the season I think Jordan Addison can
come through from day one and be a
rookie wide receiver who helps your team
win a championship it's definitely going
to be a good value because he's going to
be in that pretty big shadow cast by
Justin Jefferson that's exactly how you
take advantage of him as his own team's
wide receiver too so I'm gonna go with a
player that is I guess technically the
wide receiver two on his offense but he
could want to being the guy this year a
lot of people think Jalen Waddles
sometimes maybe a little overdrafted he
usually goes late second or early third
round in our mocks that we do and some
people like ah it feels a little early
maybe people don't realize he finished
in PPR scoring as the wide receiver
eight last season 1350
six yards and he led the league in yards
perception at 18.1 now keep in mind he
did all this not just as a young
receiver but this is with Tua missing
four full games and half of another one
when he was off the field let's imagine
God forbid everything goes right for Tua
and he plays a full season or pretty
close to full season and this offense is
just gonna be even better it's going to
be firing in all cylinders and what if
Tyree kill would now this whole thing
that's come up with the legal trouble if
he's missing some games I mean waddle
has a legit shot at 1500 plus yards I
mean either way well their Hill is there
for the whole season or not I think
waddle is being under drafted second
round seems like the perfect spot for
him but I'm gonna take him and I think
that he's a guy who could serve as your
wide receiver one I think he is
legitimately a potential League winner
because he's shown he is a stud and that
often since you know McDaniel is going
to make sure that he gets the ball early
and often those are some players that
could be League winners for you this
year I mean should be drafted higher but
these guys are really tremendously
undervalued and they could be studs
