actually uploaded in one of his Breakout
tracks a bit patchy as a free download
on data transmission SoundCloud a long
time ago it essentially went Mentor over
a few weeks and grew to 40,000 streams
on Soundcloud Sammy then got it signed
to Mr Jam's speaker box label because it
had so much heat and he messaged us and
said it's been signed can you take it
down it's going to get an official
release we were like amazing yes of
course and it all led to that first
release it's something we both never
expected exciting but we're not looking
at SoundCloud today we've been looking
at Sammy Porter's Instagram and for that
matter his Tik Tok because he copies his
content over to the other platform too
because he's doing some amazing content
Sammy has built a massive Army on
Instagram of over 200,000 subscribers
his content is super engaging and he
uses DJ videos which I've said a lot on
this channel to build his content
strategy this has helped him promote
himself the events that he's involved
with love juice and his music Samy is
also using some AI video content to
spice up his in the studio videos and
that got him over 50 th000 views so

resolution away from the content this is
what Samy has done with this video and
it's amazing and he's used his caption

the biggest bits of house music ever
made the thing with this video is people
are actually singing in the video to the

I actually had to watch this three or
four times to try and work out what they
were singing and if it lined up with the
caption that he' typed and trying to
understand the piece of content and I
was watching it over and over and going
are they singing the right words are
they and it made me want to watch it
over and over and over which basically
means he's getting three four five times
100% watch time which is epic on a piece
of content and because it's short it's
really epic and I've watched it a bunch
of times and still don't know number two

promote his current single in three or
four different video Styles this is the
best way you can promote your new music

done one or two and then got stuck and
not known what to make next or the big
one and overthink that you don't want to
spam the audience with each video it
might not be the same people seeing that
video and you might be hitting a bigger
percentage of your total audience there
is also a marketing term that takes
seven touch points for someone to buy in
and see what you're doing so for his new
single get shaky he's made reels in the
club he's made reels one Sat by his
computer admittedly he got a bit lucky
with a lightning bolt as he was
recording or maybe the storm was going
off and he cleverly thought I'll stick
the camera on and see if I can catch it
over a long period of time and I'll just
sit and do something and see if I can
get a few seconds of video in maybe an
hours worth of content that's more
likely prop Sammy he's obviously been
playing the track for many months in
many different Club clubs and places and
sets and collected all that content to
be able to push it when the release
comes out this is why it's important not
to rush a new single out take your time
to build content over months to help
that track when it drops how many of you
DJs and producers make a track and then
want it out instantly because they want
people to hear it the big music
producers like Sammy Porter spend months
building a track and then release it and
have the patience and you can do this
from home in a home studio or a live
stream and maybe a few external gigs if
you're much smaller and maybe get some
lucky content from some bigger acts as
well okay these two things are big but
they're not the biggest thing he's doing

need to stick around for that one one

content isn't just at massive gigs he's

he's built a good looking space over a
long period of time and if we look at

Studio's starting to get some shape and
again he uses that caption space to tell

later in carousels you can see he's
upgraded the space added some lights and
made it look a bit more Popp him this is
something that can definitely be done
from home or in a pirate Studio
combining the last two points he's made
a really cool video in his studio and
then he's used AI to make it look even
better this video he clearly dropped
over Halloween and he's used it as a
different way to promote his new track

he's doing okay that's four really big
ones but if you are not doing this next
thing then you won't get your videos to

noticed the really big thing that he has

I tell you the big thing he's doing is
he's onscreen captions which he adds to
every single reel they make you want to
watch it and then keep watching you as
it navigates you through the content

this year firstly just reiterate some of
the points I've been making already he's
been building this track all year and
getting content and with the crowd in it
from the text if you've been at a gig
you're thinking what track is it have I
heard it already if you haven't been
through a track you still go I wonder

inbox you the link this is a big call to
action but it's also inbuilt into
Instagram's captions and by using these
key wordss you're telling Instagram how
it should categorize your content and
who it should show it to yep Instagram
can read the words that you put on the
video and it helps work out who that
content is for and who it needs to show
it to and once again he's put the same
words in the caption he's probably put
the same words on the alt text option
for visually visually impaired let's
look at this one unless you are a DJ
keep scrolling he calls out DJs in this
one and gets them listening why has he
done this because this video is a little
bit longer it's middle of the funnel
conversions and it's up to 30 seconds
long and it's showing more of the track
and he really wants to get his DJs
behind this piece of music so that they
can start playing in the clubs as well
the next line you remember this classic
