Outlines
๐ Study Session Planning Method
Ruby introduces a study method she has been using and loving recently, which she had mentioned in an older video. The method involves creating a physical representation of productivity. It starts with writing a 'petite duelist' (possibly a typo for 'to-do list') and transferring tasks onto sticky notes. These notes are then attached to the hard copies of the tasks, such as textbooks, ensuring all necessary resources are laid out in the order of completion. Upon finishing a task, the sticky note is peeled off, and the hard copy is removed, visually representing the progress made. This method is particularly useful for those who struggle with procrastination, as it helps to see tangible proof of completed work, which can motivate further productivity.

Transcripts
hello it's Ruby and today I wanted to
share with you a method of planning your
study sessions which I have been using a
lot lately and which I've really been
loving it's actually something I
mentioned in a really old video so you
might remember it if you've been
watching me for a while so the general
premise of this study method is to
provide a physical representation of
productivity so the first thing you will
do is write a petite duelist and then
transfer this on to sticky notes then
with the sticky notes you will basically
attach it to a hard copy of whatever
task you need to do so for example if
you need to take notes from your
textbook you will put your textbook down
on the flat surface and you will have
all of the tasks laid out in the order
that you would like to complete them now
one important thing is to make sure that
all of the resources that you will need
for that task are set out so for example
I needed to do a mind map so I made sure
to have a piece of paper with the essay
which I could then use to consult and
then when you finish the task you simply
peel off the the post-it note and you
can also remove the hard copy from where
it was on your bed or flat surface so
basically this provides a means of
actually seeing physically how much work
you've done because you will see this
gap in the flat surfaces to where books
papers once were that you've managed to
remove them so I'm a strong believer in
productivity which you will know if
you've been watching my videos for a
while I feel that when you feel
productive you end up being more
productive when you see that you are
actually getting through things you are
going to end up being becoming more and
more productive over the course of your
study session at least that's what I
found in practice
this is a really great method to use
especially if you're having trouble with
procrastinating so I really hope that
you find it useful if you do then please
let me know in the comments because I'd
love to hear your thoughts and I'd love
to hear can you find it as useful as I
personally do so thank you again and
have a productive week
