It recommends sending a minimum of 8 emails per month, with 12 being ideal for active subscribers. Using the January 2024 calendar, it suggests selecting specific days (like the 4th, 8th, 11th, 14th, etc.) for the 8-day cadence and additional days (1st, 6th, 20th, and 31st) for a 12-day cadence. play five email marketing magic
scheduling now most people have a clear
understanding of how to schedule
campaigns within their email marketing
strategy of course let's take a look at
the calendar so
as stated you should be sending a
minimum of eight emails within a month
and 12 is a better alternative if you
have more subscribers and um your
subscribers are more active so let's see
how to use this so if we were following
an 8 day Cadence we would select all the
squares in white if we were using the
January 2024 calendar so we would select
the the fourth the 8th the 11th the 14th
the 17th the 22nd 25th and 28th now if
we wanted to follow a 12-day
Cadence we would select all the squares
in white and we would add the 1st the
6th the 20th and the 31st to the same
exact schedule and that would give us a
12-day Cadence so we would send an email
on every square that selected that gives
us about two to three emails per week
essentially the first week we sent three
the second we sent two third week we
send three second we sent two and then
we send two again of course keeping in
mind the 14th is one day before most
Americans get paid and the 31st is one
day before Americans get paid and
obviously the first is a Payday but
again be mindful of holidays when you're
scheduling this
now scheduling emails isn't usually the
challenge for most people it's usually
trying to figure out exactly what you
should send so
let's bring our planner over so what
we're going to go over is
how to develop email content so the
first thing you're going to do is say
what services do I offer right these are
our
topics for this example I used a
marketing agency so let's say they
offered three services paid ads social
media management and web development so
if you offer three services then you're
going to say three services Time 4 = 12
emails if we're operating on a 12 email
Cadence if we were operating on an eight
email Cadence we would just do the the
math for to equal 8 so right now we're
operating on the 12 email CS okay so we
have three subjects and we're going to
send four emails per
subject so Under Paid ads here's the
four topics that I
created improving conversion rate
measuring
success lowering acquisition cause scale
and
P for social media
we're going to go with growing followers
using Instagram reals Tik Tok versus
Instagram days and times to post these
are our
subjects now for web development we're
going to go with blog topics SEO hacks
apps to improve
sales new inspiring design
recommendations so
that's all of the subjects that I would
send in a single month done just that
quickly that are all in alignment with
the services or products that I offer
now before you ever schedule emails you
have
to organize your
topics if you can't think of any topics
to use for your business
go to
mild.com and this should help you with
your email strategy to turn potential
customers into paying customers
