play00:00

For the past four years

play00:01

I've been using an incredibly simple 6-step

play00:03

marketing funnel to convert new leads into paying customers.

play00:06

This funnel is so simple and effective, and yes

play00:09

it has made me millions of dollars

play00:11

and I'm about to share the whole thing with you.

play00:13

So keep watching.

play00:24

Hey, posse, what's up?

play00:25

It's Alex coming at you this week

play00:26

with a video to help you capture

play00:28

and convert more customers in your business.

play00:31

If you're new to the crew, welcome

play00:32

make sure to subscribe below

play00:33

and don't forget to hit that bell to be notified when

play00:36

my next tutorial goes live.

play00:37

Now, first things first, let's talk

play00:39

about what a funnel actually is

play00:41

because it is a word you hear a lot in the marketing world.

play00:45

So a funnel is simply referring to the journey a newly takes

play00:48

as they interact with your brand, as they move

play00:51

from being completely unaware of you and what you offer

play00:53

at the top of the funnel moving all the way to the bottom

play00:56

of the funnel where they hopefully become paying

play00:58

and repeat customers.

play01:00

And it's the touchpoints between that make

play01:02

up the structure or framework of your funnel.

play01:04

And it goes without saying

play01:05

that there are a ton of different frameworks you can follow.

play01:08

Funnels can be simple

play01:10

and they can be complex with different upsells

play01:12

and downsell pathways and fancy segmentation

play01:15

and retargeting campaigns and all of that jazz.

play01:17

But that is not the type

play01:18

of funnel that we're gonna talk about today.

play01:20

For the first four years of my business, I used a very

play01:23

very simple sales funnel, like I mean dead simple.

play01:26

And I was able to generate

play01:27

over a million dollars in my first year from it.

play01:29

And I'm literally just now starting to build

play01:32

out my funnels into more complex structures.

play01:34

And this leads me

play01:35

to the biggest misconception in marketing today

play01:38

that if you wanna grow, you need a fancy funnel.

play01:41

The number of times I've heard people say

play01:43

I need to fix my funnel, or my funnel isn't working

play01:44

or I need a new funnel funnel, funnel funnel.

play01:47

And yes, at the end of the day

play01:48

while your marketing funnel is important, it's the messaging

play01:51

behind the marketing that makes the biggest impact.

play01:54

So if your funnel isn't working

play01:55

it's because your messaging is falling flat.

play01:58

So fix that and you can have one very

play02:01

simple funnel that your entire business is based

play02:03

on because that is exactly what I did.

play02:05

So with that, let me show you this super simple six

play02:08

step funnel that has made me millions of dollars.

play02:11

So step one, traffic.

play02:12

The number one goal at the very top

play02:14

of your marketing funnel is to get attention

play02:17

aka more eyeballs on your stuff.

play02:19

We call this impressions or views in the marketing world.

play02:22

And then converting those views into clicks

play02:24

which is what we call traffic.

play02:26

There are many different ways that you can go

play02:28

about getting traffic to your content or to your website

play02:30

organic traffic via seo, content marketing, social media

play02:34

affiliate marketing, sponsored traffic, or paid ads.

play02:37

Now, if you're thinking, oh, great

play02:38

I already can't do this because I cannot afford to run ads

play02:41

let me stop you right there, because you do not

play02:43

have to run paid ads in order to use this funnel.

play02:46

The reality is it's not realistic for many brands

play02:48

and businesses out there to run ads when

play02:50

they're just starting out

play02:51

because many don't have the budget to actually pay

play02:53

for that media right away.

play02:55

So if that's you don't stress, don't worry.

play02:57

This funnel can still work extremely well for for you.

play02:59

And in the first year of my business

play03:00

I actually didn't spend a single cent on paid ads.

play03:03

I built my business 100% organically

play03:06

via my social channels and YouTube videos like this one.

play03:08

And anytime and every time it made sense

play03:10

I would promote a lead magnet and drive people

play03:12

to my site to sign up for my email list.

play03:14

Which leads me to step number two landing page.

play03:16

So once you've got some eyeballs on your stuff

play03:19

it's time to turn those lurkers into leads.

play03:22

Your goal is to get them to go one step further

play03:24

with you so you can continue to build that relationship

play03:26

with them and move them through your funnel.

play03:28

Now, it's gonna be really rare for someone to buy

play03:30

from you if they literally just discovered who you are.

play03:32

So instead of asking them to buy right away

play03:34

you wanna get them to make what's called a micro-commitment.

play03:37

And the best way to do this is to invite them to

play03:39

join your email list.

play03:40

But hey, we all know that "Join my email list"

play03:43

isn't the most compelling call to action.

play03:45

You gotta offer them something valuable in

play03:47

exchange for their email address, which leads

play03:49

me to the next component you need in your funnel.

play03:51

Number three, a high value lead magnet.

play03:53

So your goal with the lead magnet is to give

play03:56

away something highly valuable for free.

play03:58

That's why I'm drawing this as a pot of gold right here

play04:00

because it has got to be good.

play04:03

You really wanna make sure this is something that

play04:05

will move them closer to their desired goal and needs to

play04:08

solve a problem and offer next steps that invites them, yes

play04:10

to go deeper into the funnel and deeper with your brand.

play04:14

Now, I have an entire tutorial breaking

play04:16

down my lead magnet formula

play04:17

and I will link to that in the description box below.

play04:20

But just to give you a quick idea

play04:21

your lead magnet could be anything from a checklist

play04:24

a cheatsheet, a guide, a webinar

play04:26

a workshop, a masterclass, you name it.

play04:28

And of course, in order to access the lead magnet

play04:30

they need to input their email address

play04:32

which will then deliver the lead magnet to their inbox.

play04:34

And voila, you have a new lead on your email list.

play04:37

Now it's time for them to drop into the next component

play04:40

of your funnel, which is step four indoctrination emails.

play04:43

So once you've got that fresh lead on your email list

play04:45

you can begin the process

play04:46

of nurturing them through a series of emails often referred

play04:49

to as indoctrination emails or welcome emails.

play04:52

Now, the purpose of these emails are to build

play04:54

up more desire and awareness

play04:55

and trust by providing valuable and relevant content.

play04:58

Yes, more value people.

play05:00

We need to give the people value.

play05:02

So instead of hard selling, your primary goal

play05:04

with these emails is to educate your prospects

play05:06

on who you are

play05:07

and why you're uniquely qualified to help them.

play05:09

This is a great time to share who you are

play05:11

what you stand for, and most importantly

play05:13

that you understand them

play05:15

and their unique challenges and obstacles.

play05:17

And again, just like the lead magnet

play05:19

I have a full tutorial dedicated

play05:20

to breaking down my 3-step indoctrination formula.

play05:23

So if you wanna get more help on that step

play05:25

you can find a link to that in the description box below.

play05:27

Alright, now after you've indoctrinated your leads

play05:29

with some amazing, amazing welcome emails

play05:32

you can move them into the next step of your funnel

play05:35

which is step number five, sales emails.

play05:37

Okay, so up until now

play05:39

you haven't really directly made an offer, right?

play05:41

But you've been seating the sale in your welcome emails

play05:43

and offering them a ton of free value education

play05:45

and tips to help them solve their biggest pain point.

play05:48

Now it's time to let them know

play05:49

that you have something to offer them that will

play05:51

make solving their pain point easier, faster

play05:53

or better than if they were to do it all alone.

play05:55

And this is where sales emails come in.

play05:57

So I recommend sending a minimum of 6 sales emails

play06:00

including one to introduce your product and offer.

play06:02

One to educate on the benefits

play06:04

of how it can help your audience.

play06:06

One to showcase social proof and build authority.

play06:08

One to stack the value. One to overcome objections.

play06:11

And finally, one to convey incentive and scarcity.

play06:14

Now, all of these emails will have a call to action

play06:16

or button that will link directly back to the final part

play06:20

of your sales funnel where they will hopefully convert

play06:23

and buy from you.

play06:24

And that is step number six, a sales page.

play06:26

So this is where you present them

play06:28

with your amazing offer and turn their interest into desire.

play06:31

And then of course, action.

play06:32

Now, yes, this is the big one that most brands

play06:35

and businesses are focused on getting right, simply

play06:37

because this is the page that actually sells the product

play06:39

or service AKA where you finally make some money.

play06:42

And listen, there are tons and tons

play06:44

of sales page formulas that you can find online

play06:46

but over my decade of experience in the marketing world

play06:48

I have found this 10 step formula to be the winner time

play06:51

and time again.

play06:52

Now, this quick checklist includes 10 conversion triggers

play06:55

that I always look for when reviewing copy to build trust

play06:58

boost authority, and ignite sales.

play07:00

And you can grab your free copy

play07:01

of this checklist in just a second.

play07:02

play07:06

made meet millions of dollars, traffic, landing page

play07:09

high value lead magnet, indoctrination emails,

play07:12

play07:16
