Transcripts
today while sitting on my toilet on July
6th 2024 I had a realization my great
great great-grandfather didn't even have
a toilet where he could contemplate the
mysteries of the universe maybe he also
faced his existential crisis at 24 but
unlike me he was squatting in the woods
probably fearing for his life from wild
animals by the way I'm 24 right now and
have been grappling with existential
issues since the day I was born it's as
if I emerged into this world with crisis
mode fully activated I remember when I
was in college I had this huge project
due in 2 weeks despite knowing how
important it was I found myself
endlessly scrolling through social media
binge watching shows and convincing
myself that I'd start tomorrow Tomorrow
never came and I ended up pulling an all
nighter stressed and exhausted this
cycle of procrastination was familiar to
me but I didn't understand why I kept
falling into it and this was the Story
of My Life
anyways after college life didn't offer
much Clarity I didn't know why I was
here how to socialize properly or what I
should do with my life distracted and
Confused would be the perfect words to
describe my state but now looking at
Modern Life I realized we're all
distracted and ungrateful AF we have
clean water homes and all the
conveniences our great great
grandfathers could only dream
about yet despite all this we're still
unhappy
most of us are perpetually chasing
something more that we don't even know
something that will finally fulfill our
life without realizing that goal is much
closer than we
think in this video you'll not only
learn how to unfuck your life but also
how to hack your brain's perception and
overcome the constant flow of negativity
surrounding you we'll explore what's
draining your mental and spiritual
energy who's been lying to you and how
Modern Life could be much simpler than
you think let's start by outl in what
we'll cover today changing your whole
perception entering the present
[Music]
[Music]
at the same time you are crossing the
road watching his Lambo Glide by and you
think to yourself this guy has made it
but what you don't see is that on his
way to that meeting the millionaire is
depressed and overwhelmed by the weight
of his
problems meanwhile you're heading home
feeling bad that you don't own a
Lamborghini convinced that your life is
lacking but here's the thing for money
laws influencers to even this very video
Everything has layers that aren't
immediately visible visible by the way
you can watch me live edit these videos
on Twitch when you realize that
appearances can be deceiving you start
to see through the Illusions this shift
in perspective allows you to focus on
what truly matters so next time your
favorite Guru starts yelling that you're
not good enough try to find his
underlying reason why he is yelling does
he really love you or has a good
marketing strategy to sell you his
course and even if people around are
actually doing much better than you
great good for them your time will come
understanding the power of perception is
key to un [Â __Â ] your life as
perception is literally
everything Henry Ford famously said
whether you think you can or you think
you can't you're right emphasizing how
much attitude determines success or
failure possibly even more than we could
previously imagine improving your
perception begins with awareness the
first step is to recognize that your
current Viewpoint might be limited or
biased start by acknowledging that your
thoughts and feelings are just that
thoughts and feelings not absolute
truths question the sources of your
information look for evidence and
consider alternative
viewpoints developing critical thinking
skills helps you to discern the
difference between appearance and
reality and makes you less susceptible
to
manipulation along the way start
cultivating curiosity as it is another
powerful tool in enhancing perception
when you encounter new information or
perspectives instead of dis missing them
outright take a moment to explore and
understand them I like to call this
neither arrogant nor naive
approach two start living in the present
moment you have probably heard this
phrase many times live in the present or
live in the moment but this advice is so
simplistic we often don't know what it
even means well let me clarify why is
living in the present moment a cheat
code to
and anxiety caused by dwelling on the
past or worrying about the future this
naturally gives you the edge for further
understanding try this simple exercise
lay on your bed and try to think about
the last time you successfully predicted
a future event that would occur in your
life your prediction rate would be so
low that even when you did predict
correctly comparing it to the many times
you didn't it would lead to the
conclusion that you are bad at
predicting that's why it is important to
navigate life in such a way that you
focus on the current moment and the
process itself rather than the past and
potential
outcomes think about it like this when
you compare the most successful people
with the average person you will come to
the conclusion that successful people
are obsessed with winning days they
understand that the more days they win
the more weeks they will win
consequently the more weeks they win the
more months they will win and finally
the more months they win the more years
they will win it's a simple micro and
macro strategy that works on every level
by focusing on the present moment and
winning each day you set yourself up for
long-term success it's about taking
control of the now making the most out
of each day and letting those small
victories compound into significant
achievements after all you are supposed
to be a warrior not a
warrior three unfuck your brain improve
focus and eliminate
procrastination before we can tackle
procrastination we need to understand
what focus is and why we tend to
procrastinate focus is the ability to
direct your attention and energy towards
a particular task without getting
distracted it's about being fully
present and engaged in the activity at
hand but on the contrary being
distracted is a flow of confusion low
cognitive ability and overall low energy
state
imagine this if most of the hours you
spent on social media scrolling through
useless distractions or directed at
reading books or mastering a skill you
would literally become top 1% in that
field I'm going to make a whole separate
video on this topic so I won't go into
extreme detail here but let's get this
straight distraction is [Â __Â ] our
lives so badly that we aren't even aware
of how many hours we are donating to it
rather than focusing on endless
consumption we should ultimately focus
on creation for instance instead of
endlessly scrolling through social media
first thing in the morning start working
on a personal project whether it's
writing drawing building something or
learning a new skill and only use social
media later in the day after you've
conquered your daily duties creation not
only helps you grow as an individual but
also gives you a sense of accomplishment
and purpose that passive consumption
cannot provide by cutting down on
distractions and focusing on creating
rather than consuming you'll find
yourself with more time time more energy
and a greater sense of fulfillment four
identify your direction in life in
Modern Life chasing everything that is a
trend has become a trend itself you've
probably noticed a bunch of people
trying to get rich get jacked become
popular whatever the latest fat is
everything you desire you probably saw
somewhere on the internet and have the
feeling that if you had that thing you
would feel better and your life would be
on an upward trajectory unfortunately
that's not how Life Works humans are
adaptable creatures and whatever we have
we get used to it pretty fast in the
grand scheme of things reaching the goal
itself is not the ultimate goal the real
goal is to learn how to enjoy the
process first and only then reach your
desired
State someone famously said a man who
loves walking will walk further than the
man who loves the
destination if we hate the process the
whole point of reaching the goal loses
its meaning however before starting ask
yourself why you are seeking a different
life and who you are trying to become
understanding your why is essential for
discovering your true purpose the
perfect example would be maso's
hierarchy of needs pyramid where he
explains five different aspects of human
need for fulfilling life these needs are
physiological needs such as air water
and food safety needs such as owning a
property and having a stable income
love and belonging which includes family
friendships romance and generally a
sense of connection esteem which
involves recognition Freedom respect and
self-esteem and finally
self-actualization which is a desire to
become the most you can be by
understanding where you are on this
hierarchy you can better identify what
you need to focus on to find your
purpose and in theory if one fulfills
all five he has by definition [Â __Â ] his
life after discovering that which is
what you need the next step is to set a
clear Direction your direction should
align with something called iyy which is
Japanese for reason to live to discover
iyy AKA unfuck your life you must find
something you are obsessed with what the
world needs what you can get paid for
and what you are good at simple isn't it
conclusion in today's video we've went
through the Landscapes of perception
present living and purpose to find our
footing in a world that can often seem
overwhelming the key to all of this
isn't just in knowing but in doing take
what you've learned and put it into
practice towards something meaningful
day by day because it's in these moments
that you will truly start to live free
until next time take care
