in welcome to the set of Aladin
Joe welcome back to the Vlogs very
excited very big announcements obviously
you might be familiar with it already
our daughter has been born so when I
started filming this Vlog she hadn't
been born yet and it was actually 3
weeks until she was going to be born and
then all of a sudden she just announced
her early arrival in this video we were
going to the hospital to check up on
othera and during that routine checkup
which we do once a week the last month
of AA pregnancy they told us like the
fluid inside av's belly had been
lowering so much that the maybe needed
to be born earlier and thank God we went
on that routine check to figure all that
out and I was going to show you guys our
new luggage which was sent to us by
level eight for our daughter super cool
nice color very soft uh but we just
couldn't unbox it normally so we just
had to unbox one of the luggages and we
actually used this luggage with all our
stuff going to the hospital when we were
giving birth so can already vouch for
the quality of it but I wanted to show
you guys the lug AG which they have sent
us from level eight we also have an
existing set of level eight suitcases uh
in yellow which I travel to Italy with
last summer finally we have a set of
luggages for our daughter as well me and
my wife we are full-time Travelers and
we don't plan to stop traveling anytime
soon so let's begin this video by
looking at the luggage that is given to
us and our daughter I wanted to show you
kind of what it looks like when you get
it also because it comes in this very
nice pouch
ta wooo this is nice because depending
on how much you travel you can keep the
luggage in your closet inside this pouch
when you don't travel or you can simply
use it for something else I don't know
whatever you want to do oo is it all
black what's the color of this ooh all
black I think this is what going to
happen here I actually thought this was
going to be blue but I actually love
that it's black because that means this
will be daddy's luggage and this will be
my daughter's luggage perfect now we
just need a luggage for the mom as well
but I love it okay so let's talk a
little bit about level eight so if you
guys like these luggages there's going
to be a link in description where you
can shop them yourself they have it in
all different types of colors designs
but I wanted to highlight some of the
key things about these luggages which
make them unique from other competitors
so this is the Voyager travel set from
level eight this is the check-in luggage
and this is the carry on they both come
in five different colors and this is the
kerodon color and this is the black one
one unique thing is the 360 spinner
wheels on both of the luggages and this
hard aluminum handlebar which is super
wide look at that that is so rare to see
especially on a check-in luggage the
material surrounding the luggages is
hard shell high quality material and
when you open them up they're also very
spacious inside so sipper compartment on
both sides just going to quickly show
you the inside oh nice that's nice
without stretching this too much out you
guys get the idea these luggage are very
very nice a thing that I don't see that
often I've had something like 10
different luggages and I've never seen
this this is very nice just this small
internal compartment you can kind of
Stack shoes here and you have this
seethrough pocket also not so common
very very nice here you can have things
that you need to access very fast when
you come to your hotel and also the
check-in has the same thing so I would
say here you get a lot of luggage for
your money doesn't break your bank high
quality stuff I've tested these myself
on my vacation Italy with my mom and my
stepdad last summer and I can definitely
say it's high quality durable stuff and
I can't wait for my daughter to push her
own luggage very soon so thank you to
the team at level eight for supporting
team Marva on our adventure we can't
wait to do some small trips out of
Manila very very soon most likely we're
going to do some small road trips then
we're going to slowly do some national
flights before going out of the country
maybe in a couple of months who knows we
have to figure those things out well
welcome to the video guys and let's jump
to the beginning where it all started
before things kind of came out of
nowhere and we gave birth 3 weeks

ago it's the weekend
everyone and I just have to say how
happy I become every time I walk into
the kitchen and see this in our backyard
truly a blessing and I running this
morning morning she made the pancakes
but she forgot the bacon your
request I actually do this thing called
intermediate fasting which means I don't
eat breakfast but in the weekends I want
to first time in years I have the
weekend Concept in my mind man love it
oh did we highlight our new chairs on
the vlogging thank you garage Shale M
look at these we got three red bar
stools perfect for this little kitchen
aisle that we have here cake time and
bacon have you tried this pancake and
bacon like salty and sweet this was my
favorite when I was a child oh okay yeah
perfect
combinations and then you put the oh my
God to all the fitness people out there
you must be oh my god oh no you know
it's guess what it's the
weekend sorry we're not eating salad all
the
time I feel like that's what people kind
of like ask you to do but I'm happy eat
whatever I want as long as it's balanced
yeah that's the key right yeah you can
eat whatever you want as long as it's
balanced and makes you happy too
right hi there PST yeah second
lunch we're still waiting for the
results so about 40 minutes to 1 hour
and then
going to have a round to the best part
is they said that the baby is in normal
size it's not that big so that means I
can still eat more and I've been running
around here on the billing section of
the hospital to try to figure out how
much it's going to cost to give birth in
the Philippines so it looks like it's
going to be between 3 and 4,000 us with
a private room so I mean if you're
coming from Norway you're like wow
that's crazy because in Norway giving
birth is Free Works a little bit
different here obviously this is a very
very nice hospital so the price is also
reflected in that you can get it cheaper
other places and there's also options
you can do you know you can do a
four-way bedroom like this one with four
people
sharing or you can do a private one so
there's different options so yeah it can
range from $22,000 all the way up to
$6,000 with a private room like it's
crazy so you really have to pick and
choose what you want but we are very
confident in this uh Hospital Asian
Hospital which is so close to where we
live we really like it here and yeah
we're excited almost
there look at her
face so this is her
profile yeah but the placenta is very
close to her face so you can't really
see the nose but I can tell that she
probably got it from her papa because if
it was from me you won't see any
nose this is her eyes it's open you see
it yeah it's like and we finally
confirmed like it's it's a girl they
really confirmed it
[Music]
and so it was
done I don't know what happened to me
but when I got out of the hospital I
suddenly had allergies so I'm wearing a
mask right
now but we are very proud Tokyo is home
with us now yeah this is going to be her
room M oh my God you can as you can
imagine we're a bit tired this process
is uh the learning Ur goes like this
yeah we just found out that we're going
to give birth 4 days ago which supposed
to be 3 weeks ahead of time so clearly
we didn't really had like some
preparations or uh we weren't mentally
ready yeah we were getting ready but we
it was just so much information all in
four days and so much like feeling mixed
feelings but all in all we're very happy
that everyone took care of us around of
us the only thing that I would say that
has been quite frustrating was the birth
certificate it took you what 3 hours
yeah a little difficult yeah yeah just
to complete it because right before I
entered the operating room we filled out
the form as par parents and what our
daughter's name would be and everything
was clear I thought going to be um just
be handing out to us but then when
Martin went to the what do you call that
medical document yeah the medical
documentation area there were a lot of
misspellings incorrect dates like our
wedding yeah U Martin's address my
address my um my name my middle name and
it's just these are things that are so
important because it's a first document
that she will have in her entire life so
birth certificate is very important to
make sure that whenever you apply for
passports IDs you know other things that
is the first thing that they will ask
Yeah so basically what Ava did was she
told me make sure you double check
everything and I did that three times
and that's a tip for you guys triple
check your birth certificate because it
could be full of mistakes and sometimes
you need a port order to change it so it
gets
[Music]
complicated good
morning
morning so every day we have to do this
sun exposure for sun for 10 minutes 10
minutes in front 10 minutes at the back
uhuh should be from 6 to 88 8
so we're officially
Three exciting times so this is Tokyo
Amilia you guys want to see the full
story of how she was brought into the
world it wasn't a straightforward
process then check out aa's birth vog so
proud of Mama for
everything and we are figuring out how
to be
[Music]
parents oh today Tokyo is getting her
first home bag and Lola and AA is Bing
her in the dining room cuz we cannot be
inside an air condition room and Lola
Lola is
observing Observer let's
see good
morning hello how beautiful you are
[Music]
[Music]
to all future dads out
there it's harder than what you
think but at the same time so rewarding
learning curve is like we're doing a
burping session now so after every time
Mama feeds dad needs to come in and make
sure the baby burps gentle tap on the
back she can go to sleep
[Music]
okay let's
see this is day four at home and I
haven't been vlogging until now because
it's honestly been a full-time job
trying to figure out everything regulate
the temperature in the room figuring out
the diaper situation but we got a pretty
good setup here so I'm excited finding
my role as a new dad you know it's my
first child hopefully a many Tokyo
Amelia abalon Soul Hogan gorgeous little
girl fills my heart every time I look at
her but at the same time it's a lot of
work I'm an entrepreneur so it's not
like I just take out like a dad
leave so I'm like trying to juggle
everything right now which is the
biggest challenge but for her it's worth
it
m
[Music]
[Music]
[Applause]
good morning hi everyone wow let me see
what I look like yeah that's exactly how
I
feel oh my God I look like I haven't
slept much and I haven't oh a it how's
it going for you I'm leaking oh
yeah yeah but I can tell them right you
know this is the reality of motherhood
I'm pretty sure a lot of women who
breast fed their child can relate to
this sometimes you know gets swollen and
it's really painful right now or your
baby latches like differently so you get
bruises from
it but it's part of it you know like
when you see the little baby you're
holding her feeding her can't stay mad
you can't get mad now I am eating before
she cries I'm going to do everything
that I need to do welcome to Daddy
Martin
Workshop the queen or the princess is
finally sleeping I mean it hasn't been
easy I'm not going to lie taking me by
surprise of how difficult it is but uh
you know all you need is like 30 minutes
to an hour of rest and you feel good
again it's just sometimes it takes 3 to
4 hours to put the baby back to sleep
and that's challenging especially for
someone like me who's built their
business on Precision Time and always
delivery it's very hard when you can't
predict your day but enough about that
let's get to work finally I have some
time to do some of the things that my
wife have told me to do for a couple of
months yeah we're going to be putting up
the stroller that was given to us by our
friend Jerick and we're also going to be
putting up what is this thing really
it's like a it's like a b bouncer
bcer I don't know what you really call
it but we'll figure it out so OB his mom
now Lola has went out and bought the
batteries that we need for this little
thing I'm not sure what it does
let's see kind of exciting when
you discover A Whole New World Of
Products that you never really you seen
a battery like that before no never this
time oh okay in nor way they're flat so
the whole bed is going Shake oh that
makes sense and
then oh my
God so we're going to put this on here
and then ooh look at this thing how cool
is that oh she gets strapped in yep
amazing CU our baby's getting a little
stronger now she's what 5 days old 4
days and it's crazy from she was born
till now and then this goes over yeah
all
right this is so cool I hope uh I hope
Amelia would like this but oh there yeah
cute look at that thing look at that
good job what a cool baby product so
What's this called a bouncer or S
something like that let's see if the
baby likes
it have you seen such a cute thing okay
let's try
it oh yeah it vibrates it vibrates oh
yeah oh yeah she's going to love that
actually I hope so task one completed
first first real dad tasks done I'm
proud of myself Papa fixed it w off to
project number two but before that this
is called the baby Soo and it has like a
lot of sound so you can play for the
baby so maybe because in the beginning
it's like if you just feed them they
will fall asleep but the more mature
they get or the more they grow they get
harder because it's not just food it's
they also want to be
entertained challenged the only way to
do that is to like use stuff like this
let's
try let's see what type of sounds it can
make I'll show it to you guys so this is
what it looks like let's try the kissing
oh no
[Music]
it's and then this is
heartbeat okay so this is pretty cool
you can turn it on and have it in when
the baby cries mode listen to
this
[Music]
hey operation stroller I think the first
thing we should do is just put out all
the things we
have hey
yes yes Amilia where do you want to go
there you have it dad's
Workshop I think we can all agree that
once we're finished it's really really
nice I feel accomplished now I think my
wife is going to be very happy too okay
thanks Jerick so much for gifting us
this baby stroller to the soul hogen
family we're very excited to try it yeah
let's get on with the day let's see what
else will be thrown in my lap that I
have no idea about this is working
really well thank you Vina and Tito jigs
for this
gift it's really fun yeah we like it and
the baby seems to be very calm from it
how's it going for you oven yeah she's
she's um calming down I would say so oh
speaking of I think she's done I think
she's done I'll be right back guys I'm
GNA show you something cool over here
after Mama feeds her it's Papa's turn M
this is our Rose I feed her Martin does
the burping and also the the diaper
change oh did she burp she did and Sheed
some other things too good job
a
then it's a little Restless
mm- and so we Martin tries to burp her
in different ways sometimes he's sitting
sometimes he's standing it depends on
her mood as well sometimes she likes it
when Papa burps her here on his
shoulders sometimes it's like that yeah
she gets a little fussy when there's a
lot of um gas a lot of um air you know
can't come out the best one is really up
here
[Music]
yeah don't even up going to get your gas
relax the thing is the reason why she's
more gassy than usual is because we've
been feeding her formula since yesterday
it's because I cannot produce enough
milk because I think I give birth too
early I'm not sure if that's a thing or
it's just too early for my milk to
produce but I've been trying my best
eating a lot of malonga soupy vegetable
dishes chicken drinking lots of water
but you know that's only what my body
can produce and have to accept that it
was actually hard because I really want
to breastfeed her all throughout but I
cannot produce it so that's one thing
that I wasn't really prepared I thought
I it'll be easy for me but no
now she is relaxing now because Papa's
here oh my God guys it's been hardest
night so far my wife was an angel to me
said said she said it's time for you to
sleep I'll handle this but she was just
we couldn't get the baby to sleep for
like 5 hours from 3:00 a.m. till 7:00
a.m. that was the hardest night I
personally got a lot of sleep she's
exhausted so now it's my turn figured
out if I'm spending time here in this
part of the garden probably here if
she's starting to cry though I think
that's where I'm this is where I'm going
to stay now outside get advantage of
this beautiful garden that we have in
the back yard there's this saying that
it takes a village to raise a kid and
that makes sense to me right now because
I mean we've been getting so much help
from everyone especially from immediate
family which goes a long way I didn't
think it was going to be that much like
different to be honest but it's just
that when everything is new to you you
have to learn everything and you don't
really know what's going on what if the
child is okay so having people with
experience come in and kind of tell you
a couple things there really helps it's
also one of those things where you don't
want all of your friends just crash your
house because it's a very intimate and
private moment in the in the first
couple of months yeah that's something
that we're feeling but um you know we're
very happy we're very happy now things
are kind of settling in and we have some
checkups now in the coming weeks so
hopefully that will be good but to today
we have aa's best friend Ana coming over
she has experience with having children
so hopefully we'll learn something from
her
today she went she went to bed after um
sun bathing
Sun hi Papa's going to check your diaper
first oh good morning
M
hello oh there's
peee shall we change it then hi my shall
we go there now then or you want me to
go and stay T to prepare uh Lia Li okay
Toyo is now awake it's bath time the
Midwife in the hospital said that we
need to bathe her before 12:00 noon and
every day during summer time if it's
rainy season it can be every other day
but because it's quite hot for the the
past couple of days in summertime we do
it every day there it
is I actually don't like it when she
cries it it breaks my heart let's find
her on
outfit show show time show time show for
our
favor this is your duty after I after I
put um like soap with her it's it's your
turn okay
[Music]
wow I need to feed her now give her a
reward because You' been such a good
girl know you've been such a good girl
you're such a good girl funny when I met
you I never knew you were going to be
the M my baby good job that wasn't easy
but yeah we got it done girl in the red
dress
fresh hardest part about post morm
postpartum
postpartum what is it called postpartum
postpartum oh postpartum well um first I
didn't expect that I'll be cesarian yeah
so I think it's just the peeing part I
cannot let my bladder be full so
whenever I drink something a few minutes
or an hour I need to go to the bathroom
or else it'll be super painful
especially when I walk I guess it's
because the bladder is so hopeful that
my stitches are also expanding I don't
know the science behind that and then
actually I like show to shower but I
need to have a plastic chair oh yeah
yeah inside the bathroom I need to sit
on it so yeah I also didn't know that my
breast will be like so big and painful I
guess that but all in all I am happy
that Martin is so helpful it's nice that
we're here in the Philippines because we
can get a help from you know our family
and also hire a
helper yes it's really important if if
you make a decision whether you wanted
to do it abroad or in the Philippines
that's also the top reason why we
decided to do it here it's because I
know that I will be depressed if we do
it in Norway I think I would be too it's
a lot of work yeah and the weather as
well so add to that just nice by the way
shout out to all Norwegians who managed
to do it all by your yeah wow especially
like single moms you know I can imagine
I was like thinking about it can you
imagine I'm so happy I mean shout out to
anyone really who managed to do it by
themselves we have help and we're we're
exhausted so can you imagine this is how
Alla walks guys yeah very slow but
surely like a
turtle so this is our mini condo welcome
yeah welcome to the mini condo yeah it's
pretty nice because it has air
conditioner there there and when we
close this it's like always 22° inside
here that's the temperature we figured
out it's the most comfortable for the
baby mhm now you need to help me with my
binder okay see you later guys this is
what at thei prepared for us look at
that the signature chicken Cory yeah we
call it chicken Corey because she breads
the chicken so good and she fries it and
it just feels more healthy than when you
buy it outside so you really love it and
you know this is huge because I'm
sitting over here and working Ava is
taking care of the baby and there's just
not enough time left in the day to
really make up for it so having the help
is one of the few things that allow us
to keep going now um and not completely
like flat out which is very important
and everything we're doing so um
grateful for Corey Cory if you're
watching M K Corey I cannot eat there
with you because it's too low so this
one is perfect thank you garage sale
for this it's so nice because like when
I go there I just push it you know
wherever I go so while the baby is
sleeping we take advantage of that and
do things that is difficult to do when
she's awake cuz she has all of our
attention both of us you know at least
one of us I mean we try we are by no
means perfect but we try yeah thank you
ooh frh Coca-Cola for me FR soda after
giving birth cheers I deserve this you
deserve
[Music]
it and just to give you guys a little
reality check I'm not even done eating
she's not even done eating and this was
like we had 10 15 minutes and then we
heard
something and now mama is she's just
done breeding yeah and we're we have to
do this her cuz if not she gets a hiccup
or she gets gassy that makes her little
cranky yeah or fussy you know you're
doing great Mama thank you this is
something that I learned for 6 days now
it's her six happy sixth day baby

exciting that's awesome when you have a
landlord that sends you stuff just like
this I mean when we moved in here we
didn't even know we were pregnant and
one of our reasons for getting this
place was that we wanted to start a
family and it's happening we're getting
there so Amelia just received her first
