hey friends uh it's beenin Ruki here um

I just wanted to make a quick video um

we're coming to the end of the Early

Access and tomorrow the game will

officially be launched for everyone and

I wanted to make a uh a little video

just giving out um a a little bit of a

checklist maybe some tips for the people

that haven't got into the game yet um

just to give you guys um some idea of

where I'm at uh um during the pre patch

I I have four characters maxed out so

I've got my Mage I've got my warrior

I've got my monk and I've got my evoker

and honestly it's been a lot of fun the

leveling has been super quick uh which

is really nice um you know there's

there's mixed feedback about that some

people want kind of a little longer

leveling experience uh I'm really happy

with the quick one and uh the reason for

that is I feel like there's enough

content at max level that if you kind of

like that exploration you know you want

to get your Renown up there's lots of

solo content you can do there's tons of

quests in the zone so even if you do hit

max level there's still a ton for you to

discover and play around with and and

mess with and do so my my my own

personal opinion is the quick leveling

has been nice but yeah I just wanted to

um you know a lot of people who watch my

channel on Twitch and on YouTube uh

primarily pvpers so maybe give you guys

a little bit of an idea uh when you're

starting tomorrow of um you know some

tips and tricks and suggestions and uh

maybe just point you in the right

direction of things that you should do

so if that sounds like something that's

interesting to you you uh stay tuned

that's what is coming so the first thing

that I wanted to recommend um is

downloading an add-on uh which is

helpful for a couple different reasons

but if you guys do not have handy notes

I highly recommend you get it you can

just download it on curse Forge it's

called handy notes and make sure you get

the war within uh package as well so you

want handy notes and the war within um

this is going to do a few different

things but mostly just highlight

important things on your map uh it's

very convenient when you're exploring

the world to know how to um you know

find certain Treasures um find specific

things like if you do end up getting a

profession it'll show you in each Zone

where you can basically get free

skillups you know stuff like that um

which I think was very helpful for me

and I would recommend it to you so just

right away before you even start some

more if you guys see this video get that

handy notes it's very useful um your

starting point if you're feeling

overwhelmed if you're feeling behind I

just want you to know you you really you

shouldn't um a lot of the people that

have been playing in the Early Access

like myself we're kind of looking for

things to do you know we're looking for

things to do right now and I for one I'm

just excited for more people to kind of

get into the game um that's that's what

I'm looking forward to but basically

your experience is going to be this

you're going to log on you're going to

start with the campaign okay and what I

recommend you do is you do the full

campaign uh if you guys have been

watching twitch you've probably seen

people spamming dungeons um dungeons are

definitely not a bad thing to do and

they're certainly good for leveling up

your alt uh but for the first time

through for lots of different reasons

primarily you know actually experiencing

the story and uh you know discovering

all the

zones uh it's useful for unlocking um

various things including World quests

which I think are going to be very

important I think if you are wanting to

kind of minmax your gear having the

access to the world quest and getting

World PVP throughout the beginning of

the Season uh is definitely something

that is worth your while so I would

highly recommend that you just kind of

focus on the campaign primarily

um the next thing um I I wanted just a

quick reminder as well if you're someone

that likes to play alts make sure you

log on all of your characters and start

getting rested experience I'm not sure

if you've been able to do that in the

pre- patch like if you did not get the

Early Access maybe you have been able to

acquire that rested experience if you

haven't just log on your characters for

one second make sure you're in a rested

Zone and just at least get that rested

experience rolling so that's just a

quick little reminder for

that um I wanted to talk about war mode

as well so if you just getting in uh to

um the game you're obviously going to

have a little bit of an different

experience right like your experience is

going to be with a bunch of max level

people and those people might be already

flying around trying to gather resources

you know fight for World PVP objectives

and you're going to have a big

disadvantage it's an unfortunate reality

but it's a reality so I just wanted to

make the suggestion if you guys are Str

first of all I would say start with war

mode and depending on what happens don't

be afraid to shut it off like if you're

having a bad experience and you're

getting ganked and that's frustrating

you just want to level just immediately

shut off War mode that's my number one

suggestion to you I really think there's

going to be people out there that aren't

so friendly they're going to be looking

to gank loobies and uh you can actually

just completely protect yourself by

shutting off War mode there'll be plenty

of PVP to come but at least for like the

initial stages I think save yourself a

lot a headache by just disabling it you

can start with it on see how it goes

maybe it's going to be totally fine but

if it isn't just remember you can opt

out just disable the war mode and uh get

into it um another thing that I wanted

to um kind of shout out is grab your

professions early so you're you're going

to start and then you you'll end up

getting to the capital city which is

dagal pretty quick when you get here um

you can pick up your professions I

myself went with Mining and Jewel

crafting uh a lot of people are opting

for those Gathering professions that can

be quite lucrative if you're really

consistent with it of course they do

give experience um leveling up your

professions can give you experience with

crafted bonuses etc etc so maybe look

into the ones you want to do uh if

you're really lazy I think you can do

tailoring you can just pick up tailoring

and if you have tailoring it makes it so

the monsters you kill drop cloth as far

as I know and I think that's the only

way you can actually get cloth now is by

having tailoring and uh killing monsters

I could be wrong about that but I I'm

like 99% sure that I am right so if

you're looking for super lazy

professions uh tailoring might be one um

that interests you so you could pick

that up um first aid is uh pretty good

as well it heals for a lot in this

expansion so if you want some of those

cell heals not necessary for really

leveling up but maybe for PVP in the

future it is something you can grab as

well now as you're doing the campaign

when you hit level 71 you're going to

have the option to cue for dungeons um

if you are a tank you're a Healer you're

a DPS um I don't mind the idea of

queuing for some dungeons as you go

through the campaign okay so as you're

going through the campaign you can cue

some dungeons you just have to be um

wary of the fact that you're going to

hit 80 really quick if all you do is

dungeons it's going to be super fast so

what I would do if I was you is maybe

weave in one dungeon um you know two

dungeons per Zone something like that

and that should easily get you to level

80 so like while you're questing in this

Zone maybe Q for one or two dungeons

accept that and then stop and just wait

till you're in the next Zone maybe Q for

one or two dungeons do the campaign um

etc etc and those eight dungeons that

you do should really carry you for to be

80 really really quickly you might even

have to do less than that but in general

the campaign it doesn't take that long

maybe like four or 5 hours if you're

really dialed in and if you it's going

to take a little longer if you do

dungeons of course but you should easily

be able to hit um level 80 at that point

okay so once you uh oh another thing

while you're leveling if you do opt for

war mode this is more PVP specific now

so that was kind of the intro for like

leveling and stuff but more PVP

specific um make

sure that while you are leveling you're

picking up the uh War crates I think

it's at least worth trying to fight for

them because they can have some

lucrative rewards in there they can have

recipes they can have honor and you can

start acquiring your honor as you level

up if you are playing with that war mode

so that is something to just look out

for in the zones uh when the guy does

the shout out for them you can look at

your map you'll see a little airplane

flying over the map and uh you can go

fight for it if you want maybe have some

fun with World PVP if you're not doing

War mode that will not show up so just

keep that in mind okay boom now we're

max level what do you do when you are

max level

now primarily you're just going to be

doing Battlegrounds so Battlegrounds is

going to be Battlegrounds and doing

World PVP Quest will probably be um the

number one way to get gear and also the

war chest so the war supplies that are

being dropped in the zones you're going

to be wanting to hunt for those of

course you're going to be wanting to CU

Battlegrounds um you're going to be

wanting to do the world PVP Quest and

that's going to be a good way for you to

start acquiring honor now something

really important to note is you

need uh a specific type of gear to well

not specific but you need at least

535 items in each slot now just hear me

out I'm going to show you okay so you

can see that I have this gear right here

this helmet this is the algari

competitor cloth Hood it's a very

expensive item okay it's it SC SC to 613

item level in PvP so you would think

this is the best thing to get and it is

besides honor this is the best thing to

get but it is extremely expensive okay

so if you are a baller you have a lot of

gold you're dropping the wow tokens and

you don't care you can just buy this

gear that's going to put you in a very

good spot to start farming uh

Battlegrounds if you do not want to

spend that you can pick up items like

this so just go to the auction house and

you can just search for uh any item in

the slot so you can search for helmet a

neck shoulders whatever it is as long as

the item is 535 or higher it will

actually scale to 600 item level in bgs

which isn't great but it's better than

nothing like if you have at least 600

you can kind of play the game like it

it's going to be okay and that's what

I've been doing um it is likely that

when you know uh you get in there a lot

of people are going to be having higher

item level but you at least want that

600 item level if you can't afford to

get um these green algari gear

um that would be my recommendation to

you so if you want to just start getting

your honor gearing right away in

Battlegrounds it will scale you up to

600 item level um for example this neck

it's 548 when I get into a Battleground

it goes up to 600 okay so that is

important to note The Next Step Up from

that will be the algari gear and then

the next step up from that is going to

be honor gear after that it's a world

PVP gear which will not be unlocked okay

there will be no world PVP gear as far

as I know there might be blue World PVP

gear but I don't think so um but I could

be wrong about that we we'll have to

wait and see um but if it is available

the blue PVP gear will out but I'm

pretty sure the Epic isn't and I'm

pretty sure Conquest is not unlocked so

that is not going to be an option um

you're basically all you're going to be

wanting to do once we hit max level and

all everyone else is going to be able to

do is basically level up your characters

before the season starts Farm out as

much honor gear as possible now a few

little extra tips that I want to give is

make sure you guys use PVP trinkets okay

you are going to be tempted you're going

to be tempted with these uh trinkets

like these 548 trinkets you know maybe

you'll get something higher I really

don't recommend that you do use them um

my suggestion to you would still be

using the set bonus so use the set bonus

on your trinkets ideally if you're going

to splurge on any green pieces you get

these green trinkets um so if you want

to splurge on something or you want to

spend your honor on something really

really quickly picking up the trinkets

is good for the bonus gives you a lot of

main stat you know a lot of haste on

this one for example um but I have been

playing with just the old ones so I'm

playing with the draconic Gladiator ones

as well because you still get that set

bonus right you get the 12% intellect

and the 5% stamina uh of course you get

the ability to break out of crowd

control so even at a lower item level I

really recommend you use those two

trinkets um so yeah you can pick those

up you can buy them from the auction

house or just use the ones that you had

in the past if you don't have have them

at all you're going to be at a

disadvantage but I would get them as

fast as

possible and uh that'll put you in a

pretty good spot uh another thing I

wanted to shout out really really

quickly is a new item that they've added

to the game this is something that a lot

of people don't know about um that

people are recently discovering but

they've actually added a new flask to

the game pretty sure it's called vicious

flask um yeah so it's called a vicious

flask of Honor um I would buy these up

as fast as possible cuz I have a I have

a feeling that you know the vicious

flask and the vicious flask of honor and

the vicious flash of the wrecking ball

these are going to and there's another

one here dring to increase your Mana

regeneration by 8% whenever you have not

cast a beneficial spell um yeah so

there's there's these different ones

there's there's three of them right now

I do suspect that they're all going to

be going up in price so if you guys want

to get ahead of the curve when you get

on when you get to the capital city buy

these in advance um because I do think

think and I have no financial interest

in this I'm not telling you to buy them

because I'm making them I genuinely

think it's a good strategy to know buy a

bunch of these flasks if you have the

goal for it uh just as an investment um

to get your your honor gains

significantly faster uh when you start

getting into those

Battlegrounds and uh the only other

thing that I would suggest that I have

really been taking advantage of is you

know while you're sitting those

Battleground cues if you're looking for

something to do exploring the maps so

just make you have make sure you have

the maps totally explored is going to

give you the option so all all four maps

of course all four of the new zones if

you fully explore them um it's going to

give you the option to go with the old

um flying now the old flying is slower

okay it's a slow and steady flight but

for Gathering

specifically um I've really really been

enjoying it so that's another thing that

it's just random it's not really PVP

spec specific uh but it is uh incredibly

helpful um if you are gathering I find

it much better to be flying around with

this

um but that's more of like a Max Level

thing but yeah hopefully this video was

uh helpful I I I kind of wanted to make

it just to make people feel a little bit

more reassured with what's going on you

know don't be too stressed out about all

these things you have to do don't too

don't feel too far behind it's fairly

straightforward we're all going to be

essentially in the same spot in about a

week um you know what I mean if you're

just leveling up one character you're

going to hit max level really really

quickly you're going to be able to start

farming out your honor gear which is a

really quick grind and then everyone's

going to be kind of on an even playing

field so um I'm excited for that of

course I do wish you know looking back I

kind of wish that everyone was uh

starting the game at the same time but

um I do uh take a lot of I am happy at

least that there's not that much that

you can really get ahead on right now

and also it's really really quick to

catch up so yeah just have fun with the

game um I'm sure you guys have been
