The learning objectives include analyzing these strategies to reinforce the principles of monotheism. The lesson will cover how Muhammad became a prophet, his early secretive preaching, and later public proclamation. The speaker emphasizes the importance of understanding the historical context of the Prophet's first revelation in the Cave of Hira and his encounter with Angel Gabriel.
🌟 The First Revelation and the Beginning of Prophethood
This paragraph details the significant event of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) receiving his first revelation from Angel Gabriel in the Cave of Hira, marking his appointment as a prophet. The speaker narrates how Muhammad, frightened by the encounter, was comforted by his wife, Khadijah, who then consulted her cousin Waraka, an expert in the scriptures. Waraka confirmed that Muhammad’s experience was similar to that of previous prophets, particularly Moses. The revelation of Surah Al-Alaq signaled Muhammad's prophethood, though he was not yet instructed to preach to others.
🔔 The Second Revelation and the Command to Preach
The narrative continues with the second revelation, Surah Al-Muddathir, which confirmed Muhammad’s status as a prophet and commanded him to begin his public mission. Overwhelmed by the divine encounter, Muhammad sought comfort from his wife, who wrapped him in a blanket. This surah instructed him to rise and warn others, marking the beginning of his mission to spread the message of Islam. The Prophet’s preaching initially targeted those closest to him, gradually extending to the wider community.
🌱 The Early Secretive Phase of Preaching
The speaker discusses the early phase of Muhammad’s (PBUH) preaching, characterized by secrecy. During this period, he invited close family, friends, and associates to Islam, resulting in a small group of about 40 early converts, known as Assabiqunal Awwalun. This phase, which lasted 3-4 years, was marked by caution as the Prophet (PBUH) sought to build a strong, foundational group of believers who would later play crucial roles in the spread of Islam.

Muhammad (PBUH) received a command from Allah through Surah Al-Hijr to proclaim the message of Islam openly. This shift brought challenges, including hostility from the Quraysh tribe. A notable incident was Muhammad’s (PBUH) public call at Mount Safa, where he invited the Meccans to worship Allah alone, resulting in opposition from his uncle, Abu Lahab, which led to the revelation of Surah Al-Lahab condemning Abu Lahab.

sembunyi-sembunyi Dan Dakwah secara
terang-terangan
nah ini perlu diingat ya di garis bawahi
dan dicatat Rasulullah Shallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam menerima wahyu pertama
di gua hiro bertepatan dengan malam
Jumat tanggal 17 Romadhon wahyu pertama
yang diterima beliau adalah Quran surah
al-alaq ayat 1 sampai 5
saat itu Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam Tengah berkhalwat di gua
hiro kemudian datanglah Malaikat Jibril
untuk menyampaikan wahyu kepada Nabi
Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
setelah bertemu dengan malaikat jibril
Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam pulang ke rumah dalam keadaan
ketakutan dan gemetar Nabi Muhammad
Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam menceritakan
Segala peristiwa yang terjadi di gua
hiro kepada istrinya Siti Khodijah
Khadijah berusaha menenangkan Nabi
Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
setelah Nabi tenang kemudian Siti
Khodijah memberikan saran kepada nabi
untuk bertemu dengan saudaranya seorang
ahli kitab yang bernama warokoh
warga ini merupakan pemeluk Nasrani yang
juga menguasai bahasa Ibrani nah Ketika
Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam menceritakan segala kejadian
atau peristiwa yang terjadi di gua hiro
waroko membuka kitabnya dan mengatakan
bahwa ini adalah hal yang pernah terjadi
kepada Nabi Musa Alaihissalam Beliau
mengatakan bahwa yang bertemu dengan
Muhammad pada saat itu di gua hiro
adalah malaikat jibril nah ketika
turunnya surah al-alaq ayat 1 sampai 5
Nabi Muhammad belum diperintahkan untuk
menyampaikan risalah Ilahi kepada umat
manusia namun Wahyu tersebut menandakan
Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam telah diangkat menjadi seorang
nabi
setelah menerima wahyu pertama
Wahyu yang ke-2 pun turun Malaikat
Jibril kembali menemui Nabi Muhammad
Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ketika itu
Nabi Muhammad kembali takut ketika
melihat mereka Jibril yang sudah duduk
diantara langit dan bumi Nabi Muhammad
merasa ketakutan dan segera bergegas
pulang ke rumah dan meminta istrinya
untuk menyelimutinya selimutilah diriku
selimutilah aku kata Nabi Muhammad
Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kemudian
turunlah firman Allah yaitu Quran surah
al-muddassir ayat 1 sampai dengan 7
turunnya ayat tersebut menandakan
Muhammad diangkat sebagai nabi dan rasul
Muhammad diberikan perintah untuk
menyampaikan risalah Ilahi Nabi Muhammad
Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam bangkit
mengerjakan perintah Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala yaitu menyeru kepada kaum yang
berhati keras yang tidak beragama untuk
menyembah Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
masuklah kita kepada strategi dakwah
Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
periode Mekkah ada dua cara yang pertama
Dakwah secara sembunyi-sembunyi yang
kedua Dakwah secara terang-terangan Nah
sekarang kita akan pelajari dulu Dakwah
secara sembunyi-sembunyi Rasulullah
Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam memulai
dakwahnya di Mekkah dengan cara
sembunyi-sembunyi beliau berdakwah
dimulai dari keluarganya sahabatnya dan
karib kerabatnya dakwah
sembunyi-sembunyi ini berlangsung selama
3 sampai dengan 4 tahun Kenapa dengan
sembunyi-sembunyi karena Rasul perlu
mempersiapkan diri Rasul harus
menghimpun
tidak banyak orang yang masuk Islam
hanya tercatat sekitar 40 orang saja nah
40 orang inilah yang disebut dengan
Assabiqunal Awwalun Assabiqunal Awwalun
berarti orang-orang yang pertama kali
masuk Islam nah para Asa dikenal awalun
inilah yang banyak berjasa dan berjuang
dalam kemajuan Islam Selanjutnya orang
yang pertama menyatakan keislamannya
dari keluarga Nabi adalah Siti Khodijah
yaitu istri Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam kemudian dilanjutkan
oleh Ali bin Abi Tholib bin Horison Abu
Bakar As Siddiq dan Ummu Aiman
melalui Abu Bakar As Siddiq pengikut
Islam semakin bertambah ada Abdurrahman
bin Auf ada Ubaidah bin jarrah Utsman
bin Affan Zubair bin awwam saat bin Abi
waqqash Arqam Bin Abil Arqam Fatimah Bin
Khattab dan sebagainya
dakwah secara sembunyi-sembunyi yang
berlangsung lebih dari 3 tahun maka pada
tahun ke-4 Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam mendapatkan perintah dari Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala untuk menyampaikan
Dakwah secara terang-terangan perintah
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala untuk
menyampaikan Dakwah secara
terang-terangan terdapat dalam Quran
Surah al-hijr Ayat 94
maka Sampaikanlah olehmu secara
terang-terangan segala apa yang
diperintahkan kepadamu dan berpalinglah
dari orang-orang yang musyrik karena ini
adalah perintah Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala maka Rasulullah Shallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam tidak ingin
menunda-nundanya lagi Rasulullah
Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam langsung
melakukan dakwah secara terang-terangan
dengan memberikan pengajaran bukan hanya
kepada keluarga dan sahabatnya tetapi
melakukan dakwah kepada kalangan produk
Mekah
pernah ketika Rasulullah Shallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam melakukan dakwah secara
terbuka di bukit Safa beliau memanggil
semua suku-suku yang ada di sekitaran
Mekkah dan beliau menyuruhkan sembahlah
Allah Tinggalkanlah berhala maka
orang-orang Quraisy marah termasuk
pamannya yaitu Abu Lahab mendengar
seruan tersebut Abu Lahab mencaci maki
Nabi Muhammad shallallahu alaihi
wasallam dan berkata tak kalah Celakalah
engkau ya Muhammad Apakah hanya untuk
ini kamu mengumpulkan kami semua
Kemudian tidak lama dari itu turunlah
Wahyu yang menerangkan bahwa yang celaka
bukanlah Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam tetapi Abu Lahab sendiri
yaitu Quran surah allahab ayat 1 sampai
dengan 5
substansi dakwah Rasulullah Shallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam periode Mekah antara
lain sebagai berikut pertama memperbaiki
akhlak masyarakat Mekkah yang mengalami
dekadensi moral seperti tumbuh suburnya
kebiasaan berjudi meminum khamar berzina
dan lain-lain yang kedua memperbaiki dan
meluruskan cara menyembah Tuhan karena
Agam berhala menyembah patung-patung
Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
mengajak mereka untuk beralih kepada
Islam yang hanya menyembah kepada Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ketiga menegakkan
ajaran Islam tentang persamaan hak dan
derajat di antara manusia dan yang
keempat Mengubah kebiasaan bertaklid
kepada nenek moyang dan meluruskan
segala adat istiadat kepercayaan dan
upacara-upacara keagamaan nah
demikianlah
Uraian singkat materi tentang substansi
dan strategi dakwah Rasulullah
Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
semoga bermanfaat untuk kita semua
