hey everyone today we're gonna air fry
some beer battered fish
now traditionally you can't really air
fry things with batter
but the way we're gonna do it it's gonna
work so let's get started
we're gonna mix one cup of flour with
some baking
some cornstarch some baking soda
this is a beaten egg
and six ounces of your
favorite beer
now you could just drink the other half
yourself
mix it all around
[Music]
now we got that all mixed up we're gonna
put some plastic wrap
on top and refrigerate this for about 20
minutes
once we got our beer batter in the
fridge we're going to pat
dry our fish so i'm using some cod
you can use some pollock or any other
white fish you'd like
but we don't want any excess moisture on
the fish
because it's already going to be
battered
i'm going to go ahead and season our
fish i'm going to use
some garlic powder
and some table blend if you'd like to
use
old bay or any of your own home
seasoning you can
now in a deep dish we're going to
combine some flour
a little bit of salt
a little bit of cayenne for an extra
kick
mix that all around
we got our batter out of the
refrigerator
i'll go ahead and uncover that
give it a stir
[Music]
so now the trick so it can go in the air
fryer if you only use batter
then it would go flying all over your
air fryer so i'm just going to
batter my fish make sure it's nice and
coated
that the batter is nice and thick
once we have our fish fully covered
[Music]
drip a little bit and take it to the
flour
just flip it around
and put it back on tray
do the other piece in the batter
make sure it's coated well
and into a flower
last thing we're going to do before we
air fry it is just spray it with some
oil on top
just so the flour soaks it up a little
bit and once in the air fryer we'll do
it with the other side as well
[Music]
once in the airfryer we're going to put
a little bit more spray oil
and we'll air fry this at 390 degrees
for 12 minutes
