nights preparing to present their big
ideas for social good to potential
investors and other professionals meet
Dalton
so I started programming when I was 11
and I was building mods for game day I
used to play with my twin brother this
put me on a journey to learn software
man over the next few years
Dalton came into the pre accelerator
program alone but when he realized he
needed more hands building master he
roped in Rachel Dale and sink one next
Raphael so Raphael and his friends have
been coding since they were 10 he's also
a hackathon maniac there's a well my
mother introduced me to a hackathon ever
since then I've been grateful if you
have a lot of my friends at 15 he's the
youngest leader of the youngest team
helping them every step of the way
our experienced business mentors who use
their knowledge and experience to help
them accomplish their goals for social
good I'm a student myself and I was
struggling to balance the three things
that all students want to do it I was
asleep a social life and good grades in
school the only way would be possible
for me to do all three was to shorten
amount of time it takes me to get its
endurance masters an online adaptive
learning platform dial our students and
ultra efficient and optimize learning
experience simply put we're the fastest
and easiest way to learn anything
registan doesn't we've always had
between parent and child there was also
a tool to build trust between both
parties I feel that parents is this the
really trust that we can use I bought to
spend our money responsibly as we see
bridges of Twitter allow parents to
understand children spending habits
better and also help raise financial
literacy rates among students the teams
also have other challenges originally
were thinking about doing a shopping
chat board
however after speaking to many mentors
we came to realize there wasn't a viable
an idea we felt a bit stressed many of
the other teams came in us establish
stuff outside
so not just young terms of age what also
that's our progress as a student I don't
have a huge fortune to rely upon on most
of the money that we used to run our ads
as safe that by me and my twin brother
we skipped me or sometimes or we share
meal together so that we can run a
couple more errands des thankfully
didn't take that long for us a bit of a
new idea we note yourself school we do
accept the cashless payments but we
ourselves as students still receive one
for the money in cash the redundancy of
the system in our school was pretty
jarring and we wanted to tackle the
issue so we spoke to the 300 parents
when we got that positive feedback from
the parents where she felt rather
motivator we came to realize that we're
actually working on something very
meaningful
they were solving a problem that
ourselves and our peers of thisng
regardless touchy topic or finance
though time isn't on their side their
mentors make sure that they can catch up
by linking them up with other
professionals who can help them we were
able to learn from mentors from tamasic
from startup X and from companies over
the world who was able to help us ground
our marketing strategy help us develop
one that was really powerful and
emotional we didn't have the luxury of a
huge marketing budget so we had to make
sure that wherever else we put out were
powerful we were able to get over 400
signups al-bayda with a conversion rate
of over 80 percent while balancing
schoolwork in life the kids work hard
until demo day this is the moment they
have been preparing for to WoW the
audience with their pictures to find the
right people to succeed we conducted a
pilot test with many students it works
if you believe in our mission really
hope to be able to gain and benefit from
your support and resources there were
moments of breaking down there were
moments when there were nervous
they became unsure about themselves but
at the 11 and a quarter hour they just
rise up and punch above their knees they
really outdid themselves some of them I
didn't even recognize if I compared them
from today to when they first came into
the program I'm really impressed with
the teams and I think that every single
one
that did more than what we expected you
see the SNAP program is being a stepping
stone for what bird she has to see and
encounter in the future we just went
through one of the hardest periods of
our lives but it made us stronger and we
finally were able to turn our dreams
into reality whatever tomorrow brings
one thing's for sure these kids are on
to great things
