you've tried it numerous times and
you're interested in knowing about the
long-term effects
maybe you want to get an idea of how you

so i want to clarify that i've actually
been experiencing it for much longer
than five years
the first time i had it intentionally
and in its pure powder form other than
the green tea or matcha
was approximately eight years ago it was
one of those moments where a friend said
hey you should try this he dumped a
bunch of this powder into my hands
and of course this happened
basically a powdered sugar looking blast
or whatever your imagination wants to
make of it
either way it's interesting how back
then i had a hard time with
feeling it or noticing its effects which
maybe some of you can relate to
though part of this actually has to do
with where you source your theanine from
you want to ensure it's purity and that
you're actually getting l-theanine and
not
d-theanine i'll be talking more about

aside from all of its uses the main
reason that i started taking theanine
daily around
2015 was actually accidental you see
i was a couple of months into starting
intermittent fasting now pushing into
daily 20-hour fasting windows
and i began incorporating coffee back
into my life which i knew theanine could
balance out the negative side effects
that i was pretty damn sensitive to
lo and behold i could actually drink
coffee on an empty stomach without
experiencing anxiousness
and jitteriness that would emanate from
my stomach causing discomfort
even better aside from thinning
balancing out the stomachache
sensitivity that i had
it completely balanced out caffeine's
other side effects
amplifying what i wanted from coffee and
neutralizing the negative parts
now i don't even experience a coffee
crash anymore since i started mixing
coffee with theanine this actually makes
it fantastic for the population out
there
that treat coffee the way a vampire
takes to daylight
i know it's a slim population but this
thinning caffeine
combo may completely alter your
relationship to coffee for good

learned that to really get top-notch

took theanine in the evening for the
first time in
years while i was on a very long drive
from out of town on
very little sleep it was dark the rain
was pouring hard
and there were blinding lights coming at
me on these rural roads
and it really shocked me as to how
effective theanine helped to manage that
constant anxiety associated with driving
safety
that i feel when visibility is poor the
conditions suck and it's dark out
not really my cup of tea but i felt
super clear
calm and focused throughout the whole
thing so it's definitely one more use
that i'm adding to the growing theanine
list

your tolerance will just keep rising
l-theanine isn't exactly cheap and if
you're already getting it in capsule
it can be nearly five times the cost of

though you want to do some research and
ask companies to provide a coa a
certificate of analysis
the reason being is that it can be
marketed as theanine
so long as it has a certain percentage
of l-theanine in it
