Transcripts
hello guys it's Las be there with a
dungeon guy today on the arakara city of
echos dungeon one of the new ones that's
come with the wall within so first of
all the dungeon entrance is in ashka hat
you can see that here on the map a
couple of things to keep in mind as you
go through this dungeon there are some
webbed areas with holes in the floor so
be careful to not fall into those
otherwise you end up like this guy the
dungeon is of course full of spiders so
remember you can use the Arachnophobia
option to change them into crabs if you
prefer that instead and also when you're
moving around the dungeon be careful to
avoid the eggs or the sacks that you can
see there if you go into those they can
damage you and leave slowing webs on the
floor they're usually in the webbed
areas too so you don't want to be
choking up those paths if you do die in
the dungeon what you can do is use the
little flying taxi mob near the start up
on the top of the ramp this will give
your taxi back to near where you left
off and it does get a bit further after
you've killed the second boss as well so
definitely use that to save some time if
you do wipe okay so let's look at the
trash leading up to the first boss so
you've got the engorged crawlers these
will cast a range venomous spit at a
random player and apply a poison debuff
which can be removed at 20% Health they
will fixate a random person again and
move towards them they'll start casting
toxic rupture and explode on the
completion of this cast so just stay out
of there way the jabbing Flyers will
apply a stacking bleed to the tank this
lasts for 12 seconds so obviously stack
so it could get pretty nasty if allowed
to build too high some kiting might be
necessary here on higher Keys then
you've got the discordant attendants the
bigger spider mobs these are going to
cast web bolt which deals damage over
time and slows the play and also
occasionally cast resonant barrage now
this is a group a AOE damage over 6
seconds it's can get pretty heavy so DPS
you can use your personals here to help
out your healer so there's actually
three mini bosses here that you're going
to need to kill before the first boss
aox will spawn first up you've got I in
so this guy is going to cast web Bolt
the same as before that you saw in the
trash and it also cast the web spray as
well in a random Direction This does
deal heavy damage so make sure you step
out of this and it does also leave
damaging zones on the floor so stay away
from those the spell that you want to
kick here is horrifying shrill now if
this cast goes off it's going to fear
anyone nearby and it's also going to
summon a lot of small ads as well so
just make sure you kick horrifying
shrill once you've killed him the next
mob you'll find is knacked so this one
also cast web spray same as before so
avoid the webs on the floor the main
ability that Knack cast that you need to
watch out for is Call Of The Brood so
this is going to deal some AE damage and
summon small ads as well so tanks make
sure you gather those up and DPS make
sure you just kill those as they come
and third you've got the last mob called
Attic So this shares the web spray
ability but it also deals poison damage
in two different ways so first of all
he's got a spell called poison bolt
which applies a DOT to your tank but it
also sends out the occasional poison
Cloud at a random player so this is
going to leave a pool on the floor make
sure you don't standing that especially
if it gets put on top of an existing web
patch cuz that's going to slow you and
deal the poison damage too so once
you've killed those three you'll see a
warning on your screen that something
emerges don't worry it isn't bartic it's
the first boss avox so this is a
relatively simple first boss with just a
couple of important abilities to be
mindful of continue to look out for the
webbed areas during the fight if you get
10 stacks of the debuff from going in
those you will get web wrapped for 10
seconds and likely die when the boss
cast gossam at Onslaught this does group
AOE but it also adds more webbed areas
to the boss room you might want to stay
Loosely stacked here to make sure the
room doesn't get too messy too quickly
during the fight as the pools will last
until the boss dies another ability is
alerting shrill now this deals fairly
heavy pulsing AOE damage then you've got
verocious bite now this is the tank
mechanic here aox will bite the tank
three times and the final bite of those
three will apply a damage taken debuff
to the tank with 100% more d damage
taken for 12 seconds so save defensives
and bigger heals for this period of the
fight small ads called starved crawlers
will continue to join the fight and
whenever the boss cast alerting shrill
the ads are going to fix out a random
player and gain a buff called hunger so
they're going to start to deal 10% more
damage which Stacks up every 3 seconds
now these could quickly become a problem
if not focused down so ideally bring
them to the boss group them up and nuke
them down and that's pretty much the
first boss once aox is dead you can move
on towards boss number two now we get
some different trash to face on the way
to boss number two first of all you've
got the Blood Stained assistance now
these are going to cast in a spell
called extraction strike towards the
tank or whoever has Agro they are rooted
while they do this so ideally you need
to move out of this ability if it does
hit you the mob's going to get healed
for the amount it hit you and also buff
the mob with a spell called unnatural
blood lust now this buff is basically
like an enrage meaning the mob does more
damage and does more healing which also
Stacks so tanks will have to move quite
a bit to dodge these casts then you've
got the blood stain web Mages now these
will Channel web WAP at a random player
it needs to be kicked or disrupted is it
makes the player immobile and also makes
them take 15% more nature damage as well
they also cast revolting volley which is
the priority kick here now this does
initial heavy group wide damage but also
leaves a damage over time effect on the
entire party as well as a healing absorb
so it can get very nasty if these do go
off the big mobs here the hulking blood
guards they're going to use a spell
called massive slam this is going to
damage everyone in the group within 60
yards of the mob and it also stuns
players for 1 second the next ability is
called impale which is a big frontal
ability casting a com it deals damage to
whoever gets hit and also knocks you
back so avoid these wherever possible
the boss that you coming up to is also
going to use a spell as well and the
last other notable mob in this section
of the dungeon are the Sentry stag
shells these guys cast alarming shrill
now this also needs kicking if the cast
does go off it will spawn more ads and
can cause all nearby mobs to join the
fight as well likly going to overwhelm
you group this so make sure you kick
that cast you can see here what happens
if the spell does go off so boss number
two an obser
now let's do the minor abilities first
so as I said before he is going to use
impale the frontal corn ability that the
mobs before him used the big hulking
blood gun also roughly every 15 seconds
the boss will summon a blood stain web
Mage now these are the trash mobs who
use the web rapper ability on a random
player making them mobile and they're
also going to apply the 15% nature
damage take and debuff so you need to
get these de with as quickly as you can
make use of CC and kicks where possible
to manage these mobs you definitely
don't want a lot of these out at any one
time so make sure you do Focus these
down now his big abilities of which
there are two so first of all he will do
a burrow charge now he goes on the
ground and starts charging through the
floor to the furthest player away so you
can bait this in advance he will knock
anyone in the path that he charges
through away and deal damage to them if
you do get hit by the end of the charge
where he emerges again you're going to
take quite a bit more damage and get
knocked back even further so stay out of
the way of this path you do get a little
indicator above your head if he has
chosen you for this ability after he
reemerges he's then going to cast impale
on the furthest player away from him at
this time so you can again predict where
this ability will be cast if the group's
paying attention there's also the
infestation ability so this is going to
apply a DOT to a random player once the
dot ends it'll spawn a ceaseless swarm
and this will move around the boss room
for a period of time it's going to
damage anyone that goes into it and also
apply a stacking dot as well as a
movement speed decrease so making it
slower the longer you stay in it
whenever the boss reaches 100 energy is
going to cast eye of the Swarm so
everyone will need to get into the safe
Circle Zone otherwise you will gain two
stacks of ceaseless swarm every 1 second
so it's quickly going to ramp up and
make you really slow and take a lot of
damage the boss will continue to use his
impale and infestation abilities while
this is going on so it's going to get
quite tight of space so just make sure
you do your best to avoid any damage
going out there once an obect is now
anob wct you can then move on to boss
number three in the indoor section of
the dungeon and again there's some
different trash to face on your way to
the final boss so firstly you've got the
blood ores these use a spell called
Venom volley which is a group wide AOE
spell that will leave a poison dot on
the group and this is is your kick
priority secondly they were going to
cast erupting web so these are a bit
more dangerous than the spider web pools
that you've seen previously there'll be
zones that go out little swirlies make
sure you dodge those if not they will
explode you will be hit take damage and
be stunned for 6 seconds so a little bit
more deadly than what we saw earlier
you've then got the reinforced drones
now these simply just use grasping slash
on players it's going to root players
and deal damage over time and you can
see there if you get rooted and then
targeted by the erupting webs it's going
to be a pretty deadly combo so do be
mindful of that third New Mob type are
the winged Carri now these are the
smaller flying mobs they're not too
threatening but what they do is carry
pools of grasping blood now these if you
stand in them will root you for 1 minute
and deal damage over time you can damage
the pool to break the snare though now
keep this ability in mind as this is
present on the final boss fight as well
and the last big type of mob that you've
got here are the rubian haulers now
these cast massive slam which you've
seen earlier in the dungeon they stomp
the ground and do group AOE damage and
Sun everybody for one second each time
they do this though they're going to
gain intensity which is a damage
multiplier so these will need focusing
down so that they don't become too
overwhelming kill all those guys and you
make your way to the final boss the
kikal the Harvester so first of all
during this fight you'll notice that
these small ads the blood workers will
continuously walk into and across the
fight room and they're also carrying
those grasping blood pools that we saw
earlier so whenever you hit them they
going to drop the pool on the floor
wherever they take their first hit and
then the M will run away so you don't
actually need to kill that what you want
to do is make sure you get some pools
dropped at a decent distance away from
the boss is you're going to need to go
into a pool when the boss casts a big
ability C Cosmic Singularity now you
need to make sure there's enough pools
on the floor so that each player has one
to stand in as you cannot share pools on
Mythic difficulty now the big ability to
avoid is Cosmic Singularity so he's
going to start to pull all the players
in and create a spatial Distortion when
the cast finishes anyone within 10 yards
is going to suffer a big amount of
damage and get knocked back if you do
get hit by a dispel you're also going to
get a debuff called faded so you do 75%
less damage and take 75% more damage
yourself for 12 seconds so it's pretty
crucial that you avoid being hit by this
spell the way to do so is prepare in
advance find out where a pool is make
sure it's further than 10 yards away
from the boss and start to make your way
to the pool ideally just before or as
soon as the spell starts to be cast if
you don't manage to get yourself rooted
in one of the pools of grasping blood
when the spell finishes casting you will
be suck back towards the boss and take
the full damage from this ability which
is likely going to kill you the further
away you are from the boss when the
spell finishes casting the less damage
you're going to take the boss will also
occasionally cast erupting webs which
are the webs that we saw earlier the
swirl is got on the floor and the we
blow up if you get stuck in that you're
going to take damage and be stunned
there's also Venom volley to deal with
which is an AOE ability each player in
the group will get a damage over time
ability which is a poison and it's also
going to reduce your movement speed by
30% for 10 seconds which is going to
make it harder to get to the pools to
deal with the cosmic Singularity so make
sure you dispel or cure this if you can
ideally prioritizing the player in the
group with the worst Mobility to help
them get to a pool when it's time and
the last ability to be concerned with is
called cultivated poisons now this lasts
6 seconds and while you have the de buff
everyone in the group will start spewing
out poison in two directions do your
best to aim these away from your group
as the beams will deal damage but also
once a spell ends it's going to fire a
poison wave in both directions and that
deals pretty heavy damage to anyone hit
it can get a bit chaotic here especially
if you got quite a Milly heavy group
also because at this point you should be
prepping to get yourself over to a
grasping blood pool because Cosmic
Singularity is likely to be cast as this
spell is going on so it does get a bit
hectic but those are all the
possibilities so deal with them in order
as they come and you'll find yourself
completing this dungeon nicely so there
we go guys that is the dungeon arara do
bear in mind that this was filmed on the
beta so some things may change when this
goes live when the expansion launches
