🚗 Low-Budget Honda Civic Project: Suspension and Wheel Upgrades
The video begins by introducing a low-budget project focused on enhancing a Honda Civic EG3 with a new suspension system, aiming for a significant improvement in driving dynamics within a modest budget. The narrator has invested in a new, inexpensive suspension kit, hoping it will steer the project in the right direction. Despite the budget constraints, the narrator is excited about the upgrades, including new wheels that promise to transform the vehicle's appearance and performance. Initial challenges are faced, such as the absence of new top mounts, requiring the reuse of original ones that are surprisingly in good condition. A comparison is made to a previous project (MX5), emphasizing the impact of suspension on a car's handling and look. The video captures the process of assembling and installing the suspension components, revealing some issues like the unexpectedly large size of the springs and difficulties in fitting them without additional adjustments. The narrator expresses a mix of optimism and frustration with the progress, highlighting the hands-on nature of DIY car modifications.
🔧 Challenges and Adjustments: Striving for Lower Stance
The second part of the video documents the narrator's struggle to achieve a lower stance for the Civic, facing challenges with the suspension setup. Despite fully lowering the suspension, the car does not sit as low as expected, leading to disappointment. The video captures the troubleshooting process, including adjusting the suspension height and dealing with unexpected issues, like mismatched tire sizes delivered by the tire service. The narrator remains determined, making further adjustments to lower the car, including using a spring compressor to fit the components together. As new wheels are introduced, there's a mix of excitement for the aesthetic they will bring and concern over whether the desired low stance can be achieved. The segment ends on a hopeful note, with the narrator looking forward to seeing the full transformation once the wheels are mounted and the car is on the ground.

passen okay mir ist direkt was weirdes
hier ebenfalls gleiche Marke vom
Fahrwerk im MX5 guckt mal wie weit wir
hier hochgeschraen das alles Gewinde
hier
[Musik]
ja das hat super funktioniert sind jetzt
komplett zusammengebaut und ich würde
sagen ich nehme gerade mal eins der
hinteren Federbeine und häng das direkt
hier
[Musik]
rein
[Musik]
okay nächstes Problem wir haben ja das
Fahrwerk komplett runtergeschraubt weil
runter wird schwierig ja ja ja oh what
ja isti Alter what the ey guck mal
orientieren hier crazy Alter so keine
runter runter runter runter runter
budget Projekt entschieden habe man
Freunde shit 15 Zoll Achter breite
einteilige Japan Racing 15 Zoll Felge
ich bin gespannt wie die drunter passen
und wie sie aussehen übrigens ne auch
hier Gutachten vorhanden viele haben
auch gefragt wegen den Felgen vom MX5
Japan Racing hatte ja sehr lange gar
keine Gutachten mittlerweile gibt es für
Einzel Felgen mit Gutachten dieses
Modell genauso wie dieses Modell hat es
wie gesagt dabei und deswegen spricht e
nichts dagegen die Dinger hier auf den
Civic zu klatschen ich lade die Dinger
jetzt ins auto Reifen liegen schon beim
mir schon denken weiße Japan Racing in
was hier passiert ist
drüben D könnt man schon verschränken
wirklich unglaublich was diese 8 x 15
bisschen an meinem Subaru weiter endlich
