hey what's going on guys DK back at you
with another video to break down the two
game NFL preseason slate on Thursday
hopefully you guys had a good opening uh
day of the NFL preseason last week andap
we can recap that uh in a sec if this
your first time watching cover content
for NFL uh da fanty sports NBA uh as
well as for player prop stuff like prize
pick Underdog and parlay play Underdog
they the sponsor of the video you can
use the code DK DFS or you can use the
link down below for $100 or $250 deposit
match bonus I should say um but uh yeah
been having a ton of fun Underdog uh
with NFL preseason props we had over
100% Roi last year and in the video that
I gave out two plays uh last video we
hit both fridy Swain um lesson is 29 a
half FR plus receiving yards and Davis
Mills more than is 80 a half passing
yards if you guys look for more content
can check on my patreon Linked In the
description um whether it be for DFS or
for player prop stuff all right so let's
recap um last week um again the game did
not finish right it got what rained out
um but had both my props and then for
DFS was profitable as well I hit four of
uh four I made five lineups in the big
tournament and cash four of the five
this was my best lineup we can quickly
recap that and then we'll get into the
video all right once it loads up okay so
yeah when demetric felt Captain
obviously he lost a lot of playing time
because uh the game got canceled play
both defenses uh both were a bit
underwhelming but they were the two
safest plays in the board there with
Felton played Davis Mills thought he was
your safest quarterback play Roshan
Johnson I thought was going a bit
overlooked by the field um the Bears
just didn't have you know any healthy
running backs and then Xavier Hutchinson
was my preferred wide receiver play um
he smashed at low
ownership all right so let's just get
into it I think it's easiest to go team
by team for this team slate um but yeah
we'll have a lot more in-depth stuff
posted over on patreon WE stream before
lo as well all right let's start off
with
Carolina
okay so Carolina uh we know that uh
Bryce young and Andy dton will not play
and uh we know that uh most of the
starters for Carolina will not play as
well so uh that leads them relatively
short-handed definitely one of my
favorite teams to Target on this small
slate so no Bry Young no Andy dton
however they do have a fourth
quarterback um that's going to be Jake
Luton now they only signed him a few
days ago so I don't think he's going to
play like a massive amount on this game
which just which just leaves Jack
plumber who um will is confirmed
starting in this game uh rookie and I'm
expecting a lot of run from him I would
say at least a half if not more um now
the one downside I will say is he's not
super mobile um we'll talk about a very
mobile quarterback here in a bit on the
Lions who I like
um but yeah I think Jack plumber is
definitely one of your safer quarterback
plays on the Slate um Luton um is not
even playable he's not even in the
DraftKings player pool so you can't even
play him if you wanted
to okay let's move on to the running
back position here for um for Carolina
so Jonathan Brooks is injured right um
and then you have the two guys that kind
of split um the running back duties last
year in chaha my sanders my guess is
they get lumped into that group that of
starters that not play um so I'm not
expecting to see those guys so that
leaves black Sher Boon and Sheran but
you also have one more back on the
roster that's going to be Dillan Johnson
again who is not in the player pool um
so I think there's going to be four
running backs that play right uh and
Johnson signed about a week ago um but
yeah I think all four of these backs
look relatively similar with the three
backs that are playable Ean DraftKings
black Sherbon Sheran uh Bo's been like a
preseason monster throughout the years
um what he was on Denver for a bit he
was on Minnesota
um like he's he's good black shears
solid pass catcher so I think any of
these Carolina running backs are solid
um again I am only expecting four run X
to play here for Carolina all right so
for wide receivers uh Legette is not
going to be uh playing um Deontay
Johnson Adam thielen should get grouped
into the starters now the question for
me uh for Carolina
is what do they do with um Marshall and
Mingo right do they get grouped into
that um group of guys that you know the
starters that do not play or are they
going to play a bit in this game that I
can't tell you now if Mingo and Marshall
get grouped into this you know starting
um group and they don't play then that
leaves Carolina relatively short-handed
right um You have Smith marat's been
around for a bit you have Tomkins
coker's been making some good plays in
training camp so um you know this team
uh this team could be could be
relatively short-handed here if if
Marshall and Mingo don't play um strain
he's been around for a bit you David
Moore is a veteran so um yeah we'll keep
an eye on that news that is pretty
important if Mingo and Marshall play I
don't like this receiving room as
much okay so let's move on to uh the
tight end
position so uh Tommy Trumble Ian Thomas
not expecting them to play um you do
have uh the rookie uh uh Sanders um
Taven Sanders Who Um probably will get a
first crack at the tiat end position and
I think we'll definitely get some
ownership um on this two game slate you
know tight end's always a tricky
position to try to fill out in preseason
but I think he will get some get some
work they also do have some other guys
um that have been been around for a
while that are not currently listed on
DraftKings like Jacob Hollister has been
a preseason guy that has been around for
a while hored as well um so they are
relatively deep at this position but
yeah I think Sanders will probably be
the guy that gets uh the most
opportunities there for Carolina I talk
about New England so New England's
probably my least least favorite team to
Target um so here's the quote for from
um from Mayo everyone who was healthy
enough to play in the game will play um
and he specifically said that that Drake
May will play too that's not ideal right
um everyone that's healthy enough to
play will play well they have four
quarterbacks um you got Bret May Milton
and zappy so if all four play I think
it's really hard to go there um I guess
like if I was to play someone on New
England uh a quarterback I probably
would be Milton but Milton or may but I
think it's pretty hard to get to any of
these quarterbacks here for New England
now the running back Situation's a
little bit different um
so looking at New England and uh their
running backs so you have five running
backs currently um on the roster uh
Fenwick got waved a little bit ago uh so
you got Stevenson Gibson Kevin Harris
who's been around for I think this is
his third year now jichael Hy's AET um
and then you got the rookie and Jennings
so um I don't think we're going to see a
ton of the starters you know with
brassette and uh and the backs and and
you know starting wide receivers so
don't have a ton of interest in
Stevenson and Gibson um but I do think
that Kevin Harris and Jennings are
interesting again jichael Hy's been
around for a while so I don't really
know how much they need to see out of
him um but I do think that Kevin Harris
and Jennings are probably uh two of the
safer running back plays on the Slate
just because New England is short-handed
at running back wide receivers a little
bit of a different story right they have
a ton of wide receivers um so uh we're
not going to see Douglas or Kendrick
Bourne in this game um but they still
have a lot of guys right they still they
still have a ton of guys in the wide
receiver room um you know pulk uh and
Baker are probably going to get some
ownership the two rookies here for New
England um I think those guys are are
decent options but again uh you're going
to see a lot of wide receivers play what
like one let's just count out how many I
think are going to play in this game so
we're not see the top two pulk one
Osborne 2 Juju Smith 3 Baker four rager
five flon six b seven Baker eight uh
wellis nine uh Jackson 10 so like 10
guys that's not great that's not great
um again I think like of these New
England receivers pul and Baker probably
getting the most ownership um you know
if you want to take a shot and someone a
little bit farther down the dep Shar I
think like B or rager are fine um but
again pretty deep uh pretty deep
receiving room there for New
England um and then so for tight ends
not great either um you got six tight
ends uh on the uh on the depth chart
so not great um I guess if it was to
play one of these guys it probably would
be the rookie and Jacob waren um I think
he would play a good amount kind of
there in the second half but not a ton
to like there all right let's talk about
Detroit
so Detroit definitely one of my favorite
teams to Target i' say right up there
with
Carolina so uh where do we have um okay
so here's the quote from Dan Campbell um
says the players the Lions will counting
on during the regular season won't play
in Thursday's preseason opener um and if
they do they won't play much young guys
should get a lot of reps so um that's
good to hear we're not going to see
jarro gof that leaves just Hayden hooker
and Nate sudfeld now sudfeld played a
lot uh last preseason U but that was um
who got banged up um oh it was Adrian
Martinez I believe got injured early so
they didn't have a lot of options of
quarterback so sfall kind just played a
lot um but this is a game where I could
see hen and hooker playing over a half
and uh maybe more right maybe three
quarters and he is mobile so I think
he's right there with plumber as one of
the best quarterback plays on the Slate
um so I'm pretty high there on uh
hooker okay um let's move on to the
running back position here for the Lions
so we're not going to see Montgomery or
Gibbs I can almost guarantee you that I
don't think we see crank Reynolds either
you know he's been on the roster now for
a few years a special teams guy I I
don't really see him playing much um in
a game like this now there's three
running backs left however they do have
a fourth there too um and that's uh the
rookie cion uh vaki um so you got vaky
Knight Jamar Jefferson Jake Funk um
Jefferson's been around the team for a
bit kind of practice squad player I
think any of those running backs are
solid options um we know boom Knight and
and Funk have been around for a bit as
well um but yeah I think any of those
any of those three running backs uh that
are playable at draft Le Knight Funk
Jefferson are fine my guess is Jefferson
probably gets the most work of that
group but um that's just an educated
guess there let's move out of the wide
receiver position here for the Lions so
uh again we're definitely not going to
see Aman Ross St brown or Jameson
Williams I doubt we see CLE Raymond
either um would be pretty surprised
about that um one thing to note Darius
Fountain um he's been playing really
well um and he's been actually playing
with the starters so he could be one
that gets grouped into the starters of
like he might be too good to play in
this game um so we'll keep an eye on the
ation and a there for the Lions but I
think there's a chance that Fountain
does not play um either the Lions still
do have a decent amount of wide
receivers right um you get Don peoples
Jones who's on the Browns last year um
you know he's battling for a
you know starting spot um he could even
there's a chance he could even get
grouped into that you know starting
group as well um you know you do have
some guys that played a lot for the
Lions last year in the preseason uh
green Kennedy Mo Alexander I think those
guys are all solid options would expect
those guys to get a decent amount of
work um then you have some backing guys
here as well um let's talk about tight
end for the
Lions so again this tight end is slight
General pretty gross but don't think
we're going to see Sam laa I doubt we
see much of Brock W either um you still
do have a good amount of tight ends
available for the Lions so um nothing
that like super stands out I think
Mitchell zela hassy all playable um
tight ends but uh let's finish up here
with the
Giants okay um so yeah doble I mean he
kind of hinted at uh starters not
playing but it's not 100% confirmed um
now if you take a look back at last year
Stars really didn't play much in the
first game for the Giants so um I'm
expecting similar um similar play time
here for the Giants I don't think we're
going to see much of the main guys if at
all okay so if we take a look at the
quarterback position right that means
we're not going to see Daniel Jones that
leaves Drew lock and Tommy DeVito I
think both solid quarterback plays um
you know maybe we'll get some clarity if
one of these guys is going to get more
run than the other um but yeah I would
say they rank slightly behind plumber
and hooker right now at the quarterback
position but yeah I think both the
Giants quarterbacks are fine maybe get
some clarity that one will play a little
bit more um than uh than the other now
looking at the W or looking at the
running back room for um for the Giants
we don't think we're going to see Deon
single ter um but that leaves this group
relatively thin Corbin on the IR so that
leaves gray Tracy Miller and sailors um
Tracy's been playing well and right now
they said he's the early leader for the
number two running back spot so uh he'll
probably start the game would be my
guess um you got what seconde guy and
gray will probably uh be next up and
then you got Miller and sailor so I
think any of these Giants running backs
are fine I'm only uh assuming that four
uh will
play all right so wide receiver position
for uh the Giants so I'm not expecting
neighbors Slayton Wendell Robinson or
jayen highight to play I think any of
those top four guys probably won't play
um Isaiah Hodgins has been been on the
team now for a few years I don't think
he's going to play much um so this
Giants wide receiver room could be
relatively thin I mean you do have a
couple veterans here right with like
Allan Robinson a McKenzie um both are
kind of dusty but I expect them to play
some in this game you got a special
teams guy's been around for a while
gunar Oak Kowski boykin's been around
for a bit um Ford weaton got a little
bit banged up but I expect him to play
he did return to practice um but yeah I
mean if if all those guys that are out
let's just say the top five don't play
right neighbors Slayton Robinson high at
hodgin and then the veterans you know
how much are we going to see from
McKenzie and alen Robinson could leave
them relatively short-handed um with
like five six guys there so Giants wide
receiver room could be short-handed
depending on exactly who is in and who
is
out okay then finally the tight end room
for the Giants right so we're not
expecting Daniel Bellinger to play um
now Theo Johnson has played well
according to the beat writers but right
now they enlisted as a four Stringer
which is a little bit
interesting so I'm a little bit what I
want to do here you know is he too good
to play in this game or are they going
to want to see what he has and and try
to play him a lot because this Giants
tight end room actually is relatively
short-handed cage is a little bit banged
up um stall is a little bit banged up um
so they could be pretty short-handed
like Chris manher is just a veteran I
don't think he plays a ton so like let's
just say that Bellinger obviously we
we're not expecting Bellinger to play
Let's just say stole and cager out I
think manher could play a little bit but
he's not really out there for pass
catching so that could just leave you
know Johnson manher and Tyreek Jackson
um so if that is the case um and those
guys are the only guys active and I
think Johnson is a pretty solid tight
end play um and then Tyreek Jackson
would even be playable as
well um all right guys and then defenses
no real strong Lanes um you know on
which of these defenses I prefer
obviously I think targeting defense
against you know mainly backups and
third strings is a little bit safer than
targeting a defense against you know
starters so the one team that were
expecting some starters to play would be
new Eng Eng so what you know Carolina's
defense maybe the riskiest quote unquote
to Target but it's the preseason I think
all four these defenses are playable I
don't really have any super strong leans
on um you know which defense I
prefer okay guys so that's going to wrap
it up the video again if you are looking
