ddr dem westen gegenüber immer mehr ab
in der nacht vom 12
auf den 13 august 1961 wurden letztlich
alle straßen und gleise zwischen ost und
westberlin abgeregelt und in den
nachfolgenden tagen wo
berliner mauer errichtet sie trennte
westberlin von ost berlin und der ddr
harald lebte damals in ost berlin wie
viele andere war auch er mit den
lebensumständen in der ddr und zufrieden
bürgerrechte wie meinungs- reise- und
demonstrationsfreiheit wurden missachtet
bot menschen überwacht und bespitzelt
auch wirtschaftlich ging es der ddr
immer schlechter im herbst 1989 gab es
immer mehr friedliche proteste der
bürger am 7 november demonstrierten
schließlich über eine million auf dem
berliner alexanderplatz zwei tage später
am 9 november verlas günter schabowski
im fernsehen dass genehmigungen für
privatreisen in die brd ab sofort
kurzfristig und direkt am grenzübergang
erteilt werden
daraufhin eilten tausende ddr-bürger zu
den grenzstationen um auszureisen
die unvorbereiteten grenzsoldaten
öffneten aufgrund des ansturms noch in
dieser nacht die übergänge der berliner
mauer
in den folgenden tagen überquerten
tausende ddr-bürger die grenze nach west
deutschland erst ein jahr später war die
deutsche wiedervereinigung rechtsgültig
doch der fall der berliner mauer
die 28 jahre symbol für die trennung der
beiden deutschen staaten war markierte
den ersten großen schritt zur
wiedervereinigung
auch harald überquerte damals die grenze
und freute sich seinen sohn sebastian
wieder zu sehen der in west berlin lebte
und damit florian diesen tag nicht
vergesst schenkt ihm harald sein stück
