Transcripts
Hello everyone, this is Tomoka. I'm in Kyoto now. I would like to introduce this trip from Kyoto.
So, we have put together this VLOG with a lot of information on sightseeing spots, gourmet food, cafe shopping, etc., so please enjoy it till the end. So let's start our trip in Kyoto.
After leaving our luggage at the hotel, we headed to a popular restaurant.
Arrived at Okakita, which is popular for udon. We also had soba and rice bowl dishes, and while we were waiting, we were asked about our order details.
The interior of the store has a wonderful decoration that gives you a feel of Kyoto.
We arrived at our first stop, Okakita, for lunch. I've heard that there's a huge line here, but
we waited in line for about 10 to 15 minutes. This place seems to be famous for its amazing udon
, and it closes at around 5pm, but if you go there at 4:30, they'll run out of udon, so I
thought I'd give you some of their udon. So let's eat.
The egg you eat
is soft and creamy.
Wow, the udon noodles are so soft.
So, I went to Imaoka Kita for lunch.
I had really high expectations because it had such great reviews, but the brand name or rather
the name had a great reputation, so I was wondering if a lot of people were going there. So now that
we've finished lunch, our next destination is Heian Shrine, which I've never been to, so I thought I'd give it a try.
So I'll go.
Okay, so we arrived at Heian Shrine. This is my first time here, but
since it's right next to Okakita where I had lunch earlier, I thought I'd stop by and take a look.
So, I would like to introduce you to the inside.
Heian Shrine, which was built as a symbol of Kyoto's reconstruction, has a relatively young history as it was founded in 1895, 28th year of the Meiji era.In
order to convey to future generations the history of Kyoto, which has flourished for a long time since Heiankyo, it is enshrined as the deity of the executive emperor who opened Heiankyo. It was founded.
At Heian Shrine, you can choose from two types of goshuin. I received a limited-time stamp of this cherry blossom.
Okay, so I came to the park inside Heian Shrine.
I thought it was free inside, but you had to pay 600 yen to enter.
Google says it's free, but it's free to enter Heian Shrine
, and the park around the shrine is 600 yen for adults. The opening hours are until 5 o'clock, so
I feel like I should be careful about the schedule around here, but
the inside of the amazing garden is beautiful, so I would like to introduce you to various things inside.
The Shinen Garden, which was designated as a national name in 1975 and is one of the representative Japanese gardens of the Meiji period,
is characterized by being composed of four gardens in the east, middle, southwest, and south surrounding the temple.Three
gardens The last place you will arrive at is Higashishinen.
Shobikan, which stands around a large square pond, was relocated from the Kyoto Imperial Palace in 1912, the first year of the Taisho era, and
Taiheikaku, which connects the east and west sides of the pond, is also called Hashiden. No matter what season you visit, you can enjoy a variety of scenery at the shrine garden, such as
weeping cherry blossoms in spring, irises in early summer, colored leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter.Yes
, so I went to Heian Shrine. It's an
amazing map. When I saw it, I thought it would be big, but I was able to see it easily.
If you go to the shrine, be sure to check out the surrounding parks, which have a fee.
So, after this,
I would like to go back to the hotel and enjoy afternoon tea since the hotel I am staying at this time has afternoon tea.
For that part, I'm planning to make a video just for the hotel, so please check that out.
So I'll go.
For dinner tonight, I
came to K36's Bar. Two summers ago, I showed you this in another video, but this one
was really good, so I came here. So, here is what I will have for dinner tonight.
I ordered black truffle fries and ginger ale.I
came to today's lunch place "Torishin". It's only open until 2pm, so it closes a little early, but
it's a restaurant in Gion Shirakawa that's very famous for its oyakodon (oyakodon).
There are two counter seats and two table seats inside the shop, and it's not that big, so I
recommend going a little outside of lunch hours to have a look
.
I came to Hanamikoji for the second time in my life, as it may
have been a long time since I had eaten oyakodon outside . In fact, 70 to 80% of the people here are foreigners.
There are so many different types.
nice. It feels like it can only be found in Kyoto.
It's on the 2nd floor.It
's a menu with a photo.
(Mom) Wow, it looks delicious.The
ice
cream was melting.I'm
glad I shared this.
Warabi mochi is so popular that you
can eat it with a spoon (lol) I
went to Gion Komori to try some sweets. It was a lot more empty than I expected, so I got in right away.
I think it would be amazing if this was the best season, like when the leaves turn red.
We ordered one each and shared it, but I
thought it would have been better if we shared it so we could enjoy two flavors.
There are a lot of deep shops here. Indeed, I don't know what to say in Tokyo...
I can't say where, but behind Ginza or Shinjuku...
behind Shinjuku! Yes, it's like that. Something like that back alley
in Gion ? Ah, that's right, it looks a bit similar to that driveway
, but this one seems to have more shops open.
Over there, it seems like they're strictly not allowing visitors.
They don't sell swords,
they sell kitchen knives and other utensils. Tableware?
The view from Mikage Bridge is extremely beautiful.
Walk across this bridge to Shimogamo Shrine.
But there's a lot of greenery. a! There it was, there it was, the entrance.
Wow, it's amazing,
it's really full of greenery. It's definitely beautiful during the autumn leaves season.
Yeah,
I just arrived at Shimogamo Shrine.
It took about 15 minutes by bus from Kawaramachi, so it felt really quick.
You can come by just one bus (by bus), so please come and try it. So, Shimogamo Shrine is a very famous shrine, but
did I mention that it has been there since B.C.? There seems to be a certain order in which
you should go around the shrines, so I'd like to go around Kawai Shrine first.
This is Kawai Shrine.
I bought this Karin water, which is said to be beautiful water, so I'm going to have it.
It doesn't smell. It's difficult to compare the slightly sweet taste of quince.
But it's really delicious. Easy to drink. I think it's really refreshing in the summer.
Can I become beautiful with this?
There was a karin in the temple grounds,
and it is said that people will draw the face of the ema here in the restroom.
Amazing, there is a red bird in the middle of the forest,
and next is Tadasu no Mori.
This is Tadasu no Mori.
There's nothing special about it, but it seems to refer to a place with a forest.
Shimogamo Shrine is the fifth shrine in Japan to be registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site. The nature surrounding the temple grounds is very mysterious, and
it is one of the best power spots in Kyoto, offering various benefits such as beauty and marriage, as well as small treasures and traffic safety.
I received a goshuin stamp
to pray to the shrine that celebrates the zodiac
signs. This place is also said to be famous for matchmaking.I
found a cute signboard. Now, from this bus stop, 205, return to Kyoto Station.
This general store on the first floor of Royal Park Hotel The Kyoto Sanjo is so cute that I would like to try it out.
Wow,
it came out like this at first?
It looks delicious
. I'm going to Shoyeido now to buy some incense.
This is an incense shop that sells to Iconic, where I was staying this time.It smelled really nice, so I decided to take a look.
amazing. 300 years! If you like incense, I'm sure you know about this place, but you should come here.
Apparently you can enter the box here and smell it.
amazing. Scent box 1, go here.
Ah, it smells! Wow, there's something like this. Does it say what it smells like?
It smells different! The scent of pine. The scent of pine trees.
Agarwood scent. Something completely different!
I might like the first box.
This smells too. How do you press it?
It doesn't smell much. do not know. Maybe my nose is numb.
Ah, this smelly
part is the incense used at Hotel Iconic, which smells similar to the scented sachets.
I thought this Shirakawa smell was really nice, so I decided to buy it and take it home.
You don't have to wash it every time. You can wipe it with alcohol wet wipes or something.
The power of smell is amazing.
Mom: You can't smell a scent bag with your nose. Me) Certainly. It really smells amazing just by leaving it in the room.
Mom) I think I really like this smell. Staff) This is an image of a road where Venus is blooming, so the image may be different than the real thing.
Ah, color! cute. It's cute, it's yellow! Even the capital. A gorgeous scent. I can't get used to opening things like this.
No, it won't open.
I opened it
and it looks like
this ! It smells like an amazing scent bag. It smells like the scent bag I smelled at that store.
What smell? It kind of smells like Hotel Iconic.Next
up is this Sambido,
it's so cute. After all, this part is the cutest.
I wonder what I was like, the one I have.
This is Shinpukan. That's amazing, is it some kind of plant shop?
There are various shops
here, it's beautiful. There's green.
Even sake ice. Cassis orange.
Good for summer.
Books and vegetables hey? What did I read? This vegetable plate looks delicious too.
Me) It seems healthy. Mother) It feels healthy. Me) Can I take it home?
Mom) You can tech out. I don't feel like Pudding was on board either though.
Mom: It's delicious and doesn't contain any bad ingredients
!
It's really a healthy sweet. It seems like it only has 50kg calories.
It would be what? This is delicious. There's no such thing as too sweet. This is delicious.
Also, this is delicious.I
came to Mikane Shrine, which is famous for the god of financial luck.I
would like to visit here.
How was your trip to Kyoto? This time, I'll be summarizing everything, including recommended spots, and places I
usually go to in Kyoto, but I went to minor places, or places other than the major ones, so
