Transcripts
the Islamic dilemma you may have heard
this phrase before from many Christian
apologists in Ali Imran we are told he
Allah has revealed To You O Prophet the
book in truth confirming what came
before it as he revealed the Torah and
the gospel previously as a guide for the
people and also revealed the standard to
distinguish between right and wrong
surely those who reject Allah's
Revelations will suffer a severe torment
In this passage Allah claims to have
revealed a Torah duel and Jill the Torah
and the gospel and he claims to have
revealed them as a guidance for all of
humanity this is why in Surah 29 Allah
commands Muslims to say to Jews and
Christians we believe in what was
revealed to us and in what was revealed
to you and our God and your God is one
and the same to him we are submitters
from these two passages alone we can
conclude that Allah is claiming to be
the same God as the god of the Bible and
he is claiming to be the author of The
Bible itself to take this even further
Allah claims to be so certain of his
work that he says recite what has been
revealed to you from the book of your
lord none can change his words nor can
you find any Refuge besides him Muslims
will commonly argue that this verse
means to say none can change the Quran
but the exact Arabic words are
which means none can change his words
according to Allah his words which
include the words found in the Bible
cannot possibly be changed or corrupted
so we can conclude that the Bible is
absolutely infallible even according to
the Quran
now this is where Islam's biggest flaw
comes to life in Almeida we read this
let the people of the Gospel judge by
what Allah has revealed in it and those
who do not judge by what Allah has
revealed are truly the rebellious
not only is the Bible infallible and
unchangeable according to the Quran but
Allah goes as far as to say that
Christians are required to use the Bible
to judge the validity of the Quran in
other words Allah commands Christians to
use the Bible when judging the words of
the Quran in fact the Christians who
don't use the Bible to judge the Quran
are considered by Allah to be the
rebellious ones but there's even more to
this in the same chapter Allah commands
Muhammad to say to Christians say o
Prophet o people of the book you have
nothing to stand on unless you observe
the Torah the gospel and what has been
revealed revealed to you from your lord
the people of the book are Christians
they are referred to as people of the
book because they are the ones who
created the Codex what we now refer to
as books the Christians compiled the
ancient writings they had access to from
Scrolls and assembled all of these
Scrolls together into books therefore
they are the people of the book
according to Allah we Christians have
absolutely no basis for our faith unless
our faith stands on the Firm Foundation
of the Bible
and well the Bible agrees in the gospel
of Matthew chapter 7 the Messiah speaks
these words therefore whoever hears
these sayings of mine and does them I
will liken him to a wise man who built
his house on the rock and the rain
descended the floods came and the winds
blew and beat on that house and it did
not fall for it was founded on the rock
at this point we can conclude that there
is absolutely no doubt that the Bible
stands in judgment over the Quran
unfortunately the same can't be said for
Muhammad who had a lot of Doubt himself
when the prophet Muhammad first received
his Revelations he was incredibly
distressed so much so that he doubted
whether his Revelations were true at all
as a result Allah commanded him with
these words now if you are in doubt
concerning what we have revealed to you
then ask those who have been reading the
book before you it is the truth that has
come to you from your lord so never
become one of those who doubt Allah told
his Prophet that if he had any doubts
concerning what had been revealed to him
then he should go and speak to the
people who read the Bible the Christians
and this is not the only instance we
read about Muhammad using the Bible to
judge between right and wrong listen to
this story Abu dawood 4449 a group of
Jews came and invited the messenger of
Allah so he visited them in their school
they said
one of our men has committed fornication
with a woman so pronounce judgment upon
them they placed a cushion for the
messenger of Allah who sat on it and
said bring the Torah it was then brought
he then withdrew the cushion from
beneath him and placed the Torah on it
saying I believe in thee and in him
who revealed the
Muhammad believed in our Triune God
he used the Bible for authorization
Allah told him to go to the Christians
for verification of his Revelations
Allah said that Christians can only
stand firm in their faith by adhering to
the gospel and Allah said that the words
of the Torah and the gospel cannot ever
be changed nor corrupted if you ask me I
think Allah and Muhammad are ironically
two of the best advocates for
Christianity
in the end the Islamic dilemma presents
us with only two possibilities
if the Bible is false then Islam is
false since it is only the Bible which
can affirm the Quran according to
Allah's Revelations to Muhammad
if the Bible is true then Islam is still
false
because Allah Muhammad and the Quran
contradict the true authoritative and
preserved scriptures of our true God
the god of the Bible
no matter what
Islam is false
until next time
