💪 Embracing Challenges for Growth
The speaker introduces the 'Project 50 Challenge,' a 50-day regimen designed to enhance mental and physical well-being. Discovered on TikTok, this challenge was initiated by 'State of Mind' and consists of seven daily rules. The challenge's difficulty lies in its requirement to restart from day one if any rule is missed. The speaker reflects on their experience, emphasizing the importance of consistency and discipline in achieving personal development.
⏰ Morning Routine and Reading Habits
The first two rules of the challenge are discussed: waking up before 8 am and reading ten pages of a non-fiction book daily. The speaker found waking up early to be mostly easy but occasionally challenging due to late-night socializing. Reading ten pages a day was also a stretch, as they typically read less frequently. Despite the challenges, the speaker is committed to maintaining these habits, aiming to read one book per month.
🏋️♂️ Daily Exercise and Rest
Rule number three involves exercising for at least one hour each day, which the speaker found to be the most difficult. They mention the importance of rest days for muscle recovery, especially for weightlifters, and suggest alternative activities like walking on rest days. The speaker plans to adopt a push-pull-leg split workout routine with rest days in between.
🍏 Healthy Eating and Social Challenges
The fourth rule prohibits junk food and alcohol consumption. The speaker, who generally eats healthily and drinks alcohol sparingly, found this rule manageable. However, social situations where friends chose unhealthy options posed a challenge. The speaker emphasizes the importance of health and self-restraint, even in the face of temptation.
📚 Learning New Skills
The fifth rule encourages dedicating one hour each day to learning a new skill. The speaker appreciates this rule, having used the time to learn about personal finance, investing, and cryptocurrencies. They express interest in connecting with others who share these interests and invite viewers to reach out via Instagram.
🌅 Establishing a Morning Routine
The sixth rule is about establishing a morning routine, which the speaker believes is crucial for avoiding distractions and planning the day effectively. They suggest incorporating reading, learning, and exercising into the morning routine, and also recommend adding meditation for a more balanced start to the day.
📝 Tracking Progress and Accountability
The final rule of the challenge is to track daily progress in a journal. The speaker discusses the importance of documenting progress in various aspects of life and shares their personal method of journaling through private vlogs. They also mention the benefits of posting daily updates on social media for accountability and motivation, concluding with the key lesson of the challenge: consistency is essential for greatness.

Transcripts
we don't grow when things are easy we
grow when we face challenges recently i
finished one of the hardest challenges
that i ever did the project 50 challenge
so in this video i want to share my
experience and what i learned from it
it's a challenge for 50 days to improve
you mentally and physically i came
across this challenge last year when i
was scrolling through tiktok it's a
challenge created by state of mind i
began to see more and more people doing
the challenge and it was around the end
of the year so i thought this was the
perfect challenge to start off this year
and i love this kind of challenges there
are seven rules you have to do every day
for 50 days
and the hard part is if you miss one
rule you have to start all over again
from day one rule number one wake up
before 8 am
i thought this one would be easy and
most of the days it was but there were
days when i met up with my friends at
night
so i couldn't sleep on time and because
of that i didn't have enough sleep and
had to wake up just before 8. the rest i
went to bed around 9 00 pm and woke up
around 5am
definitely going to keep this habit rule
number two read 10 pages a day it has to
be a non-fiction book like books about
business psychology
mindset or personal development those
are the books i really like to read but
usually i read around five to seven
pages and not every day so this one was
a little bit challenging for me but i'm
glad i did it because of that i finished
one book and i'm almost about to finish
the second book i'm going to try to read
10 pages a day if i can do that i can
read one book per month that is one of
my goals for this year rule number three
exercise before one hour a day you have
to work out at least one hour a day and
it can be any type of exercise like
walking running yoga gym or home workout
this one was the hardest challenge there
were days when i couldn't go to the gym
so i had to work out at home i don't
think it's good to work out every day
especially weight lifting because your
muscle need time to rest but what you
can do is to guard you on your rest day
or go on walk what i'm going to do is
the push-pull leg split where i train
three days have a rest day then train
three days again and repeat if you find
this video helpful so far please give it
a like that really helps to get my
message out to more people rule number
four no junk food and alcohol
so no burgers fries pizzas soft drinks
and alcohol because i eat healthy most
of the time and don't drink that much
alcohol this challenge wasn't that
difficult but it was a little bit
difficult when i went out to eat with my
friends because they wanted to eat
burgers and fries and i was not allowed
to eat that don't get me wrong i love my
quality burgers and fries i just try to
limit myself because for me being
healthy is more important and when we
went to a cafe while they drink beer i
had to drink water rule number five
dedicate one hour towards a new skill i
like this one i think it's important to
keep on learning about new topics and
expand your knowledge can be any skill
any skill that you are interested in
personally i learned a lot about
personal finance and investing about the
stock market index fund etfs and crypto
i'm really interested in crypto and have
been investing in it if you are
interested in crypto or investing in
general send me a dm on instagram i
would love to connect rule number six do
your morning routine i think having a
good morning routine is very important
there will be no distraction
you will have time to work on yourself
and plan your day you can put most of
the rules of this challenge into your
morning routine like reading learning a
new skill and working out and i would
also put meditating in your morning
routine this would be my ideal morning
routine rule number seven track your
daily progress in a journal tracking
your progress is very important in all
aspects of your life from business to
goals to finance so i journaled every
day in a notebook wrote down how my day
was how i was feeling
my thoughts and my goals for the day i
think it's good to journal and write
down your thoughts but instead of
writing it down i'm documenting and
journaling by making private vlogs for
myself i like to express my feelings and
my thoughts by talking rather than
writing them down it doesn't matter how
you do it just track and document your
progress they also recommend documenting
the journey by filming your day and
posting them on instagram or tiktok they
will give you some kind of
accountability which will help you stay
consistent and motivated that's what i
did so if you want to check out my
journey day by day check them out on
instagram and tick tock the most
important lesson that i learned from
this challenge is you have to be
consistently good to be great you just
have to show up consistently and be
disciplined i will end this video with
this quote it's more important to be
consistently good rather than
occasionally great
