Q & A

😳 L'affaire X Tiger, alias Captain Maui

Highlights
The issue of scam games on Roblox persists, with even popular YouTubers like one with 700,000 subscribers involved in the creation of fake games.
A YouTuber created a fake version of the highly anticipated game Real SE, capitalizing on the hype to scam users.
Scammers use fake loading screens and premium payouts to trick players into staying in the game longer, allowing them to earn money.
These fake games often charge users Robux for access, and many users, particularly children, fall for the scam.
Even though the scam games have low ratings and are reported, they still appear in Roblox recommendations.
The YouTuber Captain Maui, also known as X Tiger, has a history of scamming and frequently changes his online identity to avoid backlash.
Captain Maui publicly criticized Real SE, calling it a 'linear simulator,' despite not having played the game, to promote his own game Eternal Peace.
Eternal Peace, developed over three to four years, was poorly received by the community and considered one of the worst games.
Captain Maui rebranded his failed game as Anime Piece, and later renamed it Real SE, attempting to cash in on the Real SE hype.
Despite blatantly copying Real SE’s branding, Captain Maui tried to cover up by adding a note saying it’s not the real Real SE.
Captain Maui’s scam game offered numerous expensive in-game purchases like Fruit Bag and Conqueror's Haki, preying on unsuspecting players.
The fake game retained Anime Piece’s original branding in-game, making the scam obvious to more discerning players.
Captain Maui’s YouTube and Roblox accounts are easily traceable back to his scam games, showing no effort to hide his involvement.
The scam became more public when other YouTubers like Dreamchaser exposed the situation, forcing Captain Maui to close the fake game.
The speaker urges players to research before purchasing any Roblox games and recommends checking YouTube or official Discord servers to avoid being scammed.

so I'm not going to lie last time I made
a video on the RC scam situation I was
thinking you know we're going to be done
with it we're not going to have to worry
about it surely people wouldn't keep
falling for this and people wouldn't
make more scam games and the worst part
is I just remembered my YouTube password
I try to come back you know on a
positive note but somehow we just got to
keep scaming and it's not just people on
Roblox alt accounts making fake games
anymore we have legitimate popular
people on the platform someone with
700,000 subscribers going in here and
making a fake rail SE game and the
situation with that YouTuber is even way
crazier and way worse than you probably
know even if you know of the situation
the same YouTuber that made a fake real
se's game was also the same YouTuber
that was openly publicly trash talking
the game saying his game was going to be
better than it or I don't know if he
said his game or Blox roots or both but
regardless you get the point but before
we get into that entire mess of a
situation let me actually explain the
context of this whole scam and why this
whole scam situation is even happening
so I'm not sure who exactly started this
fake game TR in what game it was started
with but basically someone figured out
if you make a fake version of a Roblox
game with a lot of hype that's not out
yet people will either search it up or
get it on the recommended by Roblox
somehow and then they'll either log on
the game and they'll basically have a
fake version of the game which is
obviously way worse than the game is
supposed to be but some people still
somehow think that's real I guess or
they'll just make the game an infinite
loading simulator where it will say
you're loading in and you're like having
problems logging in the game but in
reality you have no problems there is no
problem to have the game is just fake so
basically it's just a fake loading
screen to convince people to leave the
game on and give them free premium
payout and on top of this a lot of times
they'll also make the game cost Robux or
then people will spend Roo thinking
they're buying the real game or buying
early access to the real game whole time
it's literally a fake game I don't
really know how people are falling for
that but they are I've had a ton of
people message me saying they fell for a
ton of people messaging my Discord mods
telling them hey I fell for this what do
I do but I'm not going to lie to y'all
if y'all really fall for this you're
cooked and I know a lot of y'all are
falling for this but I really don't
understand how just look at the rating
the amount of players in the game look
up a YouTube video I really don't
understand how you guys are falling for
this or some of you guys are falling for
this cuz let me not group y'all all
together when some people hey some of us
are clearly a little bit different they
falling for this now but let me be
serious for a second I'm sure a lot of
the sales and a lot of the people
getting scammed are just little kids and
the other people that aren't little kids
are probably just getting really excited
their brain is literally convincing
themselves that this game is real they
know it's not real but they're like
please be real please be real they spend
the 200 robblox or how much these games
charge but let me literally show you my
Roblox homepage right now so you can see
kind of the severity of the situation so
if we go to Roblox right now let me
refresh the page just so y'all know I'm
not lying you know what I'm saying we
seen great anime Vanguard Vu piece
Heroes online 2 you know some cool games
right what is this real SE real Seas I
recommend it for you and this has been
here for days I think weeks actually at
one point there was two rail se's games
that I recommended at once somehow two
different versions of rail se's are in
my game I don't know which one real
which one fake they both fake I know
they're both fake but you get the point
and what's so crazy to me is this is
recommended to me with a 38% rating
Roblox there's got to be some type of
rating standard we got in here there's a
game with 38% rating probably a ton of
people reported the game as well because
they obviously got scammed by it if we
click on the game it cost 200 Robux
2,000 dislikes 1,000 likes so basically
what that means is minimum 2,000 people
got scammed I'm assuming it's way more
probably not everybody disliked it let's
be for real no this is insane he they're
evolving he's trying to put please note
that this isn't the real real se but
it's a w version for show he's actually
bro he thinks he's slick bro nobody that
bought this actually read the
description or he changed the
description after to try to get the game
not taken down bro let's be so serious
bro you know what you're doing like if
this game for example really wanted
people to know as a fan version and not
making the mistake of buying it they
would put it in the title and they
wouldn't clearly use R se's branding on
literally everything to try to make it
look like it's real SE and they just put
a little note saying it's not the real
R's come on let's be so serious but now
that y'all understand the main problem
that's happening with Roblox and in
particularly real se's right now let me
actually talk about the big situation I
wanted to talk about and I got to give
you guys context on this scam game
because the way he was trash talking
real se's and then went to making a real
SE scam game is crazy wor and that's
with the big YouTuber with 700,000
subscribers X Tiger but you would
probably recognize him under his other
name Captain Maui or sleepy Maui or just
m I think he said like a million
different names because every time he
scams and whatnot he changes his name
for whatever reason and probably trying
to avoid like people coming after him or
something but he still uses the same
YouTube channel so he thinks we can't
see him but he he's standing right there
in broad daylight we can all see you and
if for whatever reason you don't think
this is the same guy and you think this
is a new guy you could literally look at
his videos some of his videos have
Captain Maui in the title it's literally
the same guy so Captain Maui made a game
called Eternal piece this game took I
believe like three or four years of
development I know it took a very long
time and generally people hated the game
and they said it was bad like I'll
probably put some of the images on the
screen of the game it was it it was one
of the games of all time for sure let me
just put it like that but when his game
was about to release like eight or so
months ago he decided you know how can I
get promo for my game let me trash talk
real se's and act like my game is way
better and talk about my game compared
to real se's so we ended up making a
video calling rail se's a simulator
basically just acting like the game is
trash which is crazy too cuz he was
hella confident like he knows everything
about the game when the game isn't even
out he hasn't played the game and stay
with me now cuz I'mma to play all the
clips I know it's going to be a little
bit of a hard watch but trust me get
through it so I can explain this whole
thing to you piece is a banded beater
100% um I can't really see a one piece
RPG not being a banded
beater and uh for everyone watching
saying R se's is the best game R's is a
linear progression if you guys don't
know what linear progression means it's
it roses is a simulator and I'm sure
y'all looking dumbfounded on the screen
with what he just said but I already
explained this stuff before so basically
let me just speedrun pointing at the
problems with this whole Logic the first
thing is I don't know how you can't see
a one piece game not be a banded beater
a bandit beater literally means you're
spending 90% of the gameplay going from
Bandit Circle to Bandit Circle or at
least that's the definition I believe
should be used for if we're just
counting fighting mobs as Bandit beater
I feel like at that point the whole
conversation is redundant of course you
have to fight mobs in a video game
that's a RPG but it's hard for me to
genuinely believe that he thinks you
can't make a one piece game without
making it the Bandit Circle of Death
simulator but let me stop yapping I want
to get into the rest of the points R's
is a linear progression if you guys
don't know what linear progression means
it's it Rosies is a
simulator R is oh hey I'm going to go
cut down a tree I cut down a tree I
leveled up BR is hey I'm going to go
fishing okay I'm done fishing I leveled
up bro C is hey I'm going to go deliver
this letter I leveled up bro hey I'm
going to go farm on this pickaxe and I'm
going to go farm and pick up plants I
leveled up bro C say hey I'm going to
I'm going to go fight this Bandit and
level it up R is hey I'm going to go
punch someone in the face PVP him and
kill him I leveled up basically
everything you do in Real's you level up
but to me I don't like that kind of
stuff it's just a
simulator um the graphics are good the
combat's good
nonetheless but yeah man I'll I'll stick
to what I like I like you know GPO block
shoots stuff like that and I'm going to
be so real with y'all I don't got it in
me to explain how stupid this is so let
me let old Swift do it for me the first
thing he said is rail se's is a linear
game and essentially he's saying it's a
linear game because it allows you to do
whatever you want and that's not what a
linear game means a linear game is
something that makes you go in order a
nonlinear game is what he's talking
about his game and pretty much every
other one piece game on the platform
right now are linear games like I said
in a linear game you're forced to go in
a certain order I guess the easiest
example of a linear game that pretty
much everyone knows is Blox fruits and
I'm definitely not the biggest of block
shots but just because the game is
linear doesn't necessarily make it bad
but it block shs you go from one Bandit
Camp to another Bandit camp at a higher
level requirement and you're forced to
go in that Island order now in a
nonlinear game you're not forced to go
in any particular order so you don't
have to go from this island to this
island to this island and you don't just
have to beat one particular Bandit Camp
then another Bandit Camp you could go
and fish or cook or do other things in
the game and just to clarify you don't
have to fish or cook that was just an
example like if you wanted to go beat
Bandits on a different Island you could
do a different order kind of the same
way but just in a different order and it
gives you more freedom now that's
generally how you would kind of assume
ral's progression system is but we don't
exactly know all the specifics which is
why I kind of try to stay away from
talking about things like this just
because they are very specific things so
I don't really understand why he's
talking like he actually has played the
game or knows everything about the game
because even I don't and it's damn near
my full-time job to know so after you
guys just heard what he said about real
SE you're probably not going to believe
what I'm going say next so he
re-released that same game he was
talking about eternal peace which is his
previous game he basically revamped the
game or I don't even know if he revamped
it but he rebranded it and called it
anime piece and then re-released it and
I'm assuming it didn't do too well
because for whatever reason he changed
the name from anime piece to real se's
release the game was doing bad enough
that he said it let me just try to
scam I'm hoping nobody bought these game
passes but if you go to the store look
how many game passes there are fruit bag
fruit Notifier dark blade conqueror
hockey they got everything now
realistically I would say surely nobody
fell for this literally when you
launched the game it says anime P still
it doesn't even say R but I I really
don't know at this point because the way
people are falling for these scams I
wouldn't even be surprised but my boy
Dreamchaser is actually the one that put
me on this entire situation with him and
basically Dreamchaser made a video on
this I believe a day or two ago and I
think some other YouTubers covered it as
well and now he actually closed the
realc scam game now it's called gamer
closed so I can't hop in and show you
guys what it was but it was basically
just his old game and he just called it
real Seas basically and hoping people
are dumb enough to play it which
hopefully they weren't and for whatever
reason if you don't think it is you
could go to his group and that's
literally his Roblox group it has anime
piece as the logo you go to owner it's
ex tiger the group literally is 36,000
members he's not even trying to hide it
cuz if you click on the YouTube in the
game description like the YouTube link
it literally goes to his channel he he's
blatant he doesn't care if you go to the
description of his videos he links his
Roblox profile which is the same one
that owns the group for the scam game
like you can't make this up it's so blat
he didn't even try he didn't even care
to try to make it less obvious like oh
it's not me it's a alter account nothing
I don't know if he thinks we're going to
like play it off as a joke like bro
we're familiar with your game I don't
know what to tell you it's obvious man
what you're trying to do like watch him
say was a social experiment he's trying
to see how many people on Roblox are
dumb enough to fall for that or
something but bro we know what you're
trying to do but y'all can't tell me
it's not crazy as hell what he did trash
talking real seas and then changing his
game to try to be real se but y'all if
y'all see any type of real se's game in
the future if it's not before December
first of said they're not even releasing
before December so it's already fake at
that point but just do the tiniest bit
of research and it'll be obvious if the
game's a scam or not look up a YouTube
video join the R's Discord whatever bro
it's really easy to find out if it's
real or not and that goes for pretty
much all future Roblox anime games cuz
people are continuing to spam this for
every single popular game so just be
aware of it but do you know what's not a
scam the like And subscribe button it
actually gives you quality content and
it boosts the algorithm for me so I'd
appreciate it thank y'all love y'all I'm
telling yall hit that button you don't
want to scam thank y'all later
