moi l'histoire ne permet de remonter

sorte 2500 ans au grand maximum pour ce
qui concerne l'Europe j'ai découvert le
métier comme ça ça m'a
PL l'archéologie commence en France avec
l'arrivée de l'homme qui arrive vers il
y a à peu près un million d'années et
l'archéologie dure jusqu'à
maintenant
l'archéologie préventive c'est la
sauvegarde au quotidien des des milliers
de sites archéologiques qui risquent
d'être détruit chaque année donc il
s'agit dans certains cas de les
sauvegarder complètement quand on peut
le joler mais évidemment c'est pas
possible sur une autoroute ou ligne de
TGV donc dans ce cas-là on pratique la
fouille archéologique c'est ce que la
loi appelle aussi la sauvegarde par
l'étude
scientifique sur les lots dis sensibles
on a commencé donc les reconnaissances
archéologique 2 ans avant le démarrage
des chantiers de
terrassement c'est une opération qu'on
doit anticiper le le plus possible il y
avait de la marge mais pas de
trop le passage des archéologues sur
l'emprise du terrain pour les grands
aménageurs c'est quelque chose qui fait
partie du projet et qui est à la fois
donc programmé et budgétisé on a aucun
état d'âme à ce sujet résultat des
sondages de l'autre côté
quand on aura fini ça on ira
l'aut ce qui fait que les sociétés sont
ce qu'elles sont et qu'elles ont une
dynamique c'est qu'ell elles consacrent
une grande partie de leur énergie à leur
survie mais elles en consacrent une
autre à des choses qui apparemment n'ont
pas l'air utile or elles ont une utilité
sociale profonde l'archéologie elle
permet de faire prendre conscience aux
populations contemporaines dans les
espaces dans lesquels en fouille
qu'elles ont un passé très ancien
toujours très ancien et que elles ont
œuvré dans cet espace comme eux
aujourd'hui sont en train de vraer dans
cet espace et qu'elles en ont fait ce
qu'ils ont sous les yeux et donc il y a
la matière à réflexion citoyenne non pas
pour faire du passé table rase ou pour
pleurer sur un monde que nous avons
perdu pour citer un auteur anglais mais
au contraire pour appuyer sur ces
expériences du pass c'est construire en
réfléchissant dessus les nouveaux
aménagements de l'avenir la LGV c'est
pas autre
chose l'obsession on va dire de moi et
d'un certain nombre d'autres personnes
ici c'est de comprendre comment les
choses s'organisent de manière à ce
qu'on puisse adapter notre fouille à ça
aussi qu'est-ce qui est vraiment le plus
important ou le plus inhabituel et
j'aimerais bien savoir j'aimerais bien
retourner à l'époque merovergenne et et
savoir vraiment si les hypothèses qu'on
échafautee sont vraies ou si on est
complètement à côté de la plaque ce
qu'on saura jamais peut-être
complètement cela dit effectivement nous
cherchons à avoir une démarche
scientifique dans le le sens où nous
cherchons toujours comme tout
scientifique à vérifier la
représentativité statistique de ce que
nous découvrons et la représentativité
donc de ce que nous découvrons par
rapport à ce que nous pouvons penser
avoir été la réalité de l'époque on sait
bien qu'entre la réalité de l'époque et
aujourd'hui il y a eu des destructions
il y a eu de l'érosion 80 à 90 % de la
réalité du passé a disparu mais le fait
de multiplier effectivement le même type
de découverte sur différents sites
d'habitat ou différents sites funéraires
nous permet effectivement de reconnaître
lesrégularités en question et donc
d'assoir nos
conclusions sur un grand linéaire comme
le TGV on comme vous le savez on ne
fouille que le fuseau qui est détruit on
ne va pas chercher la suite d'un site à
l'extérieur du fuseau qui est détruit et
ça c'est la grosse contrainte de
l'archéologie préventive mais au moins
on a l'opportunité d'avoir une
compréhension globale sur une longue
distance et par exemple un des apports
de ce tracé ça été de montrer où sont
les limites les limites en terme de
culture jusqu'à quel point dans l'Est de
la France on utilise tel tel mode de
construction tel type d'architecture

ou tel type de céramique ce qui nous
permet nous de qualifier des cultures et
de les traduire en ce qu'on appelle dans
notre jargon les aires chronoculturelles
c'est-à-dire les espaces où les sociétés
ont pratiqué les mêmes usages dans un

l'archéologie c'est de nous faire

n'y avait pas eu l'archéologie et bien

de faire un peu de terrain du poste

quoi ça va du lavage du mobilier à son
inventaire son tri sa description et

l'archéologie est absolument

la modernité notre propre société a un
niveau de conscience de son passé hein
du passé de l'humanité en général qui
est quand même plus poussé que le niveau
de conscience que pouvaient avoir les
autres civilisations de notre passé mais
ce que l'on constate tout de même c'est
que toutes ces civilisations aussi
brillantes était l'été ont connu
effectivement des déclins extrêmement
forts à certains moment donc il n'y a
aucune raison de penser que notre propre
société ne puisse pas être sujette au
même type de risque éventuellement de
catastrophe jamais l'homme n'a maîtrisé
la nature quand un marin prend la mer
par exemple en aucun cas un marin ne
prétendrait maîtriser la

naviguer vous savez composer avec un

à bâtir des routes savoir où nous

connaissance sur l'histoire de
