Transcripts
there's just been a new method on how to
get true stretch resolution completely
full screen which means with no taskbar
and no third party programs involved
this is a much easier method from all
the other stretch res tutorials I'm
going to show you step by step
completely on how to do it all so let's
do this firstly open valerant as normal
make sure everything is on your native
res and then open up something called
device manager now go down to monitors
and disable them but don't worry it
won't really affect much and it's just a
confused Valance to full screening your
game while using stretch resolution then
open the Nvidia control panel and select
change resolution now this is the most
important part as we need to create a
specific resolution which valerant
allows full screen for there are only
certain resolutions you can use for this
tutorial to work now we'll list them on
screen so click on customize make sure
enable resolutions not exposed by the
display is ticked and create a custom
resolution now just type one of the
resolutions on screen I'm going to do
1280 by 882 and don't forget to type in
your refresh rate click test and confirm
and apply your newly made custom
resolution now go back into valant where
everything should feel normal go to the
settings go onto video and click on the
letter box and press apply then go back
onto fill click apply and then you
should have true stretch resolution
completely full screened without any
black bars as you can see my game is
completely stretched without no use of
third party softwares but you must make
sure you're only try this method with
specific resolutions I've listed and I
will also keep updating the comments to
see if people people discover any other
resolutions that may work but let's say
you close valerant and do some on your
PC and you swap back to Native
resolution which everyone will do you
don't want to use your actual PC on this
resolution cuz it would just look
terrible the only thing you must do if
you want to play valerant again is
Select that custom resolution before you
load up and if you accidentally load up
in 1920 x 1080 then you might have to do
the process all over again now if you
still can't get it to work then please
feel free to message me on Discord and I
will try my best to help you out if this
helped you in any way please like And
subscribe and it's been your boy
critical peace out
