myself is my value proposition now if
you guys have been watching my videos
over the last year you've noticed that
in every single video after I deliver my
promise of value you hear me say my name

single one of my videos and what that is
is my value proposition but as I'm
making this transformation from being
just a social media strategist I'm
making that I'm trying to make that
transition into being the video
marketing expert that helps people get
results using organic video strategies
and also paid video strategies and so
today I'm gonna be working on my own
value proposition that I'm going to burn
into every single one of my videos I
have trained my audience over the last
year that I am their favorite social
media strategist and here's something
else that's super important and we're
gonna do this for you today
and I've also trained them to watch all
of my videos because I have positioned
that in every single video they're gonna
get something that they can implement
that is the one thing that I'm gonna
carry over into my new value proposition
now what we're gonna work on today is
going to be something that is literally
in every single one of these videos that
we're gonna do moving forward because
what we want to do is we want to train
our audience to learn hey if I watch
so-and-so's video I'm always going to
get something that we can take away okay
so what we're gonna do today is we are
going to actually create the value

and so what we're gonna do here is we
are going to minimize that so here's my

we're gonna add an additional sentence

gonna get in every single video okay so

formula how we bring in the headline
promised a value and then what we're
gonna do is this is going to be like our
humble brag this is gonna be our value
proposition and this is gonna be the one
thing that's going to be consistent
throughout every single one of our
videos okay and so today what we're
gonna do is we are gonna start with my
name is obviously right so I'm gonna go
ahead and fill out my name is write it
at the bottom

thing is I help who do we specifically
help down this is one of those things
that a lot of people have problems when
it comes to actually niching down is we
want to be able to specifically identify
who we are going to be talking to
because think about this I have a
student and she was saying well I help
women who were stressed out okay well
there are different types of situations
where different types of women will be
stressed out right women who are in
college they're stressed out about tests
they're stressed out about exams about
making it to class and all of these peer
pressure things right a woman who's a
stay-at-home mom with her children she's
got different stresses like picking up
the kids from school doing the laundry
while there's a little toddler at her
leg right wanting to bug her all the
time and never getting enough sleep
right I get that that complained a lot
from stay-at-home moms and then we have
the women who are entrepreneurs like
myself we get stressed out over you know
clients and client acquisition and and
client requests and all of this stuff
and then there's women who are in a
professional field right women with jobs
they've got a different stressors like
are they going to get to the next level
is our
they gonna be making as much as the the
man working with them is their boss an
there are all different types of
situations where women can get stressed
out and so as you're doing this exercise
I want you to really pinpoint who is my
ideal audience right because the more
that I can pinpoint hey I help women who
are in the professional field right then
I can start delivering messaging that's
going to specifically talk to that woman
because if you're trying to reach all
women who are stressed out you're gonna
have all kinds of messaging problems
because you're never really gonna be
talking directly to one woman you're
gonna be trying to cast that net so as
you're doing this exercise think about
it Who am I specifically talking to
where my message is not gonna get muddy
it's going to be like you want people
who are scrolling through their newsfeed
to identify oh my gosh this person is
talking directly to me right because if
you just say hey women are you stressed
out you want to be able to say are you
stressed out over getting that next
promotion in your job or are you
stressed out because you have to fold
the laundry but yet you also have to go
pick up your kid from school and then
you also have to pick up this kid from
karate practice right that's going to
attract a certain type of woman versus
just a blanket statement or women
stressed out okay so as we're doing this
exercise I want you to keep that in mind
