have you ever stumbled Upon A mysterious
gym in a Minecraft tower and wondered
what's this for you're not alone it's
easy to overlook until you discover an
armor piece with a special socket from
the apotheosis mod suddenly it clicks
this gemm must fit into the socket but
how does it work and what is apotheosis
anyways well don't worry because today
I've got you covered I'm AO and today's
video we're diving deep into the world
of apotheosis this is Minecraft mods
unlocked let's get started all right so
let's start with uh what gems are so
gems are pretty much like enchantments
they come in different Rarities such as
cracked chipped flawed then just Gem and
then Flawless and then perfect and
obviously with the uh you know lesser
Rarities they're going to have less
stats and then over here with perfect
it's going to have more stats so if we
compare the light and ranged weapons on
the the Top Line there it's 30 30% crit
chance here and it's just 5% crit chance
here so I guess you can see it's it's
much it's much stronger gyms can also be
found in pretty much any structure uh
including Villages and you know
different Towers there's even even
apotheosis added a tower specifically to
find gems uh and stuff like that at the
top of it and throughout throughout the
tower on the way up and stuff um some
gems can only be applied to certain
armor so like this one right here it's
uh you know when socketed in helmets
plus 5% to all stats whereas this one
over here when socketed in light weapons
plus 1% armor so as you can see there's
no helmets and you may also wonder what
a light weapon is compared to a heavy
weapon and it seems like a light weapon
is just a sword and a heavy weapon is an
axe I saw on Reddit um that people were
thinking it was attack speed but in the
current version of apotheosis it doesn't
seem like attack speed contributes to
whether a weapon is light or heavy it's
just a light weapon is a sword and a
heavy weapon is an axe okay so now we
know what gems are so I think the best
way to continue is just to tell you what
each of these blocks do before I
actually get into how to do the rest
like applying gems and stuff so this
Anvil it just is used to crush uh gemms
that you don't like into gym dust to
later upgrade items that you do like um
this table is used to apply Gems or to
take gems off and I'll show you how to
do that later this table is used to
scrap like armor like say you found like
a a Mythic chest plate but you already
have a Mythic chest plate you can scrap
this armor and then roll your Mythic
chest plate in either one of these
tables here um rrolling is basically
just changing the statistics of it uh
apart from the gems that you applied
manually um the difference between the
simple reforging table and the regular
reforging table is that the simple
reforging table can only reforge up to a
rare while this the regular reforging
table can reforge all the way up to
Mythic so the highest level that you can
reforge and this table here basically
all it does is you can add two of the
same Gem and then add some dust and some
Essence like one of these here and then
it can upgrade both of your gems into
one gemm of the next level I want to
take a quick second to remind you guys
that if you're enjoying the video just
go ahead and leave a like and or
subscribe and do all the other YouTube
things that you probably hear everybody
else say to do and I greatly appreciate
it all right so now let's get into just
applying gems to uh armor that you like
say you found this chest plate
everybody's favorite gold you know
somewhere in a chest or maybe a mob
dropped it or whatever you found it it's
got an empty gem socket as you can see
right there one socket so you say you
found a gem now we're going to use a
chipped gem but you can use any of these
will work um so basically all you have
to do and it's pretty simple is you just
bring it over to the smithing table you
add your chest plate you add your gym
and then as you can see
there you now have a new chest plate
with a gym inside of it all right so
let's talk about mobs next the mobs that
um apotheosis add are technically called
invading bosses and canonically they
come from a dungeon underneath the
ground uh but really they just spawn in
and the Rarity of the mob is dependent
on the color of text that uh you see
when it first appears and over its name
tag
um so if a you know gray oh also it has
an outline around it like it's been hit
with a spectral Arrow when you get close
enough so that you can see it but uh
basically if it's a gray outliner name
then it's going to be a common whereas
if it's a blue it's going to be a rare
and so on and so forth in the
Overworld uh only I think the more
common varieties spawn so it's just like
common uncommon and I think rare and in
the nether in the end they start getting
to be the more uh rare kinds especially
in the end with Mythic spawning almost
all the time now when you kill these
mobs they drop their equipment whether
it be a sword or a shield or you know
armor or whatever and a lot of times it
will already have multipliers on it and
I'm going to show you now when you have
something with multipliers on it you can
actually either reforge it or what we
call rrolling it I guess um or you can
actually upgrade it as well to have
better multipliers and and special
abilities and stuff like that on it and
I'll show you how to do that now so all
you need to do is have say two of the
same type or a type oh you know one type
weaker and one type stronger of the
armor so say you had two two of these
all you would do is you would come over
to the salvaging table you would Salvage
this one and it says you get two to four
here and then you would come over to uh
say you have some gems that you don't
like you would actually let me just go
ahead and show you this too you would
take these
gems just throw them all on the ground
whatever ones you don't like then just
take an anvil and crush them and that
will give you gem dust here I already
had 64 but I had another stack there now
um so basically all you have to do after
you have scrapped the the item that you
don't like again I can show you that
right here see it says 1 to four Crystal
Shards luminous and it's luminous
Crystal Shards because it's of the rare
variety cuz luminous is just rare um so
after you scrap it you just come over to
the simple reforging table if you're
doing anything rare or below or the
regular reforging table if you're doing
anything like epic or above and you know
epic would be considered this one or
Mythic um so you would come over here
and as you can see right here I get when
attacked gain resistance for 6 seconds
um you just put that in here you put
that in there and then you just throw
some dust in there and you know you can
reforge this at the same level as it
already is or if you want to upgrade it
you would come over to this table if
you're upgrading above anything above
rare uh above rare excuse me you would
come here and then you would add your
upgrade material and as you can see it
goes from Blue which is rare to you know
purple which is epic and then you know
now you can change your different like
abilities and stuff like like that so as
you can see here when attack gain
bursting Vitality fire damage taken is
reduced by
12% and it's got three sockets on it
when you roll you can get more sockets
than what you initially have so as you
can see I have two here and then over
here I have three so that is you know
pretty valuable but sometimes it will
bring down your armor or sometimes it
will bring down you know your armor
toughness or or you know whatever but as
you can see here this only has 10 .5
armor compared to here where it has
eight armor so it's not always the most
expensive
one that is the best you it depends on
what you like um as well you need tons
of levels so over here what you would
need is just 45 levels um over
here you need 90 so it takes a lot of
levels to get there but you can apply
other things to your
uh chest plate to or to your armor in
general to get better levels or to your
uh swords and stuff like that to get
better levels I think one is knowledge
of the ages but you know a different
enchantment video would come at a
different time and we'll go into that
all right so say that you find a piece
of armor that you really like uh such as
this one right here you can add sockets
to it two different ways and I'll show
you both of them now so the first way is
just how we rerolled stuff we just
grabbed you know the the materials and
then the gem dust and you can come over
to the foraging table and you can just
add it into there and then you'll have
you know your sockets that way so that
one has one that one has two and that
one has none another thing to note is
even if you already have sockets on your
armor sometimes when you reforge on one
of these options like this one right
here it actually takes the socket away
even if you already have the socket so
even though I don't have a socket here
if I did it would it would take the
socket away sometimes that's good if the
multiplier at the top there is better
than what the socket provides but I
think it's always better to have at
least one socket now the second way to
apply sockets to your armor is either
the Sigil of socketing or the superior
Sigil of socketing I don't really know
why you would use either of these over
that method because that also gives you
multipliers on top of it but if you want
to add uh sockets to your armor other
than you know or without multipliers
then you could also do it this way
and so like I was saying you just use a
smithing table and you just throw your
armor in there and you throw your Sigil
of socketing in there and they're kind
of hard to make because you need
dragon's breath and you know a load
Stone and all that other stuff so you're
already going to have to go to the end
so you're probably going to have better
armor than you know this but if you
wanted to add something to this then you
would just add a Sigil of socketing and
you can do this three times with a
regular Sigil of socketing and if you
have a superior Sigil of socketing you
can actually do it one more and to prove
it's just one more as you can see there
it now has four and it won't go any
higher now to prove what I was saying
earlier you can actually just throw some
of this in here and as you can see it
does take away some of your sockets even
if you already have four in there so
this one only gives one at the highest
level here now I'm going to go ahead and
buy this just because I want to show you
this one more time so say that you have
two pieces of gear that you really like
say you really like this one but you
want the material from this one to maybe
roll something over here later so what
you can do is scrap the one that you
don't like keep the one that you do like
and again it'll give you one to four
luminous
crystals and only reason I'm repeating
that is because it kind of confused me
when I first was researching it for this
video so let's move on to the gemm
cutting table and I'll show you how to
use that really quick so say that you
have two gyms we're going to use maybe
the gym uh the fla gym of the warlord
why not so we're going to use that
and we're going to need some gem dust
and we just come over to the gem cutting
table so all you need to do is add a gem
here add a gem here and then you need
your gem dust here and as you can see it
says you know one AR one Arcane Sands
three luminous Crystal Shards or nine
time worn fabrics and this will upgrade
once you put the time worn Fabrics in
there it will upgrade the fla gems to
the very next level which is the gem and
say you had two regular gems as you can
see it's now pink and then it requires
uh different material so now it would
require the Luminous Crystal Shards or
the Arcane Sands or the god Forge steel
so it no longer requires this because
it's not strong enough so if we got
something like the Arcane Sands here and
then we put our crystals in there so
that's the gym and put the gym dust and
then I'll put the Arcane Sands in there
so as you can see it requires three of
those and it turned yellow and now I
have six 61 this is unobtainable so this
obviously doesn't matter but if you
wanted to do it again you would need
three godge God forg steel so it just
gets more and more difficult each time
that you go on and obviously you get God
forg Steel by uh scrapping or salvaging
I guess from the salvaging table some
Mythic uh you know armor or chest plates
or whatever to get the god Forge steel
okay so now we know how to put gems on
and we know how to roll but what if you
want to take a gym off or what if you
want a gy for a different piece of armor
well lucky for you you can either use
the vial of searing exposion or the vial
of Arcane extraction and all you have to
do is come over to the smithing table
that I totally didn't destroy earlier
and you just add whatever uh you know
armor you want to take the stuff off of
and for here it would be the vial of
Arcane extraction and it would give you
back the obviously I have three gems in
here but it would only give you back one
uh and so that destroys the armor but if
you wanted to use if you wanted to keep
the armor then you would Ed the vial of
searing exposion and it would let you
keep the armor destroying all the gems
so you can either destroy the armor and
keep the gem uh or keep the armor and
destroy the gem all right guys that
pretty much sums it up for this video if
you guys are wondering about the
enchanting for apotheosis then I'm going
to have a another video on that coming
very shortly so stay tuned and I'll see
you guys in the next one
