Transcripts
hello guys welcome back to my Channel
today I am going to be walking you
through everything that I did to my hair
within the last 7 days so to wash my
hair last week I actually used these
shampoo bars the shampoo bars that I
used are from the brand viori they
kindly sponsored this video so thank you
to viori so in these little baskets I
have a shampoo bar and a conditioner bar
so vor's products are inspired by the
Traditions used by the red Yao tribe
these women are known for their long and
Luscious Hair and they attribute that
hair to rice water as you guys know if
you are frequent viewers of my channel I
have talked about rice water in so many
videos rice water is rich in vitamins
and minerals that are supposed to help
with hair growth and just promote
healthy hair in general I have a lot of
experience using rice water on my hair
but because I am now a mom and I'm super
busy I just don't have time to make rice
water anymore so instead I can just use
the viori shampoo bars and conditioner
bars because they are enriched with long
Shang rice when it comes to shampoo bars
I always skeptical because I feel like
for some reason they just don't seem
like they would be something that would
create a lather trust me they create a
lather and I actually feel like the
lather is stronger than regular shampoos
that come in a bottle I was not
expecting them to lather that much they
definitely get the job done they washed
my hair perfectly my hair felt super
clean and shiny and smooth after using
them I really appreciate how gentle the
viori shampoo and conditioner bars are
but at the same time they are effective
so it's like the perfect combination in
a hair care product for my hair what's
also great about viori is their
commitment to sustainability their
package is plastic free that's just
great knowing that I'm getting healthy
shiny Smooth hair without contributing
any waste to the environment with the
packaging I'm going to link them in the
description below for you guys thank you
again to viori for sponsoring this video
So lately I have been really trying to
implement the hair layering technique
that I mentioned in one of my recent
videos If you guys haven't seen it I'm
going to link it in the description
below basically you're just layering
products in a certain order at certain
times throughout your hair care routine
throughout the week to protect damaged
parts of your hair before I blowdried my
hair I first went in with Lex number six
Bond smoother this would be like the
second layer of conditioning products or
smoothing products on my hair the first
layer would be the vori conditioner and
then over that I used Olex number seven
bonding oil and then blowdried my hair
as usual something else that I have
really been trying to do is make sure
that I'm keeping up with my nighttime
Hair Care routines so before bed I will
do the same thing that I do before I
blow dry I will will use a hair cream
and then like an oil or a serum over it
so on this day I wanted to try like a
new combination of products I used the
orbe hair Alchemy fortifying hair serum
and then I just went in with a little
bit of this Fable and M smooth and shine
hair oil when I woke up in the morning
my hair felt extremely oily and weighed
down that combination did not work for
my hair but if you have high porosity
hair I think that this combination of
products would work well for you another
thing that I've been doing is using a
bonnet so this is the Bonnet I don't
think people realize just how damaging
sleeping without protective pillowcase
or Bonnet is for your hair all of the
friction between your hair and the
pillow can really damage your hair so
that's why I've been using this Bonnet
and it works well because of the tie
first of all it's like really stretchy
it doesn't fall off my head it keeps my
hair smooth and healthy I don't wake up
with like rough feeling hair which
usually happens if I don't sleep with a
bonnet like this that's it for Monday
Tuesday I did not wash my hair I just
did a protective hairstyle so I've just
been doing this twist braid combo it's
super easy lately before I go to bed I
use Olex number six Bond smoother and
the Olex number 7 bonding oil because
this was day two hair um and I was going
to bed I used just like a little bit of
product but still just enough to protect
my hair then Wednesday I did not wash my
hair again I once again did the same
hairstyle that I've been doing lately
the um twist and braid combo then
Thursday I washed my hair this was
actually the first day that I did a
clarifying wash on my recently colored
hair so I was a little bit nervous on
how that would go I didn't want to rinse
out the color but at the same time there
is just no way I can go without doing a
clarifying wash I had my hair colored
about 3 weeks ago like a chocolatey
Brown and it was a single process color
I had it done at Fernanda beauty salon
in Somerville the best hair salon if you
guys are in the area you have to try it
so last week I had to do the clarifying
wash um and to do the clarifying wash I
used the redkin hair cleansing cream
that's like my go-to clarifying shampoo
I only shampooed once usually I shampoo
twice but I only did it once this time
because I was afraid that I was going to
rinse out all of the color from my hair
and then went in with a Japanese hair
mask this is the subaki hair mask and
I've been obsessed with this hair mask
lately seriously one of the best hair
masks that I've used I feel like I'm
always switching up what hair mask I use
but this is my favorite at the moment
yes the color was like slightly washed a
little bit but I don't think that
there's any way around it so I actually
decided to try air drying my hair on
this day I never air dry my hair just
100% just because for me air drying
until it's like like 60 to 70% dry and
then blow drying the rest is always just
what works best for my hair because when
your hair is wet it it's very prone to
damage your hair swells and it just
becomes very fragile I'm with my
3-year-old every day he often pulls at
my hair and just whether it's by
accident or on purpose and if that
happens when my hair is wet that is a
huge problem and my hair would
definitely get damaged so that's why I
don't like to leave my hair wet for too
long and why I don't air dry 100% blow
drying is not as bad for your hair as
people make it seem so anyway usually I
blow dry but on this day I just wanted
to air dry I just wanted to see what my
natural hair texture is right now I
haven't air dried it fully in so long my
hair is a lot straighter than it used to
be I still have the frizz when I'm air
drying but overall the texture it's just
really really straight this started to
happen after I had kids before it there
was a very small small wave just like at
the ends like it just like flipped out
at the ends but now it's just pretty
much completely straight I do have like
some textured pieces like here in the
front that get wavy but other other than
that my hair is just like straight I was
just about to go on to the last day of
this hair care throughout the week video
then I realized I actually forgot to
talk about something that I have been
doing a lot recently and just like a new
product that I've been using so this is
the honey Sakura deep moist hair oil
it's actually what I have been using on
the lengths and and the ends of my hair
before I wash it which is something
super important you always should
protect your hair before you wash it
because water is damaging to hair then
on the last
day I once again used the viori shampoo
bar and conditioner bar I towel dried my
hair applied Olex number six Bond
smoother and then oplex number 7 bonding
oil I blowdried my hair and then I used
used another heat protectant I used the
Tres thermal Creations heat protectant
spray then I did hair straightener curls
which is literally the easiest and the
fastest way to get a blowout it takes me
like 10 minutes to do all of my hair
very easy uh I will show you guys how I
do it if you want like a full in-depth
video on how I do hair straightener
curls I will film that for you thank you
again to viori for sponsoring this video
make sure to check out the viori shampoo
bars and conditioner bars thank you so
much for watching I hope you guys
enjoyed this video and I will talk to
you guys next time
