Transcripts
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
This creature has remained made of clay like pottery for tens of years
Then Allah commanded the angels, and Satan was among them,
to prostrate to him, all of them together, after He had breathed life into him
This is a command from Almighty Allah
As a solemn tribute to this new creature, to my father and your father, and to our father altogether
He is the first human
He is Adam
Your Lord said to the angels, “I am creating a human being from clay.
When I have formed him, and breathed into him of My spirit, fall prostrate before him.
The angels, all of them, were waiting, and the promised moment has come, and the blowing in the spirit has begun
Where did it start? From the head of Adam
The soul began to enter from the head of Adam
This clay that has become dry like pottery
Every time the soul passed through him, he transformed into a body with blood, veins, and flesh
Whenever the soul entered him, this clay turned into a human body, starting from the head
When the soul entered the head, Adam sneezed
And all the angels were watching
The angels said to Adam: Say, 'Alhamdulillah'
So Adam, peace be upon him, said, and all heard: Alhamdulillah
And the soul is now present in the head
Allah Almighty said to him: 'May your Lord have mercy on you.'
Then the soul was completed in the head, so Adam looked and saw the fruits of Paradise before him
In a majestic scene
The angels, along with Satan, and the Lord Almighty
Paradise was before him with its fruits until the soul reached his abdomen
So he immediately desired the food
The natural disposition began to take shape
These feelings, sensations, instincts, and the natural disposition began to form in our father Adam
As soon as the soul reached his abdomen, he immediately desired the food
So he hastened to go to the food to eat
The soul had not yet reached his feet
He leaped, eager to reach the food
Allah said: The human being was created of haste
Human beings have a nature of impatience
This nature formed in our father Adam from the very first day
Until the soul was completed in Adam, peace be upon him, in its most splendid form and best disposition
Adam, peace be upon him, stood before the angels, and as soon as they saw him, they prostrated, as Allah commanded them
As an honor to this new creation
All the angels prostrated
Allah knows best how many they were, thousands? Millions? Beyond counting?
Allah knows best how many they were
But not a single angel refrained from prostrating in honor of this new creation
So the angels fell prostrate, all of them.
This confirms that none of them held back
Except one creature
He is not from the angels, but from the jinn, yet Allah honored him
However, arrogance and pride kill their owner
For the first time, boldly, in heaven, Allah Almighty is disobeyed
Something terrifying!
What audacity!
What arrogance is this?
What disobedience did Satan exhibit?
He stands alone while all the angels prostrate
So the angels fell prostrate, all of them.
Except for Satan. He was too proud, and one of the faithless.
For the first time, the Lord Almighty is disobeyed in heaven, by whom? By this creature whom Allah honored
Unfortunately, he was not deserving of this blessing or that dignity
The Lord Almighty asked him,
“O Satan,
while He knows best
what prevented you from prostrating before what I created with My Own hands?
Are you too proud, or were you one of the exalted?”
Have you become arrogant?
Let's see the response of the wicked Satan
Let's see the audacity
He said, “I am better than he;
I am created from fire, and he is created from clay, why should I prostrate to someone inferior to me?
It is known to them that fire is superior to clay
How can I prostrate to him?
But the command is from Allah
The command is not from Adam
The command is from Allah but look at the arrogance
He said, “O Satan, what prevented you from prostrating
He said, “I am better than he; You created me from fire, and You created him from clay.”
Imagine Adam, the first thing he sees when he opens his eyes is the angels prostrating to him
and the Lord Almighty speaks to whom? He speaks to Satan and objects to him
A terrifying scene!
For the first time, Allah, the Almighty, is desobeyed in heaven
Satan revealed his pride, envy, wickedness, and his opposition to the command of Allah Almighty
He says: 'I am better than him, why should I prostrate to him?'
The curse began to fall upon Satan from that moment
He said, “Then get out of here! You are an outcast!
And My curse will be upon you until the Day of Judgment.”
How dare you defy the command of Allah, O Satan?
The curse fell upon him
The wrath of Allah Almighty descended upon him
He became a rejected devil from that moment, after being among the angels
He became cursed
Allah expelled him from the highest heaven and brought down his status once again
So at that moment, he exploited the situation
He did not seek forgiveness from Allah
He did not seek mercy from his Lord at all
Look at the wickedness of Satan
He asked one thing
He said, “Lord, defer me until the Day they are resurrected.”
O Lord, do not kill me now
I want one thing
What is your request, O Satan?
To live until the Day of Judgement
He wants to live even after the death of creation and until the Day of Judgment
He said, “Lord, defer me until the Day they are resurrected.”
Do you expect that he postponed his death to repent and seek forgiveness?
So that he can draw closer to Allah after the crime he committed?
Allah Almighty responded to him and said,
He said, “You are one of those deferred.
I will delay your term
Until the Day of the Time Appointed.”
Look at the wickedness of Satan with his Lord, His Majesty, while all the angels are witnessing and Adam is present
Do you know what Satan said at this moment?
After Allah Almighty granted his request to postpone his term until the Day of Judgment
Did you know the challenge that the Lord of the Worlds issued?
Look at the wickedness that you could never imagine to be more wicked than this
He said, “Because you have lured me,
Who lured you? Is Allah who lured you, O Satan?
But you are the lurer!
You are the arrogant one!
You are the envious!
Allah seduced you?
He attributes his deviation to his Lord. Look at the wickedness!
He said, “Because you have lured me, I will waylay them
Did you see this creature and his descendence?
I won't leave them alone!
Can you see the defiance?
This is when he knew that he is going to live until the Jugement Day
I will waylay them on Your straight path.
This means that Satan recognizes that Allah's path is the straight one
Look at the words chosen by Satan
Then I will come at them from before them, and from behind them, and from their right, and from their left;
I will come at them from in front of them and from behind them, from their right and from their left
Why didn't he say that he will come at them from above?
He is unable because he knows very well that Allah, the Almighty, is the one who is above
He fears!
and you will not find most of them appreciative.
I will not leave any of them to remain steadfast in worship; I will surely misguide them all
He said, “Get out of it, despised and vanquished. Whoever among them follows you—I will fill up Hell with you all.
Get out!
Do what you have to do, O Satan!
I will fill up Hell with you and with those who follow you among them
“And entice whomever of them you can with your voice, and rally against them your cavalry and your infantry,
and share with them in wealth and children, and make promises to them.”
Do what you want to do!
Bring you armies against them!
Then, Allah told Satan
“As for My devotees, you have no authority over them.”
You may misguide the wrongdoers like yourself, but you will not have power over My servants
Then he challenged his Lord
He said: My Lord!
He recognizes that He is the Lord, but look at the wickedness!
He said, O Lord, I will mislead them and deviate them from your straight path as long as I remain
So Allah Almighty responded to him and said, 'I will forgive them as long as they seek forgiveness from Me.'
It is the challenge before the Lord of the Worlds
Thus began the enmity of Satan towards Adam and his descendants from that moment
After the creation of Adam was completed and he saw the prostration of the angels and what happened with Satan
"Allah Almighty said to Adam: 'Go to this group of angels and greet them.'
So Adam went to the angels for the first time, while they were looking at him
What he is going to tell them?
He told them: 'Peace be upon you.'
The angels answered: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings
Allah said to Adam: 'This is your greeting and the greeting of your descendants after you.'
My descendants?
Indeed!
Allah Almighty made him at that moment all of his descendants and observed their number
Allah knows how many billions will come from the descendants of Adam, peace be upon him
Adam saw his descendants, and he saw the light on the faces of some of them
He saw one of them with a radiant face shining brightly
So he said, 'O Lord, who is this?'
He said: this is your son, David, one of the prophets
He said: how old is he, lord?
He said: he is 40 years
Adam's lifespan, as it was written for him, was one thousand years
Adam had not yet seen the world, nor had he seen Paradise, nor had he seen bliss
So he said, 'O my Lord, grant him sixty years from my lifespan.'
He had not seen the world, so he asked Him to give him sixty years from his lifespan to complete one hundred
So Adam's lifespan became one thousand minus sixty
Dawood became one hundred complete years
Then after this, Allah Almighty taught Adam the names of many things
He will dwell in Paradise
He taught him that this is a tree, these are leaves, this is fruit, this is food, this is a river, and so on
He taught him the names of many things that even the angels were unaware of
Then there was a test between the angels and Adam, peace be upon him
A test in knowledge
Who knews some of the names and some of the things
And He taught Adam the names, all of them; then he presented them to the angels
So the Lord asked the angels: 'What is the name of this?' 'What is the name of that?'
The angels expressed their ignorance about some matters
and said, “Tell Me the names of these, if you are sincere.”
The angels responded
They said, “Glory be to You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us.
It is you who are the Knowledgeable, the Wise.”
So the Lord Almighty asked Adam about the same names that the angels did not know
He said, “O Adam, tell them their names.”
The angels were looking
And when he told them their names, He said, “Did I not tell you
The angels were amazed
What is this creature that was just created?
He knows things that we do not know
He has knowledge that we do not possess
He knows things you do not know
Look at the high status of this creation, and the status of man in the sight of Allah,
and the status of knowledge and its virtue in the eyes of Allah Almighty
He said, “O Adam, tell them their names.”
And when he told them their names, He said, “Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth,
It's Allah!
and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal?”
Adam was created, and Allah taught him from His knowledge
Then after that, He admitted him into a garden, the width of which was the heavens and the earth
