and welcome to mark my words I want to
welcome you to this platform which my
intent for it is to help you overcome a
setback maybe you're going through one
right now you may know someone who is my
whole goal here is to help you overcome
a setback and or maybe you've gone
through a series of setbacks because
life can deal setbacks to us sometimes
and the goal here and this environment
is to help you navigate through that
setback so you begin you end up having
victory over and not being a victim of
it I in 2008 went through a setback and
in the form of a marriage breakdown a
business collapse and and a couple of
other issues as well as my health so it
wasn't a good year and it had the
potential to wipe me out
it has significant catastrophic setback
to do so I had to make a decision I was
either going to stay down on the canvas
or get up and I was going to allow these
situations that happen to me to to be
for me to be a victim of them for the
rest of my life or have victory over
them
and I decided to have victory over them
I just made that conscious decision and
then I started to implement some some
habits and some ways of thinking that I
needed to trust in and believing and
adopt through repetition and through
habit and what a family was these these
ways of thinking these these habits
started to work for me and there I put a
few of them in a list called 10 bold
steps which you can click on the link on
on this on this platform here you'll see
them 10 bold steps they're things ten
things that I did and adopted in my life
too to see me turn things around and
thank God that we were able to do just
that you know I'm happily married today
to the most
beautiful person I've ever met I've gone
from three kids and number of years ago
now to four got a nine month old and
we've rebuilt I've rebuilt my life
financially with my family into a
position where I'm in a better position
now than ever so I've got a lot to be
thankful for but I am convinced that it
was largely because of some ways of
thinking that and some habits that I
developed that was would able me to then
get some traction and start to rebuild
