to be teaming up with pepen to release

dumbbells well guess what you better

play the lottery because you are seeing

the future for me I figured they would

release a heavier version of their Quick

Draw and some type of reimagined design

however I never expected it to be a

collaboration with an entire different

company if you're not familiar with

Pepin they are a Canadian based company

that makes a few different types of

interchangeable dumbbells and the one

that rep Fitness teamed up with them was

with their fast series now these are

great because frankly they go heavy they

go a lot heavier than most

interchangeable dumbb valves you can get

these upwards of 120 lb now the problem

with these at least on the pepen website

is that they are not cheap now obviously

the prices you're seeing here are in

Canadian dollars and that would change

if you came to American dollars but you

got to pay for shipping as well the

other style that they actually have are

the uh Pro Series which I believe a lot

of people enjoy as far as going super

heavy getting a full knurling and while

the change overtime on these is not

going to be quick for most people they

get kind of used to it and it not

something that really hinders their

overall workouts if you're looking for

reviews on either of these uh basement

Brandon has gotten both of these in

house to review uh about a year ago and

he's gotten some big uh videos out on

them and he does a fantastic job

surprise has to be the fact that they

recently released those Quick Draw

adjustable dumbbells only a few short

months ago and these things are nice

they've got a lifetime warranty they are

reasonably priced for what they deliver

fully knurled handles however there was

two major complaints number one they

don't go high enough and I think that

was like a complaint from some of the

industry but most Weekend Warriors that

have a home gym that they use frequently

a couple times a week they're not that

strong and usually with dumbbells you're

only doing auxiliary exercises anyway so

the fact that these only went up to 60 I

think for most wasn't as big of an issue

as many on the interwebs would like to

complain about you can't handle the

truth the other major issue had to do

with the length of the dumbbell just to

put the quick draw length into

perspective they come in at like 18.5 in

for 60 lbs the 125lb dumbbells for the

Pepin rep Fitness fast series comes in

less at 18.3 in so much more Compact and

much more easier to maneuver even at a

much more massive more than than double

weight very few adjustable dumbbells are

going to go up to 125 lbs and that is

really heavy I mean I've got 105 lb

dumbbells and they've got a layer of

dust on them like this thick because I

almost never pull them out even for the

few exercises where I could be strong

enough to lift those weight I think a

ton of the gim Bros that are looking to

build out their home gym are going to

love these pepen fast series from rep

Fitness in large part because they go so

heavy there's very few interchangeable

dumbbells that go up to 100 lb let alone

over 100 lb the ones that come to mind

are the iron Masters uh these can go up

to 120 with the uh add-on kick kit you

can get power blocks up to 100 pounds

now that do have fully nled handles but

again not over a 100 pound and while

most people don't need to go over 100

pound I think what happens is people

want to have that massive weight just so

in case they want to pretend like

they're strong they can use it I'm sure

a lot of people who get these at 125 lb

pair are probably not going to be using

them um very much at that maximum weight

now one of the good things that rep

Fitness has done in the past on a few

other items is that they make things

upgradable meaning you can buy the 85 PB

pair see how you like it see if you're

going to be stronger or maybe it'll uh

if it'll handle your maximum lifts and

then simply upgrade in the future you

don't have to Reby the whole entire

adjust UST aable dumbbell as far as

warranties this comes with a lifetime

warranty another thing I was very

surprised that they slapped a lifetime

warranty on this but rep Fitness known

for their customer service known for

standing behind their products even

honestly after their warranty expires

now these rep Pepin fast series come in

with a 34 mm handle with volcano

knurling so that's nice that really

mimics the urane dumbbells especially

the ones over 55 lbs that you'll see at

a local gym I want to know from you your

while they are expensive they are

actually a lot cheaper than what they

were selling and a lot of people who

wanted the pepins but didn't want to pay

that price tag are going to just snap

these things up and quick I mean

September can't get here fast enough and

I'm surprised at rep Fitness for doing

the collaboration but from the hype and

marketing behind it it seems like it's

going to be an absolute success I do

wonder if it's going to eventually Drive

their quick draws out of the market but

for the majority of people they don't

necessarily need to go as heavy as 80 lb

so those quick draws are the affordable
