Outlines
🙏 The Importance of Solitude with God
The speaker emphasizes the necessity of setting aside time to be alone with one's thoughts, heart, and God. They argue that modern society often lacks this solitude, even when physically alone, due to constant distractions like technology and social media. This absence of quiet reflection can lead to living life according to worldly values rather than divine commandments. The speaker suggests that a closer relationship with God, who has the power over life and death, could foster kindness, forgiveness, and a more compassionate approach to fellow human beings.
🛐 Deforming God According to Worldly Values
In this paragraph, the speaker discusses the danger of not spending time alone with God in a physical sense, which can lead to a distorted understanding of God. They warn that without allowing God to reveal Himself, people tend to impose their own values and interpretations onto their concept of God, leading to a self-created deity that aligns with worldly perspectives. This self-deification can result in the rejection of scriptural truths that do not align with personal beliefs, ultimately leading to worship of a false god constructed from one's own weaknesses and societal sins.
⚔ Fighting for Time with God to Avoid Idolatry
The speaker passionately urges the audience to carve out time and space for solitude with God, not just for mental or emotional well-being, but to genuinely encounter the divine. They stress that in the quiet and stillness, God can reveal Himself in ways that may be uncomfortable, yet necessary for spiritual growth. The speaker warns against the risk of creating and worshipping a god in one's own image, which is a form of idolatry, and emphasizes the importance of adhering to the full teachings of the scriptures and the church to maintain a true relationship with God.
💖 The Value of Each Soul and the Call for Salvation
In the final paragraph, the speaker expresses deep love and concern for the audience, imploring them to recognize their inherent worth and the potential to become saints as intended by God. They acknowledge the struggle to maintain a life of virtue amidst the temptations of sin but encourage the audience to fight for their salvation. The speaker also expresses gratitude for the support they receive, which allows them to continue their spiritual journey, and ends with a prayer for mutual support and remembrance in each other's prayers.

hello my dear
ones I have one take to do this
recording before it gets too dark and I
do need to get back home to the
Monastery so here it goes um right from
the depth of my
heart we all need time to
ourselves we all need to set aside time
to be alone with our own thoughts and
our own hearts and with God our
creator we need to have time alone with
God so that we can
ReDiscover him as our creator the one
who had the power to bring us out of
nothingness into being and who also has
the power to bring us back into
nothingness back into the hell of
nothingness out of which we've been
created or to give us eternal life
making us partake of his own
being and the problem with our societies
and the problem with our lives the way
we build up our lives today is that this
alone time with on self and one's
Creator is almost non-existent even when
we are alone and I noticed that in
myself even when we are alone in our own
rooms in our own time for prayer we
still are never alone because we always
have even if we take aside our laptops
and uh phones and everything else we
still have our books with us we still
have voices surrounding us and because
of this effect of social media and this
internet that just rounds every aspect
of Our Lives again I've noticed this in
myself it is very difficult to escape a
NeverEnding conversation that happens
between oneself and some
imaginary um fr or Foe somewhere out
there but without this time alone to
look God face to face to allow God to
reveal himself to us as he chooses as he
knows is best for our Salvation then
what happens is that we end up living
Our Lives according to the rules and
values of this world instead of The
Commandments and the values of the world
world to
come if we all kept before our eyes God
our creator the one who can make us
partake of life or descend back into
nothingness then I think this immediate
relationship with God this immediate
relationship with our own mortality
would prohibit us and would prevent us
from being so horrendous to each other
so vile violent merciless and horrible
to our fellow brothers and sisters our
fellow
humankind if we had this closeness as
the fathers tell us uh of keeping our
mind straight onto the mind of God or
keeping our mind onto our own mortality
if we could have this remembrance of
death remembrance of the judgment to
come before our eyes then we would be
incomparably kinder more forgiving and
ready willing to overlook the mistakes
the sins of everyone else and then our
minds would be glued to our own sin
because we would be aware that it is for
this sin that I'm going to give answer
when I stand before Christ in judgment
not for the sin of my brother or my
sister which is what we waste our lives
doing we waste waste away our lives
judging everyone else except ourselves
when in fact when we stand in judgment
before God we are going to be judged for
our sins for our fallenness not for the
sins or the fallenness of our brothers
and
sisters and I'll tell you one more thing
and then I'll go the other thing that
happens when we don't take time to be
alone with God and I mean physical time
take time an hour or 5 hours or however
long God has blessed you to afford to
take and go away somewhere where you are
entirely alone go away to a place where
you simply hear nothing except the
sounds of God's
creation without this time alone with
God in which time God reveals himself as
he is to us we end up deforming God and
this is something that's heavy on my
heart because I I think this is the main
Temptation Of Our Generation what
happens is that without time alone with
our creator without allowing ourselves
this amazing unique opportunity of
Allowing God to reveal himself to us and
to teach us who he is in reality and
Truth we take we transfer the values of
the world around us onto our own
understanding of God and then we go
through even the scriptures and the
writings of the fathers and what agrees
what values agree with the values of the
world we keep and the parts the aspects
of divinity that do not agree with what
we today in our world hold on to be
truth we simply disregard we throw away
but when you do that what you ultimately
do is that you you amputate parts of God
you amputate parts of the truth that was
revealed to us by the mouth of Christ
himself and you end up building your own
God according to your own weakness
according to your own sin according to
the weakness and the sin of the world
around us the world that has given us
this values that have ended up shaping
us shaping us to the point that we can
go through scripture we can read the
truth about Christ as was revealed to us
by Christ himself and we feel
comfortable to reject the bits and
pieces that don't agree to these
values it's amazing to me that we
would
somehow find
the I don't want to say Madness but it
is
madness that it is amazing to me that
we've gotten to a point where we've been
possessed by this madness that makes us
think that we are the curators of truth
that we are the curators of God's truth
that we are making God we are building
him up we take the part of scriptures
that we
love and we leave aside the parts of
scriptures we don't like and then we end
up worshiping this God whom we created
and we do nothing except what the people
of old Israel and the
old Idol worshiping nations of the Old
Testament were doing we build a God we
call it God and then we worship that God
all our lives and then at the end of our
Lives when we look Christ in the eye he
will tell us you're calling me Lord Lord
I tell you I have never known you
because you've always been worshiping
something else something you
created and the the pter the prophet
David in the pter tells us that we
become like the gods we worship we
become death like them and blind like
them death and blind to the truth of
God we need time and space alone with
God not because of some sort of
um mental health need although of course
that would do us tremendous good and
also not for some sort of emotional need
we need it because it is in that silence
in that Stillness and alone with God in
the midst of his creation God will find
ways to make himself known to us also in
the ways in which we do not want to know
him because God is loving and forgiving
God is love
himself but he is also the one who tells
us
plainly that there is a hell and that
the large majority of the world
walks into that hell the same God who
says I am love the same God who puts
himself on that cross out of love for us
in order to open the path of Salvation
to us the same God who has
endless endless Limitless love for the
sinner is the same God who then tells
that sinner sin no
more there is a very clear
line separating what is righteous life
living into heaven and sinful life
leaving into hell where there's nashing
of teeth and the worm that never rests
these are not my words and if I could if
I could I would erase these words
because I want to be saved myself and
every single human being ever created
from Adam and Eve through us sinners
onto the last human being ever to be
created I want and I pray and I hope
that we shall all be saved but as much
as I want it as much as I hope it as
much as I pray for it I know I am not
able to erase these truths because these
truths come from the word of God himself
and they are written in the scripture
and to bra these parts to say that
anything we do any life we lead will
save
us then that would mean that I betray
you in the most horrendous way and it
would mean that I also with the large
majority of the Christians today build
up my own God and worship this God
instead of God the truth who is truth
himself
fight for time and space alone with God
fight that you bring before the eyes of
your mind God himself as he reveals
himself to us through the fullness of
the scriptures and the tradition of the
church so that you do not end up
worshiping your own manmade God God made
according to your
image because you are creating your God
according to the image of your sin and
then you worship that God and you end up
becoming your sin an embodiment of your
sin and then the risk is that we stand
before Christ in judgment and Christ
tells
us I do not know
you what what a waste of life and what a
waste of this tremendous treasure that
you are my brother and my sister because
this is what we are we are these amazing
beings created in God's image with the
potential to have within ourselves
everything that God is in virtue of his
nature we can also be in virtue of his
gift what an amazing being to be and
what a waste to lose that for momentary
temporary pleasure of a life of
sin I'm grabbing my heart out and I'm
sending it to you wherever you are my
brother wherever you are my sister
take good care of
yourselves fight for your salvation
fight for yourself because you are so
worth it you are so worth it you are
such an amazing being if we end up being
whom God created us to be the Saints the
Saints whom God created us to
be I keep you in my prayers please keep
us in your prayers and in your support
we are here and we survive here because
of you and because of your support and
your sacrifice and for that may God
repay you a thousand times
fold All My Love In Christ to you my
brother and my sister
