what is up everybody today we are

finally getting a chance to take a look

at Massacre girl and let's just say if

our opponents are running creatures they

don't want to see

me that's right guys today if you are

running creatures in your deck you're

going to want to run the other way

because we are a massacre girl deck this

deck was built around this creature it's

so sick it's something I've been wanting

to play for a while but basically this

card gives all of your creatures wither

meaning if they deal damage to an oppon

creature instead of dealing the damage

they're actually going to get minus one

one counters until they're you know to

zero and then they die and when things

die at zero power you're going to be

able to draw a card so it's a nice way

for a card uh value you know every

single time you kill something you're

drawing a card if you kill it the right

way today we're going to be killing it

with things like virtue of persistence

where you're going to be putting minus

three minus three under a creature

killing it and then thus drawing a card

of Massacre girl we have other ways of

doing that with drown -4 -4 we got the

uh bloodline coling - 5 - so this can

pretty much hit anything and then also

if you're running against boros convoke

right now this card is really sweet cuz

you can minus 2 two across the board on

all tokens so this could sweep the board

which is pretty cool against that

matchup and then we have a lot of things

with really great death triggers um

Slaughter specialist we're going to be

giving the opponent a token which again

a token's no no problem we end up

sweeping the board against tokens but

it's a creature for us to kill anyways

for us to get counters placed onto the

slaughter specialist every time a

creature dies it gets a token we got a

couple morbid opportuni for a little a

little bit of extra card Advantage as

well we've also got green in the deck

for free strier Lookout because when we

are committing crimes we're actually

going to be ramping and then with that

extra Mana we got Vasa on the field

which if we kill something we can

actually pay one steal that opponent's

creature onto our side of the

battlefield as a treasure now if that

creature has an ability tied to it you

still get to keep the ability which is

pretty cool and then we got Vin Ripper

up top which is going to be the closer

obviously every single time something

dies which is going to be happening a

lot we're going to be dealing two damage

and gaining two life but the real MVP

here guys tox real mixed with Massacre

girl is nuts because of obviously it

minuses all the creatures um with its

ability and if you can sweep the board

you're going to draw a lot of cards

obviously with uh you know the massacre

girl and The Morbid opportunist on the

field so really sweet list guys it it

kills anything with creatures um I don't

know necessarily how viable it is

against control obviously but uh it's a

really good uh build if you're running

against anybody playing creatures so

have fun with this one and we'll jump

right into it and we'll see you at the

end peace out all right guys here we go

today we're going to be playing some

masac girl which I've been really trying

to play for quite some time now do we

like this hand I think I do I've got a

lot of removal early but not until turn

three which can get a bit weird I did

just find a turn two though that's

really nice but yeah this deck has been

really cool man we've been we've been

doing some really fun things with it

we've been stealing creatures and

turning them into Treasures that was uh

definitely something I I didn't intend

on being so fun uh Raska turned out to

be quite the fun card in this build we

stole a couple of uh uh what are they

called the uh the new saddle creatures

that give one one

counters uh let's go ahead and kill that

with what they're not going to be having

a lot of tokens here

so you know what let's save that though

why would we waste that right might have

a bigger Target

later let's just keep killing keep

killing until we get to the virtue of

persistence maybe and uh from there we

can reanimate all their creatures back

to the battlefield for

us as long as it's tapped creature can

okay that's fine we're going to kill

that too we are just an absolute Angel

killing machine they might concede

honestly this is uh this is pretty bad

for them as far as matchups go we

have we're we're a pretty bad match up

for

him

okay I mean why not right I mean it's

not it's not something I want to waste

an entirely huge removal spell on like

that but we keep the pace keep killing

things until eventually like I said we

get the virtue down and then we'll run

uh run away with the

game let's go and drop the vein Ripper

it is a flying creature that can block

very well against these angels

okay another resplendant Angel looking

to gain some life down the line

eventually I mean this could not have

gone any more perfect as far as our

curve goes I'm very happy with how

things are uh you know dialing up and uh

we're not going to attack we're going to

let them have the resplendant angel pump

uh I could block it and kill it which is

pretty interesting cuz I could get the

VIN Ripper right back with the

persistence let's see if they invest in

pumping the respondent angel they will

need at least one more land cuz it's

ability cost six nope they got a giata

though um

why uh is it seed of the Empire or I

guess wandering Emperor is out of the

question they can't use any Mana off the

Gata for that yeah I mean it's probably

seed of the Empire which if they do that

I think it bypasses the

ward okay they didn't have

anything surely there's something up

here

right oh they just

okay hold

um which one do I want to take I think I

want to take this

uh did they gain five life there how did

they gain five life

there oh they gained that much life when

it's dealt damage got it okay I was a

little confused there I'm not going to

lie all right so let's go ahead and take

out take out

you yeah they definitely had me a little

confused on that play I was I was very

curious as how they got that for Angel

but I I just realized they gain life on

that attack let's go ahead and take out

you okay and then I think I'd like to

maybe give him the option here I'd like

to give him the option to block because

if we if they block this and they take

out my vein Ripper I'll just bring it

back next turn with the

persistence I'd be happy with that but

no instead they take the

six all right they swing through with

the 66 they do have to pay Mana for the

angel ties to get that through uh no

blocks you can have the six damage all

good and they're going to Demolition and

field my uh Cottage that's

fine um what do I want

next this I'll take a resplendant angel

cuz we do have the means to gain a lot

of Life per turn uh with the vein

rippers on the field which now we have

another

one all right they take out the angel

fair

enough I mean we're just we're coasting

at this point guys we're absolutely

destroying this Ang deck it again it's

not the opponent's fault it's not the

way anything's being played here it's

just this matchup is very very very bad

for them uh it's not something they

wanted to run into cuz whenever you play

a mid-range Deck with creature kind of

every single turn creature creature

creature and we just keep killing them

every turn that's not very fun i' I've

been on the other end of

that feels bad

man wouldn't be surprised if we see a

scoop here but they can't really do

anything to the vein rippers unless they

want to sack a creature and if they

swing through I'm going to trade and

then get the vein Ripper right back

so all right Slaughter specialist is

interesting I will be playing it for

sure but it's not super helpful here uh

they gain

life I I've I've learned my lesson here

so the Metropolis reformer gains life

whenever we deal damage damage to it

um I guess we'll swing this through

then so we don't give them six life is

that smart they gain

three or should I just give them the six

and deal three I guess it doesn't

matter they're going to be losing four

because of the two blood Ripper Trigger

or the uh vein Ripper triggers and

then back down to eight okay

i' say it's worth that attack I think

that was

right Archangel of Wrath pretty good

they kicked it twice they sure

did they sure did all right there goes

our specialist man they are hanging on

huh they I was going to say they finally

scooping up thank goodness but man they

were they were clawing for their life

man they were not giving up there

GG's o okay now we got a lot of the

really fun pieces this game should be

interesting we're going to keep this for

sure uh we got ways to draw cards ways

to ramp this is going to be nice and fun

man oh we're going to need our token

removal spell drawing another land there

does kind of hurt a little bit inner sky

so are we boros convoke or are we like a

human Soldier type

deck um I think our best bet here right

now is the silencer just cuz it's the

bigger body of the two and it's got the

death touch so it'll slow the attacks

down a little

bit I'm really surprised we didn't see a

resplendant uh what's it the uh Resolute

reinforcer that's a good find do I use

it now though I don't think I do I think

I'm going to go and play out the

massacre girl and then I'll use it maybe

next turn on the cathar that way we can

not only get back our creature but

trigger that draw step

oif foration no way dude that's annoying

okay that's

annoying fair enough fair enough

um I'm so greedy I'm like super greedy

cuz I want to play The Morbid

opportunist but I think the calling is

the way to go if I'm being smart here

gosh dar dude but I want to draw cards

they took away the masac girl they

probably have another OIC we just got

to I don't know I don't know what the

right move is here but this is the move

I'm going

with cuz if I can block something to

here you never know they might walk into

an attack here kind of trying to go wide

and if I can get one of them to turn

into a treasure that' be nice but no

it's another brutal catar

talk about brutal right brutal

catar that's actually so

annoying their deck works very similar

to mine though I will say that you know

the whole play a creature and then get

some sort of benefit of removing

something off the

field theirs just does it a little bit

differently

um I'd really like to maybe just

activate my Cottage to make a block

here I know I'm giving the brutal Kar

transformation but I think that's

fine ad Aline oh my

gosh we're in trouble we're in a lot of

trouble here guys

sure I hope they walk into this block

man that'd be nice but it's not looking

like they're going

to what a bummer dude they they played

reductions this might be a tough one for

I'm gonna go with the morbid opportunist

first if I can get that down and the

massacre girl at the same time and we

get Rolland man that's going to be

nice oh dang it The Defector might makes

difficult all right we're going to go

with the massacre girl

first and then next turn I can go

Slaughter specialist and then drown and

then maybe I

can maybe I can stack the our stack a

little bit differently to where maybe

the slaughter specialist gets the one

counter and then we proliferate I don't

know how that's going to work I may have

to actually do this though Auto order

triggers off

man that scrs might is quite the tech

card against us um I respect that for

them to have that in their

build all right they're fully committing

on the air strike

here that's not great for

us that is not

great all right

um what to do what to do I kind of need

this to blow up

this so we don't die um so I may just

need to go straight for the the drown

which means that I don't really need

this to be off

anymore so give me a kill spell please

give me a kill spell that I can take out

katilda I would greatly appreciate

it they're going to give it protection

from black before it goes smart very

Tyrant from them with verasa and turn it

into a treasure we still get the effects

actually really thanks to the cottage

cuz the cottage kept attacking in and we

were just exiling the cards from their

graveyard making their gin

smaller so it's definitely doable we've

we've beat this match up before

uh they've got something I don't know

what they're trying to what they're

waiting on

but oh okay it's not exactly what we

thought it was it's going to be Ninjutsu

type

stuff we'll be taking care of that

before they can get their stuff going

maybe The Morbid opportunist would have

been fine there but I didn't want it to

get bounced or something I don't I don't

want them Landing attack on us because

they get all these sort of benefits when

they do

a two three toxic

one I know I just said what I said but I

almost feel like I should play it I'm

regretting I didn't play it last time um

control becomes a creature with base

depends on whether or not they hit a

land on the top of their deck which is a

bit of a gamble but not really they

should be fine they

are so they get a bounce unfortunately

uh bringing in another way to gain more

Treasures yep you got

um envisioned playing it but it hasn't

things like the vein Ripper and uh the

free Strider those two cards really help

this deck shine and uh not to mention

because we're splashing in that green

that you know that rasa was a ton of fun

as well love that card a lot we didn't

get to Showcase it as much as I would

have liked to but we did actually have a

game prior to the video where we stole

something and it was actually uh giving

us counters every single turn because

the creature still had its ability it

was really funny but uh really fun list

and Massacre girl is definitely up there

with some of my favorites but it's just

really hard to build around so we won't

see too much of that card around but uh

I'm just glad we got a chance to play it
