everyone I trust everybody's ready for a

wonderful lesson this

morning okay a little quiet this morning

but this is a good lesson that we had

before us but also too it's a it's a bit

of sweet lesson and I'll explain that

after we have our opening word of prayer

so since Lonzo has led us off by

standing to his feet we ask that we all

might also join in and as we pray this

morning let's pray together as one that

God would give us some insight and

understanding of what this word is

saying to us not only this day but what

it was being said to John back during

his time so shall we pray father it's

once again upon this hour and upon this

day that each and every one of us come

to you now with thankful Hearts we come

right now dear Lord just thanking you

for allowing us to see yet another

Sabbath day a day truly of rest but also

a day of worship a day in which you have

given us once again another opportunity

where we are able to set foot inside

these walls to go over what thus sayith

the your word and as always dear Lord we

ask that you may give us just a portion

of wisdom from on high that we all may

be able to understand this lesson in a

clear fashion dear Lord that we may

leave here with more than we came with

with knowledge and understanding of your

word that we can not only use for our

benefit but also for the benefit of

others we ask right their blessing upon

those that are here and those truly that

still yet may be on their way for it's

in that precious and adorable name of

our Lord and savior that we give this

wonderful lesson that's laid before us

but it's a I call it a Bittersweet

moment it's bitter in the fact that this

is the last lesson that we have for this

our spring quarter as you know we've had

thus far 13 lessons and all 13 lessons

deal with the subject matter of that of

Jesus Is God and throughout this whole

concept we've been studying on the one

Central thought and that is a thought

known as trinitarianism other words that

of the Trinity speaking to that which is

called the godhead the Father the Son

and that of the Holy Spirit we've been

dealing with how you have the three into

one the one into three and operating yet

in unity as that of one it is a subject

matter that is baffling for those

outside the faith and it can be

confusing for those that are in the

faith but in the end we've learned that

no matter how we may see this we have to

accept it as it is because the word

tells us it is what it is and that makes

it bitter because guess what we're

ending the session

but it's a sweet moment because guess

what we're about to start next week a

whole new series and each and every qut

I look forward to the new series of

lessons being started and we have the

books which we'll pass out a little bit

later but the thing that makes me so

excited about this next um summer

quarter series lesson we're dealing with

we're dealing with a subject matter

that's extremely important and I have

never in my years of standing before you

had a whole series dealing with the

subject matter guess what it deals with

folks it is dealing with God's work

through

women God's work through women is what

we're dealing with the next quarter

lesson 13 lesson is different because

also you know normally we have 13

lessons divided into three units this

one's a little bit different we have 13

lessons but they only divide them into

two units our first 10 lessons dealing

with one subject and that is the women

and then the last three deals with our

youth because often times these two can

be slighted and we know there's various

gender things that go on unfortunately

in Christianity or with people in their

interpretations but we going to bring

some clarity to this thing coming in our

summer quarter and it's a quarter I

really have to do some serious studying

on because the women in here far

outnumber me so I got be very careful

what I say but it should be a wonderful

session

but still we have to finish this

particular quarter series of lesson

today our lesson is the last lesson of

our spring quarter and we're dealing

with what's known as the Alpha and the

Omega if I might start it off I guess I

would

say in the Old Testament there was a man

by the name of Solomon do anybody

remember a title that was placed upon

Solomon we know he was King but there's

something else they always said about

Solomon

he was honest but wisdom you know many

called him the wisest man that there

ever was but you know Wise people can

make bad decisions can't they because we

know in the end Solomon converted over

to adultery other words worshiping idols

and so on from there but he was a wise

man and one of his writings you'll find

in Ecclesiastes he gives some very

powerful words and those words they are

that that to everything there's what a

season and a Time to every purpose under

the heavens and he goes in a Litany of

things but he starts off by say there's

a time to be born and then he says a

time to die what he speaks of when he

says he talks about a beginning and that

of an end and most things have a

beginning with our Spring quarter series

of lesson we started off with that of

Jesus Is God and we turned that thing

around and said that God is Jesus and

the first lesson dealt with Jesus deity

in other words the position that he

holds that God had set him in in unit

two our first lesson dealt with that of

Jesus first miracle and what was the

first

miracle turn water that into wine but

today we're in the last Les lesson which

is fitting because today's lesson is

titled

Alpha and Omega it deals with a

beginning and an end but we have to

understand something about that phrase

when he speaks of God say I am the Alpha

and Omega that is given to us so that we

can understand it

because when you say Alpha you're

talking about the Greek alphabet which

is the first letter the Omega which is

the last letter in his totality but

you'll find with God there is no

beginning and there is no end but we

can't without finite thinking fathom

that thought to how can not have a

beginning everything is beginning you

know you had a mother your mother had a

mother that mother had a mother mother

keeps going on continually but when I

read that I thought about Pastor Jackson

and we all know the story I'm not going

to go through it

of the man who said he can make man

better than God remember you reached

down to and grab some dirt off the

ground and God said get your own dirt it

shows you that God always has existed

but with God there is no beginning and

there is no end that say is given so man

can relate to God in some form or

fashion it's no more different than when

you talk of um God in the realm of in

physical terms what we say about God the

hand of God

the Breath of God the the footsteps of

God and so on but God's a spirit Spirit

doesn't have these things but man can't

begin to contemplate on that level so

here they give us he's the Alpha and the

Omega just so we can understand in this

totality God is everything he is all now

in our lesson today we're coming out of

an interesting

book it's a book that some people may

not can find in the Bible because very

rarely do anyone ever ever comes from

this book it is known as

Revelations how of you see somebody say

turn to the Book of Revelations it's

extremely rare now I don't know if we

can put Dr red the books in a let's say

a category of what's more important than

the other because all of it's important

but Revelation is extremely important

book because it deals with what's known

as eschatology it deals with the end

time the second coming and so on from

there it tells you of a lot of things

that shall come to

pass but guess what most time people

don't go there they go to other books

and use other tis but very few things

come from Revelations and we all have I

guess reasons

why some I would give you as I think

people don't come from Revelations one

because of

fear when they read Revelation you know

it talks about war it talks about

pestilence it talks about disease it

talks about famine it talks about a

third of the earth scorched with fire

and so on and people go I don't want to

read nothing about that I just want

erity you know Good Will and all these

type things so they deviate from

that talks about the church there's many

things that we need to know you'll find

that also in this realm that people stay

away from it because we try to how can I

put this we put too much into our

thought sometimes you know you read too

much into things in that the Book of

Revelation is full of a lot of

symbolisms you know he talks about

mosquitoes with metal and stinging and

so on there and people say oh that's a

patch helicopters it talks about the

Earth being scorched with fire they say

that's nuclear weapons we don't know

what it may be but we do know the aath

of what shall come from it it talks

about certain countries U rising up the

Panther and the lion doing so and so and

people say well that's China That's

Russia that's this one no one knows but

we do know the a the map of what going

to come from it but the confusion comes

about is because Al says this Michael

says that and this one says this and

people go I'm too confused because I

don't know what what the book is talking

about but but the aftermath is very

important you'll find another reason

people don't come from Revelation is

because I would say I'll put this on the

teachers because often

times they don't let you know the

confusion comes about because Revelation

is not in a chronological order the

chapters are not in order you'll find

they're com in like a series give you

example I think like one and five are in

order then to stay in that order you

need to go then to like the 9 through 12

then you finish 9 through 12 you have to

go back and catch 6 through 8 to see

what's going on the writer has put it in

different spots so guess what it causes

confusion so people tend to stay away

from it it's kind of like um anybody

heard of the actor producer Quint

terino Quinton ter makes a lot of movies

I guess one of his more famous ones was

a book called pul book a movie called

Pulp Fiction and in Pulp Fiction you

watch it once you get into it you'll

find that it starts off in the middle

then it jumps to the end then it comes

back to the beginning then it jumps back

to the middle but as you into the movie

you understand how it flows and you know

what is going on but it can't be

confusing if you just walk into it the

Book of Revelation is no different once

you get into it and start reading it

then you understand how all the pieces

come together but by being a book of

fear a book of confusion people tend to

stay away from it but today we're going

to dive into it because it brings up

some very very important things dealing

with a subject matter that we always

talk about and that's Jesus second

coming but with his second coming guess

what a whole lot of things come with

that a whole lot of things come with

that from This Book of Revelation The

Book of Revelation in and of itself it

means to reveal or that which is

uncovered other words when you reveal

something you uncover something you're

showing them something you'll find in

this text what it is is God gives Jesus

this revealing this revelation who Jesus

now gives it to an angel to present it

to John the Apostle as he's on the

island of pamus he is there for exile

for preaching the gospel and therefore

he is put you could say really in prison

there but he writes this epistle that is

given to him by the angel of

God another ER of confusion is that

people will say Revelations uh it means

reveal uncover and then we deal this

word called the

apocalypse and when the question put

forth what is the apocalypse know I Comm

here Doom Gloom destruction war and so

on and so on but guess what it doesn't

mean that but we always say that this

where this thing of atmology the state

of words come into place because you'll

find if you look up that word apocalypse

it doesn't mean Doom and Gloom and hate

some people say the Great Apocalypse uh

know what it means apocalypse means to

reveal of that which is uncovered So

when you say Revelations you're saying

the Apocalypse is what revealed now what

is dooming Gloom that's called

Armageddon but see how we confuse those

words most time people say oh the

apocalypse that's when everything is

scorched no the apocalypse just means

that's the story of what's being told

the Doom and Gloom part if you want to

use that terminology that is what's

known as Armageddon the Great War this

is why you'll find in some writings it

doesn't call it the Book of Revelations

they will say the book of the Apocalypse

because it's the exact same word just

that's saying it in a different

way but here you'll find John's going to

reveal things to us as it has been

revealed unto him now we're in

Revelation what

chapter 22 y'all realize that is the

last chapter of

Revelations and typically you have to

have a backdrop right to get you where

you're at know what's being said but

there's no way in the world we can cover

21 chapters to get to where we had to

get this understanding but just

understand this this is a word that God

has given to Christ Christ has now given

it to his Angel which is his ministering

Spirit to pass along to John himself and

many things have come about somewhat

leading into this they talk about the

great City the New Jerusalem coming down

from heaven and this where you hear

people quote those saying at the

funerals they said no more pain no more

suffering No More Tears and all these

things and all these words they are true

of themselves and but then he rolls into

what he's saying here now in Revelation

2 I'm sorry 22:6 and he says these word

and he said unto me now this expository

way to avoid confusion no matter who

speaking is all whose word it's God's

word so just look at it from that

perspective because once again it is God

who has given this word that's going

forth so God is actually the one who's

doing the speaking here now he says and

he said unto me so your Source here is

who God is given this word he didn't get

it from anyone else he didn't get it

from any straight word but it's God who

is now bringing forth this word he said

and he said unto me these things are

faithful and

true what does that

mean these words I'm saying to you

remember a lot of stuff came before this

and he's just summarizing that so he

saying what throughout those

Revelations exactly he said other words

come to pass there's one thing you have

to understand about the Bible is this

the Bible always speaks truth no matter

what it speaks truth some people have

viewed it as let's say a book of History

which it is and it's full of information

saying yes it's a book of information

but it's not written Just for

information the book is written for

transformation to bring about a change

in your life and each and everything you

see that you'll find guess what is

true unlike AR books you know have books

not even those books are true a lot of

things are being held back from you

history you look at the history of any

individual typically you'll find that

history is glorious they don't have a

president that we've had in this modern

era and with all these things well I can

remember a whole lot of things that

wasn't great that he did a whole lot of

of how you see um well the original

concept of back in the 60s Civil Rights

Movement when we were typically asleep

it started that movement but now's been

hijacked and people use it for

everything other than what it's actually

intended for and especially with history

certain books guess what you can't read

can't have those books but you can have

found that history is always has its

flaws but you'll find with God's word is

always faithful and guess what and true

you know you look at the great uh you

can use let's say for example uh Hebrews

11 that's typically called the Roll Call

Jeremiah Isaiah the list goes on and on

but guess what when you read the Bible

can look at this book and say today

says God is not a man that he should lie

repent have he not said shall he not do

is always good to know your source of

you bad information or good information

fine for giving out fake news now keep

every other news agency out there is

fake right but they admitted this that

yes they put forth fake news the CEO

deceptive in the news that we put out

fired I don't know why they told the

truth they say yeah we told lies but

a good source after putting out fake

news you know if somebody gives you

let's say some they're not known to give

you the right information right you

were prophets who could Proclaim God's

word in other words they were more

preachers they proclaimed his word but

they didn't have prophetic prophecy as

far as what's going to happen in the

future then you'll find there were those

who were guess what prophets who God

would give them a future Revelations but

they weren't proclaimed of his word as

far as preaching they would just take

this is what God has said so sometimes

their words are different here what

we're dealing with is that he's not

speaking about a future prophets as far

as proclaiming something that's new he

basically this word that's going forth

who shall tell people say things that

surely shall come to pass I guess the

there but he says behold for

that day and time that you better be

ready but once again it gives you all

I'm not studying Revelations it is one

most important books that you could

possibly ever read because it points to

the thing that we all talk about the day

back and this book gives you all the

information of the things that going to

go on even before he comes back let you

know the time truly is at hand but

he's coming back H but he does give you

signs of when he coming back so be you

ready but he says behold I come quickly

he that keepeth the SS of the prophecy

of this book that word blessed has

means highly favored it means to be

testimony

son saith thy Throne of God is forever

and ever in other words he said an angel

is a ministering spirit

all they do is serve me you don't do

this but you know what's powerful about

this is that when it comes to the angels

I look at as more of a he's an awe the

angel he's probably given more respect

because the Angels stand in the presence

of God and often time you'll find they

always will fall to Angels but the angel

will say immediately don't worship me

the angel will say immediately do not

worship me but in their hierarchy you'll

find that this what they were taught by

the retical order is that you ship the

Angels they even had a belief that you

didn't go through Jesus Christ to get to

heaven they had various degrees in a

hierarchy of angels you go through this

Angel then you get to this Angel and

this Angel and that's how you got into

heaven but Christ and God each and every

time the angels are just ministering

Spirits they are just like you they are

fellow servant they are fellow prophets

they are not to be worshiped and the sad

part about this is guess what this is

the first time this has happened to

blessed are they which are called unto

the angel told him you don't worship me

that same mode of worshiping Angels long

you know look at angels from a whole

different perspective wrong perspective

how many times you've been a funeral

somebody's passed away and they said

they got their wings

now I don't want to cause no problems in

here but there's no way in the Bible say

anybody getting wings nobody in the

Bible says that you're going to shall we

say go to heaven and you're going to

change that and have wings like an angel

it tells about you shall have a body not

know what what it shall be but it shall

be like his glorious you should be

changed in a moment in the twinkling of

an eye but guess what it say about the

Angels it said the day shall come when

you shall Rule and judge over the Angels

so how's it now we made to be that of an

Angel but you find that angels are just

his min in spirit that goes forth to

bring forth his word and the angel even

says fell well verse 8 and I saw these

things and heard them and when I heard

and seen I fell down to worship Him

worship before the feet of the Angel

which showed me these things then sayth

he unto me see thou do it

not early he told him that thing see

thou do it not other words don't do this

now we can interject what we like here

you know I often like to interject

things uh into scripture but I let you

know that I'm interjecting it is not

scriptor but if you look at that

situation do you think for a moment

that's how the angel might have handled

that earlier he told him don't do this

you know you can't worship me you only

worship God but you gonna say it again

again he like Angel says please get up

you don't supposed to worship me you

happened think about it I know what I

think might have happened now once again

it's not in the scripture right I think

that angel man said something like if

you don't get up off that ground trying

to get me killed G strike me down other

way every time I turn around you bowing

down worshiping me this is more of a

form of rebuke so John you're not not

getting it each and every time you're

bowing down for the one who stand before

you but I stand only in the presence of

God for God to bring you this message

but yet you're not getting the message

because you keep bowing down to worship

the Angels so he said then sayith he

unto me see thou do it not he says for I

am what thy fellow what servant

throughout scripture it always speaks of

the angels as just being served

just like it says the prophets who bring

forth God's word not to be worshiped you

can say to be respected but not to be

worship he said I am thy feather servant

and of thy Brethren the prophets once

again we're all in this thing together

is what he's saying I am not above you

you're not above me we're all working

for God he says and thy brother the

prophet and of them which keep the same

this book worship God once again he G

that same statement again when you come

to Worship You worship who worship God

he said it earlier when it comes to

Worship You worship who worship God our

that exact same thing you only worship

the Angels it says and he said unto me

but he goes back to verse 13 as I close

out here he says I

am Alpha what and Omega the beginning

and the end the first and the last once

again we know he is more than that based

upon other scriptures but for man to

understand he says in his totality he

said about one thing I am that I am I am

all things Jesus he says I Jesus have

sent my angel to test

ify unto you these things in the

churches I am the root and The Offspring

of David and the bright and the morning

star that deals back with the says of

Isaiah and talking about he's that

Bright Morning Star that they would

always see early in the morning and that

symbolizes also a new day and that of

the Messiah finally coming and that

Isaiah said that he would be a root of

David a offspring of David which Christ

was in his laly other words fulfilling

prophecy is what he speaks of now but as

we speed through this it say and the

spirit and the bride say come and let

him that hears say come and let him that

is a thirst come and whosoever will let

him take the Word of Life freely that

speaks to that the prophets going forth

you have to put forth that invitation to

come then he says for I testify unto

man shall add unto those things God

shall add unto him the plagues that are

written in this book verse 19 says and

if any man shall take away from the

shall take away his part out of the book

this book basically what it's saying is

you don't add to it and you don't take

from it cuz these fa sayings are

faithful and what true cuz when you

start adding your own things to the word

what tends to

happen it changes it and if you had

changed it from being God's word become

your word now it's become what we call

false prophecy so you can't change it

you can't add to it this is why I'm very

careful each time I say some say well

this is not scripture but this is what I

think might have went on or this is what

I think on the subject matter but I give

you the scripture and what he says but I

don't add to it or take away from it

this is why the King James in the

original translation would put in words

in italics the writer want you to know

that this is not in original writings

but I put it there to help you

understand things better but I don't

want to change this word because this is

what it says but in closing he says for

he which testify these things um sayth

surely I come quickly amen and what does

amen

mean you can say the end but amen means

something

in agreement it's so other words you

agree you know when you said something

oh yes did so so everybody say amen amen

that means you agree with it plain and

simple is what it says so he says amen

even so come Lord Jesus he said Grace

and of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you

all amen and then it also means there's

an end so it has multiple meanings but

we have there but once again study that

going into a powerful subject matter

dealing with the ladies of the

church is God's work I think it's God's

Works through women if you look at your
