so sick all right so we've seen a ton of

people arguing about who the best five

star to pick from the selection Banner

is and obviously it's going to depend on

that who that first character was that

you pulled on the like the 50 the

beginner Banner the discount Banner but

I wanted to clarify and clear up some

misconceptions about certain characters

and kind of explain to you guys my

thought process on the best meta picks

and which ones are going to be the best

for your account and help you make an

informed decision on who to pull for

spoilers there is one character that is

just definitely better than all of them

but we can talk about that when we get

there so I've had a lot of questions in

chat and stuff about it and I want to

just clear things up so you guys can

understand kind of what each one of

these characters do and so that way you

guys can make an informed decision so

let's look at them so on the standard

Banner there are five characters

currently you have Karo you have Verina

lingyang gensin and we have Encore so

these are the five characters that you

can choose from on you on the basically

selection Banner there's a lot of people

that haven't actually been able to

select the character yet so this is

going to be a really cool opportunity

for you guys to be able to get someone

that you want especially if you didn't

win that initial discount banner I think

this is also an effort to get them to

stop rollers which is totally fine I

guess like if that's what that they want

to do that's totally fine but basically

a brief overview of every character

first so I can tell you guys what they

do so Encore is going to be your Fusion

damage dealer she is actually an amazing

DPS probably one of the best DPS in the

entire game very easy to play but she

does have a high skill ceiling now what

I mean by that is that if you need to

Parry uh enemies she actually has to

Jumping attack to Parry them she she

won't Parry them normally however she's

a is a very good character uh especially

because she has this heavy attack that

takes forever to charge and just nukes

it's on her forte circuit but what you

can do is you can actually use it and

you can switch to another character so

that nuke timing doesn't even really

matter that much it also teleports to

the enemy so the enemy runs away when it

blows up it's going to it's going to

blow up on them you basically don't have

to worry about it missing on them which

is super nice Encore is a super strong

character she does have this downside

where a lot of her damage is locked

behind her ultimate or her residence

Liberation but with a proper rotation

and proper knowledge how to play

character definitely one of the top DPS

so right now all she's missing is a

dedicated support now the next character

we're going to talk about is chansin now

she is going to be our Premier Arrow

standard DPS character or sorry standard

Banner character now a lot of people try

to build her as a pseudo DPS pseudo

support character that's cuz I mean part

of the problem is just like wondering

ways every character does damage so like

it kind of makes sense but a lot of

people are confused on her because some

of her kit is support oriented and some

of it's damage oriented so she's almost

like a hybrid personal damage isn't that

bad but it's nothing super insane now

the value for gensin is is that she

actually gives you two things she gives

you crowd control and she gives you AOE

damage in the future if you don't have a

lot of crowd control characters like uh

I'm not sure if this this elector ban is

going to be out past release a ton but

I'm assuming it is right so if you don't

have a lot of crowd control characters

in the game then her value is going to

be strictly that where she's able to

pull in enemies with her resonance

Liberation which is super nice and then

she has AOE damage when she charges her

forte circuit on top of that when you

use her forte circuit she also gets a

shield which is super nice and the

shield can be enhanced even further with

this ability the reflection inherent

skill and she also gets some damage as

well her intro skill also is going to

pull enemies in and her outro skill is

going to give your next character

resonance Liberation deepen damage now

if you don't know what deepen damage

does this 38% means that the damage

dealt by your next characters or by the

characters that are within this damage

window does 1.38 times damage so if

you're doing 1,000 damage now you're

going to do 1,380 damage uh and that's

super nice and that's only on the

resident Liberation though and that's

why I think this character in my opinion

uh is she's kind of in limbo we're not

sure where to put her so L gang's whole

deal is he is a glacio DPS now we

already kind of have one of those in

sanwa but L gang's whole thing is like

his entire kit does damage basic attack

does damage makes sense vant skill does

damage uh Forte circuit does more damage

he gets an enhanced state where he does

more damage and then he's also going to

do damage with his residence Liberation

damage with his intro skill damage with

his outro skill everything he does is

damage now the downside to him is that

he's actually at s0 he is a little bit

underwhelming in my opinion compared to

and that's going to be one of the things

that he struggles the most with and

we'll go into more detail about that

when we're looking at the other

characters a pick it takes a little bit

to get into his enhanced State um but he

does dish out a decent amount when he's

in the enhanced state so that's

something to think about the next

character on the list is Vina and she's

a spectro Healer now Verina has some

pretty insane kit utility her intro

skill is just going to be Spectra damage

but what makes her insanely good is that

her outro skill is an attack bonus and a

deepen bonus so you're giving an attack

percent based on her attack so if you

build her with like all attack for

example she's going to give 90% of that

for 6 seconds per heal so basically it's

going to make it so you kind of have

this this persisting attack buff and

your characters that come after Verina

are getting a 15% all damage deepen

which means that like the characters

that are coming next to the rotation for

30 seconds by the way so this is

basically until you get back to Verina

are getting 1.15 times damage so she's

not only giving attack she's also giving

that but on top of that she has another

attack above that she can give the team

attack plus 20% this isn't based on

venas this is just 20% of their attack

and then also she can give a Shield to

any teammates that might die this is

extra good with dungeon if you're

playing risky characters this can

prevent her her from Death on top of

that she is a Healer like as I mentioned

before she heals and she scales off of

her attack so there's no split scaling

and to add to that she's also a sub DPS

because her residence Liberation helps

her deal damage when she's off field so

I feel like I've been yapping about this

character for so long but she

just does everything she's actually so

crazy and then we have Karo now Karo in

this in the game currently he's one of

the best uh he is the best Electro DPS

which is fine and when yland comes out

he is going to have probably the

strongest team in combination with yinin

Yin cultra Arina is probably going to be

the go-to and honestly you might not

even need to play forena on that team

because that damage bonus is going to be

crazy from yland and CRA is a sick

damage dealer the downside to kcho is

that he it is very difficult to maximize

his damage because his range on his

skill is pretty small outro skill is

just going to be more damage and he has

lots and lots of damage but he's a

really cool dude I like seod that home

actually this guy might be I don't want

to piss off final fantasy F BS but I do

like this guy's design a lot all right

that's all I'm going to say so that was

a basic overview of basically all five

of these characters from the sander

Banner so which one do you actually want

to pick I I've been yapping so fast so

if you need to go back and replay I I'll

try to action out the video but

basically all of these characters have

some kind of value they can provide your

your team and your account but some of

them actually have a different amount of

value that you'll see basically based on

their roles in the game currently this

could change in the future we could see

characters that make some of these

characters that are a little bit more

underwhelming even better but as it

stands right now you have two DPS

characters that are very good and you

have a support character that stands out

Above the Rest in my opinion if you have

not gotten Verina she is easily the best

character to pick up on this Banner the

Buffs she gives to your entire team are

so crazy uh and she's a Healer so she

can substitute for B she's basically

baiji Pro Max like she's insanely

valuable she Buffs your entire team for

the entire rotation attack buff another

attack buff and on top of that she gets

damage deepen and on top of that she can

prevent you from death and on top of

that she does her own damage and she's a

she's a sub DPS and I didn't mention

this before but if you give her the

healing set she provides your team

another attack buff on top of what she's

already doing so she is a Crazy

Character easily the best support in the

entire game right now like it's it's not

even close she's actually a character on

steroids it's it's a ridiculous amount

but the other characters you could pick

up let's say you got Vina on your first

one and you so you're like who do I pick

now if I already got Verina well the

next characters that you would be

interested in are going to be Encore and

Karo probably and the reason is because

Karo and Encore have been shown to be

the top DPS for those elements whereas

Jensen and lingyang um honestly they

just fall a little short lingyang his

damage I mean you can compare with like

Sona right and Son's free uh she's a

great Glacier DPS and right now we don't

have any supports that are going to make

lingyang like really stand out that

doesn't mean he's off the table for the

future but I don't feel like I would

prefer to pick up lingyang when there

are characters like Karo Encore and Vina

in the game and Jensen is not a like a

super bad character or anything honestly

both all these characters are good but

Jin's value comes from her AOE grouping

her shield and AOE damage and you don't

always need the AOE damage if you're

against a boss the AOE damage kind of

falls short shields in my opinion are

kind of useless in this game well it

depends on how good you are at the game

basically if if you're good at the game

Shields are useless if if you're not

good at the game then like yeah Shields

are helpful but it takes a while you

have to get a forte circuit up to get

the shield anyways the grouping can be

nice though I will say might be

applicable to Tower of adversity in the

future but I would not pick Jensen or

lingang unless these are just your

favorite characters that you want to

play and that's totally fine too I don't

want to think make you guys think that

I've said you can't pick them cuz you

absolutely can but calaro and Encore are

the best DPS for their categories K Char

is going to get buffed when yland comes

out effectively by Yan's existence both

those characters are going to be insane

together and if we get another Fusion

DPS 5ar maybe that uh what's what's her

name there was someone that was drip

marketed that was really hot they

basically showed off early she ends up

being another like fire support like

fire DPS they can be really good

together as well C do be kind of

mothering though so definitely Verina is

the best pick but if you already have

Verina or if you just don't really care

if you just don't want them you can pick

whoever you want but I think Encore Karo

and Verina are the best fcks and Verina

is definitively the top dog for this so
