Q & A
What lessons have you learned from bodybuilding?
-Bodybuilding has taught me resilience and strength, both mentally and physically. It’s a sport where progress is made one small step at a time, and you really have to push your limits. It has shown me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to, and the journey has made me more confident in all areas of my life.
Why did you choose to spend time in BC?
-I’m not moving to BC permanently, but I’ve been spending almost a month here. I love the people, the energy, and the breathtaking views of the mountains. It’s been an amazing experience, and I’m here until January 2nd, just soaking it all in.
Do you speak any other languages?
-Yes, I know a bit of Spanish and French. I’m not fluent, but I can understand basic phrases and hold simple conversations in both languages.
Are you currently in a relationship?
-Yes, I am! I’ve been with my partner for a few months now, officially together for 2.5 weeks. We started as friends, and I didn’t expect it to turn into a romantic relationship, but I’m really happy we did. It’s been amazing.
What’s your next bodybuilding competition?
-I’ll be competing in the Toronto Pro Qualifier next year. I’m really excited for this one, especially since I felt like I wasn’t as prepared last time. It’s an opportunity to show how much I’ve grown.
How do you feel about life right now?
-I’m in the best place I’ve been in a long time. Life is full of joy and peace right now. After everything I went through last year, I finally feel like I’m thriving. My relationships with family and friends are strong, and I feel so free and confident in my choices.
Did you have any work done, like breast implants?
-Yes, I had breast augmentation surgery. I opted for 450cc high-profile silicone implants, which were done by Dr. S in Toronto. I’ve documented the process on my YouTube channel, so feel free to check that out if you’re interested in the details.
What’s your favorite drink?
-I love tequila, especially Don Julio 1942. If I’m having a cocktail, I tend to go for something refreshing like a margarita, mojito, or sangria. I’m a big fan of good, quality drinks.
What does your workout routine look like?
-Right now, I’m working with James from Team Atlas, and we’ve created a split that works well for me. My workouts focus on specific muscle groups, like glutes, back/biceps, hamstrings, delts/triceps, and quads/calves. I also do 200 calories of cardio 6 days a week, which has been a great way to stay lean and energized.
What advice would you give to someone leaving an abusive relationship?
-It’s essential to have an action plan. I personally went through a lot during my abusive relationship, and therapy was a huge part of my recovery. When leaving an unhealthy relationship, it’s crucial to lean on supportive friends, family, or professionals. You deserve respect, and if you’re not getting it, leaving is the best option for your mental health and well-being.
What do you think are the red flags in a relationship that people should look out for?
-The way someone speaks to you and others, especially their family and friends, is really important. If they’re disrespectful, raise their voice unnecessarily, or make you feel like you’re crazy (gaslighting), those are major red flags. Trust your instincts. If you’re being treated poorly, that’s not the kind of person you want to be around.
