-My name is A Singh, son of late Mr. Mran Singh and Mrs. Mju Singh. I am from Bpur, a small village in Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh. I completed my schooling from V Academy Bpur, securing 90.6% in class 10th and 90.4% in class 12th. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Allahabad.
How do you commute to the University of Allahabad?
-I usually use a mixed mode of transport. From my village to the railway station, I take public transport, like government buses. From there, I travel by train to Prayag Junction, which takes around 3 hours.
Can you tell us about Unnao district?
-Unnao is famous for its tannery works and its rich culture. It has a large river basin, known as Bua, and is historically important due to the fort of Raja Ram Baksh. It is also the birthplace of freedom fighter S. Chanar Aad, although he later moved to Madhya Pradesh.
What is the primary source of income for your family?
-The main source of income for my family is the land we own, about 2.5 acres. We grow wheat, rice, and potatoes. Additionally, we have a four-wheel vehicle that is leased to a driver, providing another source of income.
Can you tell us about your family members?
-My father, Mr. Mran Singh, passed away due to COVID-19 in April 2021. My mother, who is the backbone of the family, supports us. I also have an elder brother who is a neurological patient and requires constant care.
